Living Maintenance - Trip to Vegas - hot dresses, good food, fake eyelashes - O My!

Had a wonderful weekend in Vegas. Saw O, checked out Fleur de Lys (Hubert Keller's Vegas restaurant in Mandalay Bay), shopped, went to the MAC counter and got totally made up even with fake eyelashes! Wore some VERY VERY hot dresses.

Yes - I posted this for a lot of reasons. First, to share with you guys who I consider friends. Second, to show anyone who might be struggling that maintenance is a joyful experience. There have been some threads lately that has made it seem like too much effort, deprivation and never eating anything good! It might sometimes be work, but it's not all deprivation and it is definitely worth it. Did you see my bootay in that dress? I can't believe that's my butt!

Loved the pics; you made me want to gather up my girlfriends and go. And how cute do you look in that pink-to-purple dress!!!??? And the fake eyelashes! I agree with Traveling Michelle; you look like a million bucks and you guys looked like you were having a great time.

Very, very inspirational. You're right; all too often, weight loss is presented as a horrible, painful struggle. We need pictures like this to remind us that it is a whole lot of fun to be healthy and slim!

In the interest of full disclosure, discovered my pants are too tight. Hopefully, this is a true portrayal of maintenance. It's okay to plan for offplan eating, as long as you are prepared to quickly get back on track! I am back on track :)

My husband and I are planning to go to Vegas next year. I know I want to be super fit and trim for when I go... that way, when we go to the showgirls shows, I can be like "ppffttt... they got nothing on me".... hahaha, just kidding. But, really, Vegas is the place for sparkle and glam, and I want to feel glamorous when I go there.
