Default Are you allowed homemade soup with spilt lentils?

Hi,

I have just made a big batch of homemade veggie soup for my boyfriend as he loves it. It smells so good i was wondering if i can eat it too.

All it consists of is water, carrots, onions, leak, turnip and split lentils with 2 chicken stock cubes.

Thanks
xx

No carrots or split lentils permitted on Induction.

sorry, the soup sounds good

I used to eat a ton of soups, I've largely stopped since low-carbing. There are a few I could adapt but most of my soups were veggie based, and I no longer go free-for-all with my veggies (ANY of them, even the LC ones).

I keep carrots extremely limited (sometimes ok one ingredient in cooking, but I tend to push them to the side of my plate) and I don't eat beans/lentils at all. Maybe at maintenance I'd try it, but for now, too concentrated in carbs for me.

JerseyGyrl.

Thankyou thankyou and once again thank you. I've been trying to find this website all weekend. I remembered how good it was. It's now safely bookmarked. I love how it's easy to spot recipes suitable for Induction, it makes life so much easier and tastier.
