I am starting this challenge because this is my biggest hurdle...i am going to weigh in on friday nights and the challenge is to weigh the same or less on sunday night...to me thats a great way to begin a great week....anyone want to join me???

saturday i was totally off plan...this was another 3 day weekend for me and sunday and monday went very well...i gained 0 lbs between sat morning and tue morning...i may be doing this challenge alone, but hopefully someone will join me

I'm totally in. Weekends = Weakness for me. ;)
And this weekend will be a rough one. We have a family party 2 1/2 hours away so 5 hours in the car round trip. A whole day of bbq'ing on Saturday. And ever since football started this past weekend, on Sundays it's hard to avoid the beer & crap food...

I'll post my weight on 09/18 & then again on 09/21 and pray.

abby, it may just be you and me...i was going to wait til next weekend, but last weekend went so well i decided to write a post...i really think this challenge may scare people off...it seems simple, but for many its really difficult...have a great day!!!

Hello, I am in this challenge too. But if you don't mind, I used to step on the scale always in morning right after I wake up, thus I will post my weight from Saturday morning and Monday morning. Is it OK?

Ok, since I'm a morning weigher also, I'm going to post my starting weight: 220.0

Which sucks since I was down to my lowest on Wed of 218.6 and haven't gone off plan AT ALL this week. But this also gives me a better chance to be at a lower number Monday morning as long as I'm really careful this weekend... Good luck, everyone!

ps - I just noticed we're all around the same weight, too! Isn't that weird?

Hello, so I weighed myself this morning and I am 229,2. I just hope it will be less or at least the same Monday morning. :dizzy:

Yesterday while I was at work, my mom organised visit to my cousin and his wife. It's not like I don't want to go, they are great and very nice and I didn't see them like for month - but they always experiment with recipes (italian cuisine, german cuisine, different cakes, etc.) and cook and bake very good - yeah, I hope, they won't force me to eat too much - you know it too, right: "Come on, this little cake won't kill you!" or "Do you like this pasta? Then take one more portion!" :rolleyes:

up 1.8lbs, probably water weight because I was totally off plan on Sunday :( Perhaps I'm not ready for this challenge..

No, Abby, don't be sad! 1,8 lbs it' not so much. And I'm pretty sure it's water. Did you eat something salty? I was Saturday off plan too, I were on the wisit and I ate pancakes filled spinach and cheese. But luckily, my cousin didn't force me eat too much. And I increased my training during the weekend, instead of 45 minutes I execised one hour. You will see, next weekend will be better! :hug:

ayu, excellent...abby, i was up 3 lbs...i did well saturday, but not so great sunday....i absolutely think that most of mine is water weight...i worked my but off on friday night at work...this weekend i didnt do any exercise...i hope you dont get discouraged abby...if i were you i would keep posting, good or bad, so that it stays on your mind and maybe something will click for you...when i first started on 3fc, i had 1 bad week after anothe, but i stayed in touch...it got me going...have a great week!!

Thanks Ayu & David. :) I definitely appreciate the comments. David, I'm still working on getting the 'click'. It was there, and I've since lost it, but at least I'm pretty much maintaining at this point. I'm back down this morning.

And since this weekend I have my first 5k! I'm hoping I'll have actually lost weight by next Sunday.. Good luck everyone.

Well, TGIF everyone. My starting weight today is 221.0. I never made it back down to 220.0 from last weekend, but I've also greatly increased the intensity/frequency of my workouts this week, so I'm not sweating it right now. Hopefully by Monday morning I'll be back down again! Good luck this weekend, everyone!

well, i totally blew the weekend challenge, my wife had an emergency appendectomy on friday, so i didnt weigh in or post anything...its probably just as well...ill be back next weekend...have a great week!!

I'm so sorry to here that David. Hope all is well with wifey. Get some rest, I'm sure you've been stressed out all weekend..

I'm up AGAIN today, but I'm not too worried. After the 5k, and moving furniture yesterday, I'm super sore, so I'm sure my muscles are repairing since I ate pretty well all weekend. See you next Friday!

Hi guys! I've had my eye on your challenge, and after this weekend, I think I should probably join you. My biggest weekend challenges are family get-togethers, going out to breakfast with my husband, and (this time of year) snacking and drinking during football games. Had a bad back-half of the week last week, so I'm trying to get back on track---Have a good week!

Hey Turning30! It's been a small group so we're always happy to have another member!! My schedule is so flexible on the weekends, so my eating is just terrible. And just like you, now that football started :dizzy: Forget it!

Even after 2 weeks, I'm still posting higher weights on Monday morning. But, I'm not as far up on my Monday weights as I've been prior to starting this challenge, so I think it's working. Enjoy your week and see you Friday! :hug:

Today's weight is 219.6 which is up .8lbs. BUT, I did an hour on the elliptical yesterday and ate relatively good all weekend so I'm sure this is muscle repair & water weight. Because Sunday morning I was down to 218.2!

:carrot: My weight went down! I lost more then 1 lbs this weekend, I weighed 225,4 lbs this morning. This means my BMI is 39,9 and I am not morbidly obese anymore!!!

Good job Ayumukasuga! I did not have a very good weekend diet-wise, but I was only up 0.2 lbs. I'm hoping that is not because it hasn't caught up with me yet (sometimes I feel like it takes a day or two before a bad day/or good day shows up on the scale). But I did play tennis Saturday and run on Sunday, so maybe that saved me. And today starts a new week--lets have a good one!

+.6 since yesterday but I ran a full mile non-stop yesterday (along with another 33 minutes of cardio) and I am super sore, so I know it's water weight. Which gives me an even bigger chance to be down my Monday morning. Good luck everybody!!
