Mini-Goal Photo Album - Who wants to see something amazing?!

So i was looking back at old pictures of myself....and I was completely disgusted by how big I was. I don't think I realized I'd gotten that big. I think that even my "weightloss" pictures were the most flattering ones I could possibly take....

Just take a look at these candid pictures from my birthday on May 28 2009

yeah, I know...TERRIBLE pictures. I NEVER realized I was that big.


Well I was also looking through some candid pictures from this past weekend at the ren fest....and I think I look smaller. It's hard to tell because it was super cold so I was wearing four shirts and a hoodie and two pairs of pants, and the hoodie was black and it was dark outside, but even in my face I see a difference...

once again, terrible pictures...but I see a difference...

Now look at these two next to each other. The one on the left is the old picture, and the one on the right is from this weekend. Ignore the fact that my waist is so tiny, I was wearing a corset that shrunk it immensely and made it so that I could barely breath...Just look at MY ARMS.

One of the pictures is big and one is small because I tried to make my shoulder width the same so you could better compare. I don't know about you guys, but I see a HUGE difference...FINALLY! I hadn't seen it before now, but I guess it's because I hadn't seen myself in those unflattering positions that everyone else had seen me in.


What a relief. I know I haven't lost much this month, but I am feeling much better about my lack of loss now. I'll catch up soon. =D

Big difference in your arms and face. And no, I will NOT ignore your waist in the corset because you look FANTASTIC. I understand that not being able to breathe is a bad thing, but you can understand why ladies of yore wore those things....va-va-voom! :)

I have another mini goal to add though. I started working for target about two weeks ago now, and when I was offered the job I ran to walmart and bought one pair of size 18 khaki pants. Obviously one pair wouldn't be enough, but I didn't have the money for more at that time...

so ANYWAYS, I didn't even try on the pair, I got home and they fit okay...well after my first couple of weeks at work I KNOW they were WAY too big...so I went back to walmart to buy a belt to hold them up and maybe another pair if i could find them.

For kicks, I tried on a size 16 pair, and THEY FIT! I'm SO freaking excited you have no idea. I haven't been a 16 since like...freshman or sophmore year in high school....I'm so so so so happy....SO I bought two pairs, so I could have two pairs of size 16s that fit. =D

BTW, I started my weightloss journey out in an EXTREMELY tight size 20...now I'm in a semi-tight size 16 =D

You are a very beautiful young lady, and those pounds off was just what your face needed. And about the corset, give yourself some credit, no amount of waist strangulation would make it look like that if you still were a size 20.

Besides, breathing is overrated. ;)
