Hello,

I asked the administrators to move me to this forum because I feel a camaraderie with you. Being in my 50's, I know there are challenges we face regarding weight loss. Working around those, and finding success is a good feeling for those of us of a certain age!

Like many of you, I have lost weight and regained it. At this time, I am losing again. Weight loss is slower for me now than it was in my 20's and 30's, but as long as the scale numbers are moving downward, I'm happy.

About me: I'm a retired Human Resources Director, happily married, and live in the country. DH Neal and I have 3 grown children, and 8 grands. We like to travel when we can, and especially enjoy time with family.

This forum seems full of friendship, support, and encouragement, and I'm glad to be a part of it. If I can help you, as your moderator, please let me know.

Thank you,

Hi Jane,

Welcome. Please feel free to jump into either/both of our daily conversations - the ones with the stars - and into our Halloween Challenge tread - really more about daily accountability than about a contest.

Hi Jane. So glad you've moved here with the more wise and mature chicks on the boards. :D I'm sure you'll get to know most of us quite well.

:welcome: Hi Jane, thanks for introducing yourself. Nice to have a moderator close to our age. I personally count calories like you, been on every new diet on the market and always come back to counting calories. It's a no brainer!

Hi, Jane:
I'm sorry for posting this basic "how to" question here, but didn't know where else to post it. I would like to put something under my name. For example, Countingdown has "Maintaining" and you have "Moderator" under your name. I tried to fill in something but it didn't work. Also, as you know, I am eagerly counting the time for my weight-loss tracker-ticker to show up. Will it do so automatically or do I have to go to my profile section and set it up? I set it up when I first joined, but of course it is too early for it to show up. Thank you.

Hi AuntBea,

To add a note under your name, click on User CP in the blue bar at the top of this page. Then click on Edit Profile. Then look at the page for "Custom User Title". Type in whatever it is you want to say, then scroll way down and click on Save Changes. Voila! There you go!

To find out all about tickers, click here (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/announcements-forum-help/203435-ultimate-one-stop-signature-ticker-thread-read-here-if-you-have-questions.html).

Hope this helps! :)
