Mercy, i have met your challenge!!

for the abs i substituted (1 - i did 1 min wall squat. 2 - i did counter push ups, and final set i did 1 minute yoga tree pose).

I love your dare so much that i am totally stealing your idea! ps i love jillian too!

I dare you to do ....

3 minutes of cardio.

2 minutes of weights.

1 minute - holding any yoga pose. or simply standing on one foot.

repeat 3 times.

I will do this today!

push your heels to the ground, stick your booty out, and dont let your knee go over your toe. keep your toes pointed straight ahead - all these things will take the pressure of your knee. the more you stick your butt out the better.

Mr Tony Horton made us do it this morning !! - ie during my p90x legs workout on dvd that i did this morning.

it was great, so it thought i would torture you girls with it aswell!! hehehe

lol nope no reps. i simply want you to hold the weights - you're not going to move your arms, they will just be down by your side...

so just step up and down from your "step" for 10 minutes.

wow you girls are rocking it! sorry I was MIA today! i will do the dares and challenges on friday

i have the day off tommorow :) treating myself hehe. i finalised my thesis today. my examiners emailed me telling me my corrections are fine and all is excellent and i can now finally submit it. so just emailed it to my brother to get it printed.

so taking the day off tommorow and treating myself to a cinema trip and then meeting a friend for dinner.

but i will come back on friday and do all the dares!! :)

I did these after the hammer curls. Used 3 lb. weights.

okay next dare.

quick warm up:

do 2 minutes of jogging on the spot

then get prepared to burn!


With your feet pointing forwards, stand up tall and come up on your tip toes and hold for 1 second, then bring your heel down.then up again on your tip toes and hold for 1 second. repeat for a total of 10 reps. then without taking a break, continue this for 2 more sets of 10 reps.

>> so in total thats 3 sets of 10 reps. :devil:

its a very small movement, but get ready for your calves to BURN! they will be on FIRE :flame: infact your thighs might burn too!:devil:

Yeah I am starting with the Week 5 Dare Thread. I wrote down everything except the ones I can't do. The ones that will cause me injury. Like the Tri-cep dips, Wall Squats and the Running stuff. I can't run at all or walk on the treadmill because it hurts me old hips. All the running & c25k stuff I can do on the elliptical in the afternoons if Jess gets home early enuff. Week 5 plus this thread will keep me busy all week I think, LOL! I won't need the WATP's that for sure! :D

Okay, I've jotted down everything that I can. Some of the videos wouldn't open up for me, but I have MORE than enuff to keep my butt busy this week Plus whatever else gets posted. You girls are gonna kill me!!!!!

So, for my 1st Dare since I may not survive all this( hehe;) ):

Grab an exercise matt and do
