I am going out with one of my friends tonight and I am sure almost everyone is going to be drinking. I want to join in and have a few drinks because I like too, but I am don't want to jeopardize my calorie count today either. I saved some room for a few hundred calories. What is a low calorie alcholic beverage, not a beer?

i don't know the calorie count but one of my friends who is losing weight drinks gin & tonics a lot. I tend to stick with beer. Mojitos are supposed to be relatively low cal as well (original mojitios, if you get flavored ones the liquors add lots of calories)

Vodka is 70 calories per shot. If you pair that with diet coke, its pretty good. Or use flavored vodka for something a little more fun.
A washington apple shouldn't be too bad. Its Whiskey, Sour Pucker and Cranberry juice. A little high calorie wise, but its not a chugging drink so it should last longer
You should be ok assuming you keep your mixers in check. Avoid full-sugared sodas, grenadine or simple syrup when at all possible.

I love Absolut Vanilla and Diet Coke. The vodka is 69 calories per ounce, a drink or two (or three or... ;) ) isn't going to bust your calories for the day!

I agree with all of the suggestions above - and I've also always heard to avoid dark liquors (so stick with clear vodkas and tequilas). I'm not sure why...but that's what "they" say.
