A year ago today I ended my nasty 21 years, 2 pack a day cigarette smoking habit. I am excited :D

justaloozer posted me congratulations in the weight loss support forum but I also wanted to share with all my friends in this forum as well :)

Congrats to both Onederchic and Fitgirlygirl!

I am a smoker myself and know I need to quit... like yesterday. I made it for four days a few months ago, but then caved. One year is awesome.

How long did it take for the constant cravings to go away?

10-22-2009, 12:08 AM
In my case, I didn't have any cravings or withdrawals, thankfully. The only thing that bothered me was not holding a cigarette so much of the time and I just busied myself with other things so I didn't think about it and now I am fine as frog hair with it all :)

Lindifer - It took about 3-4 days for the constant craving to go away for me, the next week or so they were occasional, then they got very rare (once every 1-3 weeks) for a few months, and then they got gone.
