I thought I already did this, but it seems to have disappeared into cyperspace. Wonder where it ended up... Anyway, just getting things started here this morning.
It looks like I'm going to be a week behind on the running challenge with Kirsty. My ankle is still really bothering me (from where I fell down the stairs Tuesday -- doh!) and since I need to be on my feet all day to deal with Aaron, I'm going to just bump it back a week.
Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hi Jayne (and everyone who is posting or going to!). I hope your ankle is feeling better soon. Anyway, I may actually have to drop a week in the running challenge as I'm going camping week after next and not sure if there will be suitable terrain to run on. So we can all three be behind a week together:dizzy: As long as we finish it, right?
I took the dog for a big long walk last night. And I had planned on doing my running this morning, but the alarm did not go off. ERG! So I guess I will be doing that this evening. I know if I exercise in the morning, I'm more likely to do it than in the evening, but lately I am having way too much trouble getting up. I suppose I should try getting to bed earlier:dz: Ah well. As long as I do it. And, I AM going to do my strength training tonight, so I want everyone to feel free to remind me to do it so I don't slack off (because I am terrible about doing that---hate those lunges).
Ok, I'm off. Hope everyone is having a lovely day!

Jayne - I'm sorry you hurt yourself! That bites. Definately take a rest off of it, so you don't injur it more.
Pj -Sorry the jobs no good today. That seems to happen to me a lot.
Cat - I do it in the afternoon too. SOmetimes I just want to go home and relax... but I can't get up that early to do it in the morning. Remember: ST tonight!! :) Thanks for your advice yesterday.. I was shocked people were still posting.
Getting so hungry. I'm craving fatty foods... I want Mexican or something. My salad I brought for lunch isn't sounding too appetizing. UGH. I've also been craving sunny side up eggs, bacon and hash browns lately. I'm not sure why - but it's just been particularly rough lately. There are times when I eat so healthy that I can't even think of fattening foods... and then I'll start craving them big time. UGH UGH UGH. I think maybe I'll have a big breakfast this weekend at a NYC diner and get it out of my system? Or is that just a cop out?

hello cat, jayne, pj and the rest of you girls,
it's almost the weekend - hooray! i just went to the post office and picked up some euros for my trip to amsterdam. very exciting!
belle - i stayed in the flying pig hostel a few years ago! spooky. my friends and i got lucky and had a small dorm - only 4 beds and en suite. so no dodgy strangers. it was alright but i'd much rather stay in a posh hotel!
i've had friends that started WW and stopped going before they got to goal as well. without fail every single one of them put the weight back on (and more in some cases!). one friend rejoined and is almost at goal now. i think she didn't have the right motivation the first time round. this time though, she's going to get there. i know it's hard without a buddy, but maybe you can make a buddy there?
jen - i hope you're feeling better about TB today. big hug.
and if you don't feel better tomorrow go out and have a good time and you soon will.
tonya - belated birthday greetings!!
KT - i was looking at your stats- you've done so well!
jess - no idea what i'm going to do in amsterdam. catch up with BF. :o  i'd like to visit anne frank's house because i didn't have time on my last visit, and BF wants to go to van gogh museum. apart from that lots of drinking and eating i expect. a friend from australia (who is working in the UK at the moment) is going to be in amsterdam this weekend as well so we are going to try and meet up. hope our cellphones work!!
oh there are so many folk i want to respond to and i have to go do some work. hi to everyone i missed and hopefully i'll get back on later,
kirsty
ps jayne - have you been to the doc about your ankle? hope it gets better soon.

hi lisa and kierie, and especially jenl! we miss you lots. hope you're ok.

kierie - hope you feel better today.

