Hello everyone!! My name is Twilla and I am 30 almost 31 married to the most wonderful man in the world. We have been married for a year and have decided that it may be time to actively TTC. The problem is I am overweight even though I don't eat much and do plenty of exercise I can not seem to shed the weight. I have been doing lots of research and came across information on PCOS. I have many of the symptoms and have decided it is time for me to seek medical help. So that is the next step. If anyone has any advise I will gladly listen and absorb!!

There's a forum for PCOS that might be of some help: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/pcos...ce-support-70/ I've lost 30lbs by counting calories and exercising. You'll find tons of support for whatever program you choice. My advice is to find something that you can stick with long term. Don't look for a quick fix. And stay consistent with whatever you're doing. Best of luck w/everything!

Hi Twilla!

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There's also a wealth of info on different plans, special health challenges and first hand experience advice that may help on your journey.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a short time myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome - you 've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!
