Other Reduced Carb Diets - Anyone on the Rosedale Diet? (Doctor's recommendation)

It's a very strict low-carb plan but I'm potentially a very sick gal (diabetes, high BP, borderline cholesterol, signs of kidney distress, severely overweight, etc.), so I will try this, as it's what looks like it will work the fastest and the best :)

Dr. Rosedale's book is eye-opening, to say the least. Diet is based on correcting and controlling leptin and insulin. Fascinating stuff. Anyone else heard of this quasi-underground plan? My doctor said I can be off all my meds and stay off them in 3 months if I stick to this plan.

I am not on it, but it sounds really effective to me. I am worried about diabetes and high blood pressure (almost all women in my family have it). How can I find out more about this diet?

I haven't heard of it but if your doctor recommends it I would follow it. Let us know how it goes.
