HI Lucy!! lovely for you to join us! good luck on your goal!!!

what i find works for me, is to eat slowly, and exercise everyday. no matter what, or how much, or what type of exercise it is. doesnt matter, as long as you're moving your body. its exercise! and then when you feel you're geting comfortable with a certain exercise, push yourself a little out of your comfort zone. but not so much that you hate it, and wont want to exercise again!

for me eating more salads/veggies with my chicken or meat or fish - helps me to lose weight, and reducing the amount of breads and wheat based products.

essentially, eat more fruits, salads, veggies, and your body will feel satisfied, cause its getting the essential nutrients. and eat slowly. you will find you will be satisfied with less food. it takes 20 minutes for your brain to know that your stomach is full.
between each mouthful , chew it thoroughly and put down your fork.
i'm essentially following paul mckenna's 4 golden rules. and so far its working for me
