Hi everyone,

I've had a difficult past few days. As some of you may have seen in the 100lb club, I lost my dog recently, and it's been really hard for me. I was okay food-wise the first day, but then Friday I gave in and binged. I was totally in control, I just didn't care about anything, I was so sad. I thought it would just be one day, but here it is Sunday, and I've binged every day since Friday. I have a bunch of food here, and I know that I need to get rid of it.

I don't want to waste it though! I have it in my head that I can freeze it, and eat controled portions, but I know that this is a load of $%#. So I need you guys to remind me that sometimes, it's okay to waste food. It's so hard, I hate wasting food, mainly because of the money!

Tell me to throw it out!

Waste in garbage or Waist on you? You decide....

Okay, I chucked it. In the trash, topped with some dish soap. It was soooo hard! Such a waste. But like you said, not a waist, or a thigh, or a hip or an arm flab.

I feel better now that it's done. Now to brush my teeth for the night to seal the deal!

Good job Paris! I hate wasting food too, but you made the right call. And I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your doggie....that's a really hard situation so don't stress over letting your eating slip...

Just get back on track now!

Thanks everyone!

I'm so glad I did it too...on my way home tonight, I had the itch. I KNOW that had the food been in my fridge, I would have eaten it. But it's in the trash, and I prefer getting my dinner out of the fridge.

Sorry about your dog. :(

But you did good getting rid of the food. One thing I do when I make a lot of food (I love to cook and try new recipes!) is the freezing thing. Either that, or if I know I will be tempted, I take a container of cooking over to a friend. It's a plus to get it out of the house, and your friend, who is probably as busy as you are, gets a nice meal. :)
