General chatter - U know the holidays are upon us when....

Its the great pumpkin charlie brown is on tv. But who doesnt love charlie brown.

...it is the middle of August and all the Halloween and Thanksgiving items are out, with the clearance items from last year too...

The local hardware store clears out their garden center and turns it into toy land (and you go through it, even if you don't have kids)

...you start trying to figure out if you have enough chairs to seat everyone at Thanksgiving. Also when you wonder where the heck you're going to put the Christmas tree, because now there is an elliptical machine there!

You see Halloween AND Christmas decorations together and Lowes in a huge display. Santa, Satan??? I don't know!!! lol.

when you start seeing christmas things in all the stores... lol huh now i gotta make my xmas shopping gift list.

OMGOSH you are so right!! I had to go to both Home Depot and Lowes today...I don't recall EVER seeing Christmas decorations up before Halloween...

but then I play Christmas music off and on all year and have small nativity scene out always....

when a shopping center you went to YESTERDAY had Christmas decorations up already --BIG OUTDOOR DISPLAY OF SANTA, REINDEER, AND TREES!!! and it's not even Halloween yet!!!!
