Step right up and take the Turtle Club Challenge.

All of you who lurk on the regular turtle thread are welcome to join our challenge. So is anyone who read this out of curiosity and want to challenge yourself.

This is week two of the challenge. Anyone who wants to join us for the duration is welcome to do so. :)

So here's the challenge:

To eat within our point range, including banked and activity points every day between July 21 and September 1.

Write a post accepting the challenge, if you want to play along. Then post your challenge progress in this thread, daily or weekly, whichever works for you.

Looking forward to seeing all those successful posts.

Happy turtlin'!

Lin

This week I gained a pound. I was OP every day, so I'm thinking the sodium in our restaurant meal last night has caused a bit of water retention.

I'm back in the habit of journaling. So, I want to add 3-5 days of exercise to my challenge for the week.

This week it looks like I lost 3 pounds. I'm not stepping on the scale tomorrow because we went to yet another barbecue today.
I planned ahead and brought a low fat, low cal pasta salad and I brought three FF hot dogs with me for the host to grill. He didn't mind a bit and kept those hot dogs and his daughter's veggie burgers separate from the other foods. Now that's consideration!
I nibbled on bits of dessert and came in in my points range. Foods were saltier than I'd usually eat, so I'll stay off the scale for a few days.

WOW, Judy! :D :D Woo-hoo!

I had two days over points this weekend due mostly to company and going out to eat, but it was only slightly over points and I had enough banked to cover it. Unfortunately, I suspect that I won't lose this week, between those two days and lack of exercise (also due to company). More about that in the main thread.

Great, Judy!! Congratulations!

I'm still OP. Haven't let that little gain get in the way of progress.

Never mind. I looked at my previous post and I didn't lose a pound, as I had erroneously reported in the main thread. But it is water. My fingers are like tiny sausages, which only happens when there's extra water on board.

kids came over for a barbecue. I did okay, but had to use 2 banked points today. Am getting ready for my road trip and I'm excited. Am not sure if I'll be able to get online at my sisters', but I'll try. keep on keepin' on!:dizzy: :p

Hey, Judy. You sound almost like you're beating yourself up over using banked points. That's what they're there for. Enjoy them!!

I'm OP. Walked today. Doing fine, so far this week. :)

OP today.

Not getting in a walk today. I woke up kind of twisted in an odd position and my hip muscle is sore. So, I'm stretching it out around the house, but I'm not going to push it by doing a long walk.

Hi, Turtles,

Still OP. Forgot to write down dinner yesterday, but I know the points were fine. Couldn't go for a walk yesterday because I was waiting for the post office to deliver a certified letter, but he didn't deliver it. I'm so mad! But that's another rant.
