First of all, let me say that nobody loves a good Italian meal like yours truly! I could literally inhale an entire lasagna if I let myself go..and then look around for the garlic bread and sausage!

Last night I had 1 c. whole wheat pasta (3 pts) with 3 turkey Italian meatballs (4 pts) found these meatballs at BJ's and oh boy..YUMMY!..and 1/2 c sauce (2 pts).

Well..those three meatballs didn't look like a whole lot to me..so I cut each one into fourths and tossed the 12 pieces around in my sauce and pasta. I tell ya..it looked like A LOT more meat and fooled my stomach into believing it WAS more than it was. It's interesting how much of a role mental perception plays in all of this~~~

I do the same thing, I cut my meatballs into two or three pieces and it really does seem like you're eating more of them than you are...
