Not a mini goal but a quite major one as it always seemed so unachievable to me:

I have now officially lost 10kg. This should be 22lb or just over 1 1/2st.

Wow! I always thought “If only I could lose 10kg this would be fantastic”, yet it never really seemed achievable. Losing 10kg and getting under 65kg! I never believed that I could ever sum up the stamina to make it happen, but now, I finally got to 64,6kg. As my highest weight was 74,6kg, I have now lost 10kg (w/a rounding it up).

I also measured again this morning, and here are the results (you`ll notice that I was already 3kg down when I started measuring - it would have been too much to bear for me to measure at my highest weight):

Stats at beginning, 18 weeks ago:

weight: 71,6kg

waist: 87.5cm

belly: 107cm

hips: 108cm

stats today (end of week 18):

weight: 64,6kg (-7kg)

waist: 77,0cm (-9.5)

belly: 100.0cm (-7)

hips: 101.5cm (-6.5)

thighs: 60cm and 59.5cm (-2,5 and -5.5cm)

Below, see photos of myself in April (Spain, at highest weight) and last week (Scotland, at current weight):

I`m aware that there are people on this forum who have lost 5 times as much as I have but to me, the physical transformation is major, and I`m grateful for it every day!

:bravo: It doesn't matter if other people have lost more, what matters is that you reach your goals and you create a healthy, happy life for yourself. Each person's goals are unique and just as important as everyone else's. Congrats on your success, you look awesome.:carrot:

You look great!

Like others have said, it's about you reaching your goals, not about what other people have done. You should be proud that you did it!

Thank you lots for your kind comments! I so want to share, but I don`t really want to draw too much attention to it in my RL environment, and my husband must be sick of me talking about it! :-)

I was sort of irritated at times because, although I noticed noone else seemed to. I was gobsmacked when I saw and compared the photos and saw the difference. Don`t know whether they are blind or jealous...

I have tried many many things in the past and always gave up quickly as I could not stand the sweet cravings.

I now do low GI and cut carbs (almost) totally at dinner time. This combination has done wonders for my cravings - I just don`t want sweets any more.

Re. excercise: I`ve always run, although not as often as I should. I`ve just upped that and, after a few weeks, could inrease speed and duration too. I feel I should probably do some weights, too, but an`t yet bring myself to. :-(

Although it now goes slower, the first 3-4kg went very quickly which was very motivating. You so want to continue when you see that it works!

Good luck!
