Mini-Goals - ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TODAY-- but I am not at goal

Today is my one year anniversary for starting this JOURNEY. However, let me get this off my chest..... I did not get to the goal I wanted to be at.... but it is my fault and I know what I have to do to correct it.
If I would have done this thread yesterday it would have been a pity party, but today is different. I met with my bootcamp leader and we did my measurements. I have lost 75 inches in a year! That is OVER 6 feet! When we saw that number---- he turned to me and asked me who was going to feel sorry for me that I "only" lost 75 inches. So..... I am holding my head up high.... and I am going after these last pounds with a vengence.
I don't have a pic on here..... well b/c I am not computer savvy and I don't know how to attach one......
I feel much better since I made my "confession" about not making my goal and knowing that I have put it in writing that I WILL make it by the end of the year!
Thanks for listening.

You have lost 75 inches and 73 pounds! That is amazing and something to be very proud of! So what if you didn't lose all the weight you wanted to lose by your one year anniversary? It doesn't lessen the fact that you have made substantial progress. I think the weight loss journey is a marathon, not a race.
Congratulations on your accomplishment! You have come so far.
Cheers,
J

You have made an amazing amount of progress!!! Congrats on your one year anniversary and I'm certain that you'll meet your goal in no time. Plus, think, if you hadn't started on this journey a year ago you'd still be 70something lbs heavier and 75 inches larger. Look how much you've accomplished in just one year of your life.

you are kicking some major butt. I have been at this 9 months and only lost 25 lbs and I know it is ONLY my fault. After reading this I have to kick it into high gear. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!

Burgandy, the main thing I can tell you is don't give up! I got another pep talk about slow and steady this AM..... you don't want to have all the excess skin..... so slower is better. I will get there. My goal is by the end of the year!
I wish you the best!
I am very appreciative of all the support I have gotten here.

I agree with this!!!
you have done an amazing job and are an inspiration to those of us .. ahem.. like me... who are worried that a year is a LOOOOOOONG time of being vigilant and disciplined after so many years of NOT being so.
Congrats!

Your accomplishment is simply amazing. You are losing at a very reasonable, healthy rate and 73 inches is--well, wow. That's all I can say. And just the fact that you've stuck with it for a year is a bigger accomplishment than many people will be able to achieve. Congratulations!

This thread is a prime example of great support! I have done many fad diets in the past...... but I am determined to keep it off this time. I appreciate all of the outstanding advise and encouragement.
I am working to get the rest off and to live a BALANCED healthy life!
Thanks ladies!

You may have not reached your goal yet, but you will! And believe me when I say it is a goal in itself being able to stick to a diet for an entire year, even if you've had slip-ups every now and again!
Congratulations on your wonderful progress!
