Hello! I am new to the forums and I have a question about the WW cookbooks. Tonight I made a pasta side dish and the book doesn't include the portion size. How would I measure this out?

Thank you!

I looked at several of my ww cookbooks and it looks like a serving of pasta is 1/2 cup unless you use whole wheat and it will be a bit more but in my complete food companion a serving is 1 cup cooked pasta = 4pts ...whole wheat 1 cup cooked = 3pt then you have to factor in the sauce, veggies an/or protien

hope that helped a bit

The recipe usually will tell you how many servings it makes - so you divide the dish into that many equal portions.

If you have a food scale you can weight the portions, otherwise you guesstimate.

Thank you to both of you ladies for responding to my question about the portion sizes in the cookbook. Both answers are very helpful!
