Here we go - a new challenge!

Everyone is welcome to join in. :D

Just post your starting weight (SW) and your goal weight (GW).

Log in as often as you like and post your current weight (CW).

First person to reach their 5 lb loss goal weight wins and gets to start the next thread for the next 5 lb challenge!

YOu ladies area all doing a great job.

Lori--Those chocolate cravings get me when TOM is in town. I made brownies for the girls at work the last TOM go around and found myself picking at them. It was good though, cause I would usually make them and find myself eating half of them before I got to work. Now, I only had little bit while at work.

MSP--it will happen. The body just has to readjust to things. Move stuff around a little. I had that problem with the 250-253 thing. Took 2 weeks and now it is just going down down. you will get there. Maybe the 0.8 was just the beginning of the decrease. Keep up your hard work!!!!

Cool. I've actually had several days of the scale moving down little bit by little bit. That's been great since I'm trying to really plan meals and eat OP to go with my exercising. In fact, I've been OP for probably the longest streak I've had in months. Yay!

Sitting on 246.0 but that is ok. I had a great workout today at the gym. Even after the cold that I had (which is finally resolving) I was able to run my c25k right where I left off and then run with the doggie!!! Woohoo!!! So tomorrows weigh in at the doctor should be interesting. I also get the results of my Cholesterol test. First one ever. I am curious.

But here is the best news. Today I stood naked in front of DH for the first time in years. And that is not an exageration. I felt comfortable. We talked about the changes in my shape and all that good stuff. It was great. :)

So, I am not sure who said this one but I am stealing this quote.

Dieting is what we do to look good in our clothes. Exercise is what we do to look good naked.

I still have a long way to go, but these NSV are sure great. What a motivator.

You girls are all doing awesome and I really do feel that this is gonna be a quick challenge.

I have so many things to say to so many of my fellow peeps. unfortunately I just don't know where to start, so here is the beginning.

Thanks to all of the support that I have gotten over the past 2 months. Yes I had the OMG 2 months ago and since then have dropped 32 pounds. No more bread, potatoes, fries or rice or pasta for me. I haven't had a sour patch kid since the 16th of August. Although there have been a few treats along the way it has been this group of people that has helped me the most. I am accountable to myself yes, but I also feel accountable to the peeps. I read the posts and have joined the challenges and have found so much encouragement and information to help me to stay focused. And for this I thank you all so much.

I had a great visit with doctor yesterday. Scale was up alittle at the office, but hello, I had 2 meals and 2 liters of water by the time I was there, plus the workout on tuesday had me tight and sore all over. I got a script from him for 4 weeks of PT so that will be good. My right hip gets so tight with running. Part of it is residual from a previous surgery. I went back to my old therapist. She is awesome. I am hoping to do some true body work with her. Lots to learn. :) So that is all scheduled and ready to start next tuesday. I made my second trip to the gym today. Man, I am really kicking c25k in the *SS!!!!!! I love it. I hit the bike, the elliptical worked on my triceps abbs and inner and outer thighs and then did my c25k workout on the treadmill. I didn't care what anyone thought about the fat girl pounding on the treadmill or how everything still jiggled. All I thought about was me. I pushed myself!!! Tomorrow will be another cardio day with some BL weightloss yoga. Need to reconnect with BOB!!!!

Scale was up to 246.6 today and that is ok. Had some chicken mcnuggest last night. Carb count not too high, but still not the best choice. should have had nothing. Goal for this month 239. It is there in my sight. I want it and need your help to get it!!!!

Nella NEw DECADE!!!! HIP HIP HOrray!!!! THose are my favorite days. Congrats and keep on goin!!!

Krista -2.6 I got some work to do to catch up to you. Great numbers. You are doing a good job. Keep up the hard work and stay focused. Who knows. you may be starting the next challenge.

Losing4another/B] angieang My husband actually pushed himself away from me because of my weight and size. He was hurt that I was not taking care of myself and was embarrased at how big I was. Now that I look back and am working through the emotional part I was too!!! I let my size limit me. I haven't lived in over 8 years. Now I feel as if I am taking my life back!! I would hide or make him leave or close the door. I finally realized today that I don't care. So now, I don't hide or make him close his eyes. I just do my thing!!! I mentioned it to Doctor when I was there yesterday and he said, that I made a huge step and was accepting my body and that the psychological barriers that I was putting up, I was now working through.

MsP The dieting is nice, but I am loving what exercise is doing to my body!!! Makes me want more. TOday I had a great gym day and really didn't want to stop, but I knew that I would pay for it in the am.

Put me in the category with those others who are up from yesterday. I was also OP and within my cals, but I had a very salty supper and not enough water in the evening. That and TOM coming yesterday (makes me more sensitive to sodium) has done me in. I better be back to normal tomorrow!

Ok, I am up too!!! But I know what it is. Chicken Nuggets. I am starting to sabotage my self. So I will stop. Stopped and got them again last night. UGH!!! Not sure whiy. Just did. Can't keep doing it. I also ran/walked hard for over 30 minutes yesterday and can still feel the sore. That little bit of up is ok. But the darn Chicken nuggets that is what is killing me.

Thanks ladies for the congrats! It seems to be sticking! I was down another half pound this morning.

Jellofer - that is a true breakthrough! It is soooooo hard for a lot of women (including myself) to be comfortable in their own skin. But that is what it is all about. We have to love ourselves enough to take pride in us! And of course take care of ourselves. Truly inspirational! Thanks for sharing your experiences. :)

Down a pound since the last time i checked in, but I'm nervous about the next couple of days. I'm visiting home and I'm afraid that my old habits are going to show up again...I was down to 203 in May when I came home for the summer.....and then I gained it all back & then some...I just get in a routine when I'm home where food is ever flowing and all my friends want to go to fatty restaurants.

I've got to try to change that, but it's so hard. I did go on a four mile walk earlier today & some abdominal exercises. I don't think I'm going to lose weight while I'm here (till Tuesday), I'll of course try, but I'll hope for maintaining the weight while I'm home.

Ladies, I almost had a slight heartattack this morning! I got on the scale without my contacts and I thought it read 269.8! :lol: I ate my cheat meal yesterday but really, a 8 lb gain?!

I think it caused that leg cramp at 3am on purpose so I would have to get up and eat yogurt to make the pain stop. Which of course gave me a higher WI than yesterday. :dz: But, I still managed to lose 4.4 this week in total so I'm good. Someone, hit your goal today and end this thing!
