I didn't have the opportunity to record my weight while I was working out to the dvds, but this is my all-time favorite workout! It makes you VERY sore - but you always feel better after its over so its worth working through it.

I didn't lose very much weight, just a couple pounds. Which I think is kinda common. BUT - my strength and endurance improved immensely, I started to get cut muscles on my legs. Definitely lost back fat. But my body doesn't seem to be interested in losing weight, gaining muscle - yes.

festivas,

I know what you mean. I'm on day 21 of my diet/30 minute excercise a day plan. The scale is not moving the way I want but I do feel stronger and my husband says that my waist looks thinner. Wish I could loose the back fat-it's my least fav part of my body right now. Well, that and the double chin. Know any excercises for that? :)

I've lost 40 pounds in 18 weeks by eating 1500 calories a day, walking about an hour a day, and doing the Shred.

I've been doing it for about 2 weeks. I haven't lost much weight but my body is definitely more toned and I've lost a pant size already. Also it completely melts back fat!!

I lost 10 lbs the first time through (combined with eating 1400-1600 calories a day). And then I lost 9 lbs the second time through. After that I had to switch it up a bit so I wouldn't get bored. I'm shredding again now. It's a great workout.

I haven't been weighing myself but my body has changed a lot and its only Day 11 for me. I updated my blog with Day 10 progress pics (in sidebar)! I'm thrilled with how its going so far.

I just started 30DS. Today was day 3 on level one and my thighs and upper arms are so sore I can barely move...lol I really thought I was in good shape...I've lost 185 pounds so far, walk miles a week, do lots of lifting and other physical activity, but after the first 10 minutes I thought I was going to die. ;) I started the shred because it's been so rainy and gloomy outside I couldn't get out and do my daily work, so I thought I should compensate somehow. I'm only looking to lose a few more pounds, and maintain. Over the winter it would be nice to do the shred maybe a couple times a day as my primary workout...like level one before breakfast and level 3, (if I can make it without dying) in mid-afternoon before kids come home from school.

Well I did Level 1 for the first time today and it was good! I had to pause a couple of times during the side lunges/lateral raises and the squat/press move but I'll get there!

I've been doing the 30DS for about 3 weeks now. I'm very diligent about doing it 5 days a week. I've lost about 5-6 pounds now. But like everyone else, I've really noticed that I have more muscle definition than ever before. I'm glad that I'm gaining muscle, because a pound of muscle burns 6 calories a day, whereas a pound of fat only burns 2. I would like to kick my cardio up a notch soon, and thanks to Jillian my endurance is so much more than it was.

P.S. Even though I've been doing 30DS for 3 weeks I'm STILL on Level 1. I really don't think it's appropriate to move on to Level 2 until I feel like I'm really ready for it.

I started doing 30ds on exercise tv for free. It did a lot for my arms and legs but not much for my abs and I haven't lost any weight, although I do agree with everyone that it is challenging, but it seems to me that you really have to get more cardio in to lose weight and of course diet. I've been combining the tapes with running or biking. I really need at least an hour of cardio. And I always thought you were suppose to do strength training every other day, so I am confused are you suppose to do it every day? I was thinking of alternating with pilates or yoga.