I may need some help from someone who knows what they're doing with computers. I've been trying to post a picture of Aaron on the photo thread and I can see the picture, but when I go back to it, it just shows a path to my desktop. I suspect it's because hubby switched our whole computer to Linux (grrr!) and it just isn't meshing with stuff here. Suggestions, anyone?
Cat, you WILL do your strength training tonight, young lady (or else!) We can have a slacker's running challenge, maybe... hehe
Morning PJ...hope you like your job better by the end of the day!
Hi Jen. Would it help you work through some things to do some posting? I'm sorry things are rough for you. I am originally from Wisconsin, too...nice to see a fellow cheesehead around here!
And Miss Lisa, I think that if you have a big NY diner breakfast it will cure you of wanting it anymore. I remember when I lived out there that every time I let myself have one of those, I got sick-feeling afterward and I couldn't do it again for at least a few months. Do you think that some of your cravings could be TOM related? Would something like the fat-free chips (WOWs) trick your body into thinking it's getting what it craves, and yet keep you on track? Just a thought...When I have a bad Mexican craving, I get the WOW either Tostitos or Doritos,low-fat cheese, and that Louis Rich grilled chicken breast trip package, and I make chicken nachos. Dab a little FF sour cream on top, and you feel like it's such a treat! Hope this helps...

Good morning ladies! Its almost Friday, Thank Goodness!!!
Well, not much going on with me. I went out with my bf last night, drank way too much, but luckily I am feeling pretty good this morning, but wait til this afternoon, that is when I will be dragging!!
The upside is we went to our favorite pizza place last night, and I only had a few chips for dinner, that was it. The downside is I probably had 15 points in just drinks last night!!!! Oh well, starting over today!
Jen ~ We are here for you girl! We have really missed you!!

Morning, Kier...I saw sex and the city, and it was awesome...I was shocked to discover that I am Miranda now...
Morning, Kirsty...I don't think I'm going to go in to the Dr. for the ankle...I sprained it in HS playing basketball, and ever since it's weak and turns easily, so we go through this every few months. I have an air cast for it if it gets bad enough, but so far rest seems to be doing the trick.

Well... since everyone asked... I am doing OK, just not great. Am having terrible luck with getting PG again. Gained back about 8 pounds, but am on track and have been maintaining the last couple of weeks. Yah me!! I think I am more frustrated than anything.
Little Emma is doing GREAT! She is 22 months now and such a big girl. I am updating our website and will post the link to it soon. Actually I am starting from scratch with a new free site because I lost access to my old one and can't update it anymore. Pain in the butttt!!!
I will try to resurrect the recipe threads that I so diligently tried to keep going.... I decided that I have WAYYYYYYY TOOOO MANNNNY recipes. I have piles and piles that I have gleaned off of websites and emails. YIKES.

Hi everyone-I have time for a quick post-I made it to the gym again last night for another aerobics/body sculpting class-yikes! It was killer! We used a resist-a-ball to do abs and i fell off! It was hysterical-my ball went rolling across the floor...I was so embarassed but i am so klutzy that I am used to doing things like that-I felt like one of the non popular girls in those teeny bopped movies about high school-where the girls are in gym class and all of the popular ones are dressed in matching gym outfits and are in terrific shape, and then there are these klutzy overweight girls in cutoff sweats being clumsy(i work out at Bally's among the beautiful people-not good for the self esteem but definitely good motivation!
DH thought the story was hysterical-but he is used to me..on our second date we went to Walmart and i was pushing tha cart and standing on the back of it and i flipped the entire thing over and landed on my *ss in the middle of Walmart-I wanted to die I was so mortified-he still teases me about it:lol:
Hi everyone!
Jen-L-welcome back-we missed you!
Lisa-When I have cravings like that I try to give in a little bit-like you can cook yourself two eggs over easy with lite toast and some turkey bacon and maybe get around the craving...
Tonya-way to avoid the pizza-just think-it could have been pizza AND drinks-I alos choose the drinks over food-hmmm..what does that say about me?
Kirsty-have fun in Amsterdam-I loved it-we went to the Van Gogh museum-it's cool...

