Weight Loss Surgery - tmi maybe but .. bowel movements ?

Ok so a week out of surgery and I have them (yay) but should I be worried if they are dark (to black)?

not at this point. mine were black for about a week (and rather plentiful considering I had no food coming in)....

it's old blood from the surgery I've been told.

okay.. I didn't think it would be anything to worry about, but thought I would check. mine are few .. but I am okay with that for the moment. I will worry when I start putting in soft foods.

Iron supplements will also make your stools blackish.
