B: smoothie, coffee
S: apple w/ light laughing cow, string cheese
L: grilled chicken salad
S: lf vanilla yogurt w/ blueberries & go lean crunch, trail mix
D: ground chicken breast over rice, broccoli
S: peanut butter graham cracker or yogurt w/ kashi

I got to move my ticker!! Down!! Woohoo!!!

Today:
protein pancakes with blueberries
eggs/veggies/beans/chile
greek yogurt
turkey/avocado/maybe a slice of bread
dinner will be a family dinner....I'll stick to salad (which ain't much of a dinner, hence the turkey/avocado/bread snack) and pass on the cake

Exercise---eeeks. There will be some. Not sure how it will shake out yet. DS is home sick with a fever, cough, body aches....some kids at his school had the H1N1 virus last week so that's likely it. I'm a little hesitant to take off on a run instead of sticking around here plying him with juice and tylenol.

Hi folks,

I am still BEAT from the wedding this weekend. My eating wasn't perfect but I had a 2 hour cardio dancing session at the reception and the scale said I did just fine. And my wedding reception plate was half filled with veggies, I only ate one wedding cupcake, etc. Not too shabby! But my legs are still sore from the dancing in heels. We had so much fun and we're just filled over with joy for our good friends.

Busy, busy, busy week, culminating in taking off for Paris next Sunday! Can't believe we're at under a week left!

Plan for today:

B - French toast w/ apple butter
S - Asian Pear
L - Leftover lean beef and veggie chili
S - Popcorn
D - Pork and long bean stirfry, brown and wild rice
S - NSA Ice Cream

E - 60 min cardio

Amanda - I'm so jealous of your trip! I loved Paris and would love to go back with more time, and old enough to appreciate things. Have a great time!

Yesterday was OP calorie wise - I switched out my dinner and evening snack to ground chicken breast tacos & cracker jack. Still stayed under my calorie range so that is good. And I had a great workout when I got home, so that is good, too.

Today:
E: cardio day - either treadmill or elliptical when I get home. Hope to get to the park on Thursday evening.
B: smoothie, coffee, chocolate milk (and not the good kind... the fancy concoction we sell here with whole milk/skim milk/cream/chocolate/enough sugar to kill a person)
S: string cheese, grapes
L: grilled chicken salad or half wrap and soup, depends on how I feel after taking the accounts payable to the post office
S: yogurt w/ blueberries & kashi
D: turkey sausage over rice, broccoli
S: peanut butter graham cracker

Scale is NOT happy. Think I've not had enough water to both rehydrate from the wedding AND counteract the Pho on Sunday and stirfry last night. I'm pushing the water hard today.

B - High fiber english muffin, PB, sliced Asian pear
S - Watermelon
L - Leftover pork and long bean stirfry, brown rice
S - Popcorn
D - Grilled chicken salad w/ lots of grilled veggies
S - NSA Ice Cream

E - 60 min cardio, 60 min strength

Yay, yesterday went exactly OP! And exercise was really good once I dragged my sorry self to the gym.....

B - 2 scrambled eggs, 1/2 banana, 1/2 eng muffin w/pb
S - cottage cheese, cantalope
L - turkey sandwich, homemade veggie soup
S - apple, sharp cheddar
D - I have a new Thai recipe with chicken I want to try, with rice, and probably salad

Ex: Cardio

I've gone up half a pound per day since Friday. I know it is water retention from sodium, and have had 12-14 glasses of water every day since Sunday. I also just keep piling on the sodium. I don't get it... And tomorrow won't be any better because I had some for lunch from a deli around the corner. Blah.

Lots of water weight.

Had a scary, scary night last night. Was asleep and was woken up with a stabbing pain in (what felt like) my chest. Got up and walked a bit, and it focused back on the shoulderblade. I think my shoulder had a rough evening, and the pain got referred forward into my chest, but for a second, I genuinely believed I was dying. But I'm not dead (though I am still in pain! Not sure what I did but the shoulder is definitely not happy...frustrating since I leave for vacation on Sunday).

B - LC Tortilla, 1 tbsp natural PB, apple butter
S - Watermelon
L - Leftovers: Grilled chicken and veggie salad
S - Popcorn
D - Aidells Chicken Sausage, Roasted Veggie, FiberGourmet pasta with tomato sauce
S - NSA Ice Cream

E - 75 min cardio, possibly some yoga.

Oh my the Thai receipe was goood! It came out more like a soup. I suspect it was thinner because I used light coconut milk instead of the regular, but the taste was great. :) Recipe is here: Thai Jungle Curry (http://thepioneerwoman.com/tasty-kitchen/recipes/main-courses/thai-jungle-curry/)

B - oatmeal with raisins, walnuts, skim; 1/2 sprouted flax bagel with pb; :coffee:
S - cottage cheese with strawberries
L - veggie soup (homemade) with chicken sausage
S - apple, 1 oz sharp cheddar
D - out with GFs, probably salad

Yesterday came in OP, even with my crazy snacking all afternoon. Got in exercise and everything. Probably no exercise today - DH & DSS are both home sick right now...

Today:
B: smoothie, coffee (though I just now drank the coffee, so was it really breakfast?)
L: grilled chicken salad
S: string cheese, yogurt w/ blueberries & go lean crunch, maybe trail mix
D: sandwich of some kind I figure, or cheese pizza
S: depends on dinner

Slow thread this week! But darn it, I'm posting anyway! :)

Yesterday - came in 100 calories over where I wanted to be. I reported in another thread that I was only 50 over, but I had forgotten something... urgh. I did get in 45 minutes of Yoga Fitness Plus in a really hot room, so felt good about that.

Today:
B: kashi go lean w/ skim & some dried assorted berries
S: string cheese
L: grilled chicken salad
S: trail mix & a fiber fit bar. Replacing my planned oatmeal and yogurt. :(
D: turkey sausage over rice with brocolli, if I have enough left. Might roast myself some squash.
S: I'm going to try my lowfat vanilla yogurt put in the freezer and topped with Annie's chocolate bunnies and fat free redi whip again, I think. See if I can get it to freeze more this time.
E: Day 2 of the Belly Off Club workout from WH, some assorted DB exercises in my garage

Amanda - have a great trip!

Yesterday was fine on calories, had a beer last night after dinner but adjusted my other calories to compensate. Still under target by about 100, which makes me feel better after my over Wednesday. Got in some exercise, so all is good.

S: no morning snack, eating lunch early today, meeting this afternoon
L: grilled chicken salad
S: string cheese, lf yogurt w/ blueberries & go lean crunch
D: going out somewhere
S: depends on dinner