Lori   I laughed hard when I read your post. THat sounds fun. But don't be silly... I saw your pictures... you are one of those beautiful people at Ballys! I might try that with breakfast. Agh - i wish my cravings would go away!
Kirsty - I know... I was one of those people. Stopping before goal. Not thins time!
Jayne - I think that's a great idea.. I might make my own mexican stuff for dinner tonight if I can get through the day without giving in to my cravings... although I'm worried I won't make it through the day. AGH!
Jen - it's so great having you back. I hate that you're having problems getting pg. I worry about that - although I'm sure that's a long ways away.
Tonya - way to go at the pizza place.
KO - MMmmmm that cake sounds good. Good to hear you didn't do so bad. I hope Miranda takes Steve back too - he's such a cutie!

Holy Moly, what a busy board today! I'm glad it has been, it's so much fun when it is. I've been working dilligently today and am just stopping for a few minutes to respond to everyone before I crack the whip on myself again. I had to re-commit myself to work because I haven't hardly done anything and boss will be back in the office in about a week and if she asks what I did while she was gone, I don't think I can say "3 Fat Chicks WW 20's Message Board"... :)
Quick Question--Does anyone know how many points a bag of Orville Redenbacher's Smart Pop popcorn is? From what I can tell, it looks like it's only 2 points for the whole bag, is that right?
WI is tonight, I hope it goes well. I've been OP for the most part, with the exception of Sunday's Binge-Drinking BBQ. I went to the gym 4 times last week, 2 times so far this week and did Pilates on Monday (which totaly kicked my ***). Eating has been good, so I can't see any reason that I would be up, other than my impending TOM. A girl from work is going to be meeting me there, so I know at least one person will talk to me. :D
KT--You asked yesterday who writes the Outlander series. The answer is Diana Gabaldon.
Jayne--Hope your ankle is feeling better soon! Ankle pain sucks. My BF is about 6'5", weighs about 260 and one night, we were being silly while we were on a walk and he somehow managed to step on my ankle. It hasn't been the same since, but at least it doesn't hurt. If you want to post a picture of Aaron, maybe you could email it to me and I could see if I can post it for you--I don't have a hubby messing with my computer here at work. :) PM me and I'll give you my email, if you want to do that.
PJ--Hope everything gets better at work for you! I get frustrated with mine at least everyday, but still somehow enjoy my job...
Cat--There is no excuse for you not to strength train tonight. So get that skinny behind in there and get it out of the way. Then go home and reward yourself however you see fit.
Jen--Hey, darlin'! Glad to see you posting. I tried the recipe you posted for chocolate cookies over the weekend and determined that I am a terrible baker. I'm going to have to try them again--I was low on flour and baking powder, so that might have been why it didn't work out so well for me. :o Yes, definitely post lots of recipes--I collect them. (I have to call it collecting them because I usually don't actually make them).
Lisa--I don't think that having a big breakfast is a cop out. Sometimes you just have to give into your craving. Chances are that once you give in, you won't want it again for a very long time. Just don't go totally overboard, but I don't think I even needed to tell you that. ;)
Kier--Hope you're feeling 100% better. And darn it, I missed Sex and the City, even after I promised myself that I'd remember to watch it on Sunday. When I missed that, I promised myself I'd watch it last night and forgot that, too. I can't wait to see Goldmember!! I think it comes out on Friday, doesn't it?
Kirsty--Oh yes, most definitely catch up on that lost time with BF. How long has he been gone? (I know you told us but I can't remember). And have a wonderful time, that's the most important thing to do! :)
Tonya--Way to go avoiding the pizza, that's never easy! And 15 points in drinks isn't so bad, considering how high in points drinks are! And, just be glad that you don't go out and do that every Friday and Saturday.
Lori--Oh, I wish you and I worked out together--we'd both fall off our balls together and just be clutzes together! Your WalMart story is hilarious! I was practically rolling on the floor!
OK, I know people have probably posted while I've been typing up this monster, so hello to all!

