MRC has nutra bars and nutra shakes that can be used (but usually only on occasional circumstances and not the norm) to replace your meal. I enjoy the bars when I simply don't have time and opportunity to get my usual breakfast. So, that makes it special, as some of these bars are really tastey. I haven't tried any shakes yet though, so not sure on that.

On my plan, it reads: "Beginning Day 11, MRC Meal Replacements (nutra bars or shakes) may be used as breakfast or lunch omitting starch and protein or fruit and protein respectively. Meal replacement shakes may be used as dinner omitting starch and protein. Not to exceed 3 times per week. Do not consume a creamy (some soups / puddings) on the same day."

I am on the tan META-SLIM-PLUS menu until I get under 200 lbs, then I understand that I will change to a different menu.

Hope this might help.

Thanks for the info. I weighed in last night at 201 so she said I may just go to the green menu. Not sure what that consists of.

You're Welcome. It's a great plan. I really love it. Hardest part is just the first few days while getting acclamated, but then it all falls into a natural order. I couldn't be more pleased. Wish I had info on green menu -- I am sure you will get a little less than I do -- for instance, I get 6 oz of protein per meal, but I imagine you get 4. Still, it is a lot of protein. All the best. --Joy2MeNu

I'm on green menu. You get hard cheese at one meal only, up to 32 oz of diet soda (no sugar, sodium or caffeine), same 64 oz of water at least, one daily creamy, MRC option as mentioned above. Can have 2 extra HNS for total of 4/day and up to 3 mixed fruit fiber plus beverages/day.

Breakast-1 clear or creamy HNS, protein and starch
Lunch-1 clear or creamy HNS, protein, veg and fruit
Dinner--protein, veg and starch.

there are lists you go by at bottom of page...too much to type here..but hopefully gives you a picture. Protein sizes are 4 oz, for veggies you can do 4 oz cooked or 8 oz raw.

I like the cinnamon bar at breakfast, it's like having a danish. I usually cut it up so it takes me longer to eat it.

They are higher in calories like the puddings and creamy soups so they don't want you to have too many of them..

I love the cinnamon ones -- heat in the microwave for about 10 seconds and yummy! They are limited because they have a higher carb content.
