Default 1st day on atkins

Hi,

I tried atkins before but only lasted a little while because I really do like my bread..im in desperate need to lose 18lbs by mid Dec for Christmas season. I am currently 132lbs and want to be 114lbs. I have read that some people have lost alot of weight in the first week of induction and some more weight loss in the second week. At my current weight (im 5ft 6'')how many lbs do u think I will lose in the first 2 weeks?

Also this is what I am planning to eat daily: Please let me know if this is correct for induction?

B: 2 egg whites and slice of cheese
Snack: Atkins chocolate bar that has 2 net grams of carb
L: Tuna salad - can I eat tomatoes and olives?
D: Miso Soup and 2 egg whites and slice of cheese

Thanks for your help x
It would be nice to hear your stories/experiences of induction

to Atkins!

To answer your question, of course, everyone is different as far as how much weight they lose on Induction & how quickly they lose it. Typically, the less you have to lose, the slower you lose it.
Have you read the book?
Atkins is a high fat plan. Not sure why you would be eating only egg whites....unless of course, you like them. And you may want to avoid the Atkins bars....despite what the label says....they aren't appropriate for Induction.... http://www.phlaunt.com/lowcarb/19059967.php
Tomato's are allowed as well as olives, 10 green or 6 black. Miso soup is not permitted.
You might want to have a look at this site for some guidance....http://www.veronicaatkinsfoundation.org/
All the best to you!!!

I am doing Atkins '72 and am happy with my results so far. It is pretty strict but I am really liking the strictness. It keeps me from cheating.

JA23, I agree with Kim, you really need to get the book, there's so much information in there that you really need in order to make this WOE successful.
