A couple things that I would like to add to the list - sleep and water. If I have a bad night's sleep I get a crap burn. Not drinking enough water (or crystal light, green tea, or other water-like beverages) can have a major effect on a person's calorie burn. I started off drinking the often quoted 64oz. and I thought I was fine. However, I began being thirstier, so I added to it. Every day now I drink around a gallon of crystal light, 8-16 oz. fat free milk, and 8 oz. V8. My calorie burn did a significant jump up when I increased my fluid intake. I went from averaging 2400-2600 to 2800-3100 without a significant change in my activity.
Thanks! That's very good information to know. I'm only a week in with my bugg and I try to drink plenty of fluids, but I'm going to up them and see if that changes my burn as well.
