.....for me to join Featherweights? I feel funny saying that because I still weigh in the 190's but I really only want to lose another 15-20 pounds. So what do you think? Is it time for me to consider the Featherweights forum?

I would say yes but I'm still new around here ;)

Well done on your weight loss!

Oh yes!

It took me years to realise that the 'feather' part is a reference to birds, chicks ... ya know? chicks like the 3F kind ;) Not just teeny tiny women :D

LOL Susan, yeah, I feel like people are going to look at me at 5'11" in my size 14 jeans and snicker....."What's SHE doing in featherweights!???" But I don't feel like I can talk about being freaked out because my jeans are getting too big in some of the other forums, y'know? I wouldn't have liked that too much when I stumbled in here in January, unhappy and desperate and 50 pounds heavier. But I need to talk about stuff like that sometimes!

hiya Windchime - I just came over too! I know what you mean - the conversation does definitely change, and since I never even made it to the Obese category, I always felt just a little out of place. I never had life-threatening urgency to lose weight, and there's still some forums where I feel pretty invisible. This seems like a great spot to get rid of the last pesky pounds!

I don't think it has much to do with your actual size or weight. It's more about how much you have to lose, because losing the last 10 or 20 pounds can be a different experience than when you start out. So it sounds like you're in the perfect place!

Thanks for the warm welcome, chickies! I may end up needing to lose more, but we'll see how I feel when this next 15 comes off. I want to look good and feel slim, but don't want to have it be too difficult to have to maintain. So we shall see!
