Question Tolerance to Phentermine

Hello everyone! Several years ago I took Phentermine and had wonderful success with it. But after a couple months it seemed that I built up a tolerance to it. I was considering trying it again but I'm worried about spending all that money on it just to find out it still doesn't work for me anymore. Has anyone else had this problem and then try it again to find out it worked again? Or is this one of those situations that once you build up a tolerance for it, that's it. Thanks for your input!

Hi jillybean,
I used phentermine for a few months last year and it helped me lose 25 lbs but I did develop a tolerance to it after about 3 months. As soon as I stopped using it, I gained back the 25 lbs and more over a six month period. So, I decided to try it again (thinking that I wouldn't have a tolerance to it after 12 months) and found that it didn't work as well- I had re-developed my tolerance after about a month and a half and I had only lost about 5 lbs. Perhaps a year isn't enough? You said it's been several years since you've tried it? I would think that it would work again for you...

Me too, I was on it once a few yrs ago and boom weight fell off. Then I tried it last yr and I needed to take more than the prescribed dose. So, I just abandoned the pharmaceutical route before I became one of those pill head moms on Dr. Phil or Oprah lol.

I had the same problem, it stopped working after a few months, plus I found that I don't eat because I'm hungry. I just like to eat and no pills will help that.