Wow - busy board again.
I'm so glad my co-workers are back. Oh, and ME! I got a six week extension in which time they are supposed to post the position and I will apply for it and as long as no one with the exact same qualifications and more senority applys, the job is all mine - we'll see.
I got my car back last night to (1800 dollars later - :fr: )
well, at least I have transportation now.
PJ - I love this board too - and I'm a carb addict - I deal with it by not having them in the house.
Jess - thanks for the author, I'll head to the library tonight. Have fun at WI.
Lisa- bacon is not high points - 2pts for 3 strips I think - so I say, go for it (although I would do the poached egg thing) and get it out of your system.
Kier - sounds like a great cake - I need one for my girlfriend's shower this weekend and 1/2 the people there are on WW - I guess I could do angel food and low fat cool whip. Hope you're feeling better.
Lori - that's funny. Mums always warn their kids that can happen - you never think it would. I'm glad you can laugh about it now.
Hi Jen (welcome back) - can't wait to see the picts of Emma, she must be getting big.
Jayne - Hope your ankle feels better soon.

Goodness girls! TOns o' posts!
Jess - good luck at WI. I bet it will be good news. Let us know. And I think the whole bag is either 2 poitns or 4. I can't remember... either way, what a good deal.
KT - good luck with the job and sorry about the car.
And ladies... I apologize for being so self-centered lately... I'm just so new to this. So I told Brian that I'd rather do lunch closer to work so I could get off at a good time (he wanted to make me lunch at his house... but I was worried about that so I suggested that we not do that)... so guess what he's planned now. A pic-nic at this park near work. Ladies... he really is perfect... I don't know what my problem is. He might win me over yet. He's bringing wine, cheese, strawberries and sandwhiches from a deli near work. I asked what I could bring and he said "yourself."

It's not you, Jess:D
PJ, it's good that you have the insite and self-control to do what you need to do if you're a carb-addict. I'm not sure I'd be strong enough.
Kier, I used to BE Charlotte. You know, a little naive, always wanting to see the good side of people and refusing to see the bad...then I saw Miranda's boobs and had my big epiphany! She's going to have to marry Steve...just to deal with the "help" if nothing else
Lori, your story is why I don't have the guts to go to the aerobics classes at my gym...tht would so be me! As for Wal-Mart, I'm willing to bet that just about everyone has an embarassing Wal-Mart story in their repetoire.
Jen, that's wonderful that you are maintaining...keep up the good work there. I don't know if you know my story or not, but if you don't, read the thread about what motivates you to lose weight. I too had a LOT of trouble getting pregnant (Aaron is really a miracle baby) and I know how anxious and frustrating it all is. The best you can do is try to stay positive (my OB told me that negative thinking can have a hormonal effect that adversely affects fertility) and enjoy the heck out of Emma in the meantime. Good luck!
Tonya, your night sounds like fun...I'd take the drinks over pizza any night. The only trouble is, if I had all the drinks, I'd find myself eating the pizza without really being aware...
Lisa, you WILL make it through the day! I'm sending you the dancing banana to inspire your cravings towards fruits and veggies! :cb:
Jess, smart pop is indeed 2 points per bag if memory serves me correctly. I'm glad you're going to have a WW buddy...makes life easier. I just got a Pilates video from my sister, and I'm inspired by you to try it as soon as I think my ankle can hold me up alone. I wonder if it's the same video you have? It's called Precision Toning. LMK...
Ok, I'm going to try to (with Jess's help, thank you) get that picture of Aaron's spaghetti face posted! Later!

KT, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you about the job. Sorry to hear about your car repair costs, but it was cheaper than a new car, I guess.
Tonya, I thought maybe you and hubby were having a "date night" so you were calling him boyfriend. I'm sure he's glad to hear that you don't have a side order. Hehe, same initials, big difference, I guess...
PJ, DH stands for dear husband and a lurker is someone who just comes in and reads but doesn't post.
