Now it's time to start fresh, kinda like back in kindergarten......"

You are welcome to join us in our chatter about life and our weight loss journey!

So please grab your coffee/water/diet coke etc. and pull up a chair and join us!

Good Morning -

Started a new thread, hope no one is pissed. lol

I was going to add a pic from photobucket but can't access the site on this computer.

Francie - Hi! How was your summer? I was reading Nanny Diaries, thought of it as being a book you would enjoy. I thought it was pretty funny.

Mindee- Camping sounds like fun, get some rest now!

Sassy - *whispers* if you don't want to do something, you don't have to......that is the neat thing about being old. :D Hugs to you.

k- now I better get back to work!!!

'Morning ladies...

SASSY...ditto what Susan said.

SUSAN...forgot to mention yesterday I think, we do plan on calling the baby Lily. I think Lillian is cute enough but Lily is cuter. Apparently Charlotte had that in mind all a long but didn't like just Lily with the last name. I was trying to get, rather suggested using a family mn and they kinda liked one but turned and are going with far anyway. She said it is set in stone. Her mother of course is being a pain and says she refuses to call her anything but Chloe...that's what she wants her to name her, ugh. Anyway...Can't believe Gaby is going to be 7 already...they grow too fast! I've been seeing previews for The Nanny Diaries and daughter thinks I am goofy for wanting to see it, lol...I think it looks funny. I would read the book but for some reason I am stuck and can't get any reading done, or much anyway. So you think you will sign up at Facebook? So much easier and better than myspace...totally different. the new avatar, that is a good family pic and the kids are getting so big!

FRANCIE...hello is Fonzo doing in P? When will he get home, I know you and the kitties are missing him!

Hello to everyone else

I am such a lazy one today...I just got up about 15 minutes ago, lol. Don't know what happened as I awoke at 7. Turned over and then the hubby woke me at 8 when he left to go towork. Rolled over again and the next thing I know it's 10:47 and the son is saying "So lazy" I said I know, lol. Didn't realize the time though. Glad I made a few things last night less work to do today. We've been having family dinner every Sunday the last few weeks. Since I don't watch the little tyke anymore, I should say, since the kids started school last month, I never see them so I started up with the family dinners every Sunday. Nothing we are bbq'ing...I've been letting them choose what they want but last Sunday we were out front and you could smell the BBQ and I told them we HAVE to grill today. So that is what we are doing today. Anywho...

Need to make my rounds online and jump in the shower before doing some prep work for dinner...really not anything to do except cook some bacon for the baked beans. And they won't be here
til 5 so...plenty of time.

Take car ladies, and have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi everyone.

Popping in really quick before I have to get ready for work.

Susan...finally. Now we can all recover from our SusieQ withdrawal. I can see we are all purked up already. And FYI we were not starting a new thread until you came back to do it. I am a RSA Resident Support Aid. I wake up, change, dress, get them out of bed, feed, entertain, clean, bath, do laundry, wash dishes, dress in pjs, and put back into bed the residents at an acute care nursing home. I have never sweated so much in my entire life as much as I sweat now. And I have not lost 1 single pound. How depressing.

Jules...that is so exciting that you are going to be a gramma again. I am glad that Ry has a good girlfriend. I hope his ex leaves him alone now. As for the potty training, good luck. Punkin is doing pretty good at training. She will tell us when she has to go poo on the potty, but it is hit and miss otherwise. She does go on the potty when she first wakes up. Did I read that your mom is feeling a little better? I hope so. I hope that you are able to relax a little now.

Cristina....Ooohhh that is so exciting that the time is almost here for the big event. Wow benadryl? Who knew. Is Charlotte's mom going to go in with her at the hospital? Hope that you have a nice family dinner. How are the kids liking school?

Sue...what a cutie. He must be such a joy to have around. Hope that the stresses in your life are working themselves out and everything is getting better. When I first started my job I thought what have I gotten myself into, and I don't think I can do this...but I do seem to have a talent for it. Now I really enjoy my job. However I know I will find it very depressing when someone goes. Most of them are in their late 90's. must be looking foreward to just you and Marrisa time. I am sorry to hear about Tommy's job. Glad that he is still working. What is he doing now? Have the boys started school? You will need a few weeks to recover from your summer.

Katy...cute dog. Glad that he is fitting in with your family so well. Have you finished all your classes? I am doing the dance of joy for you that you have such a great number on the scale. WTG on finishing the c25k that is a great accomplishment.

Sassy when is your birthday? and how old will you be? I am sorry that you are feeling a little down. Glad to hear that you and your coworker are doing things together again. You and hubby will have to go out for a nice date night. I think that I might have to tell my hubby that he should take me out also.

Francie tell us about your convention.

Ok I must run and get ready to go. I work the 3-11:15 shift this weekend, but 7-3:15 tomorrow morning, I will be tired.

Oh Susie Cole loves his new school. I am so glad, because he actually comes home happy and smiling. Loves the teacher to. Good thing, because we certainly couldn't take another year like last year.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

09-07-2009, 02:24 AM
Hi All.

I am still down. I was trying to get my spirits back up but my coworker seems down as well or tired. lol. So we're both just sitting here in silence, yay. lol.

Anywho. I dunno what I am gonna do about the bday thing probably just say have it and just stay a couple hours and leave.

Suzy Q -- and thanks.

Cristina - Thanks. :)

Kathy -- We're not really doing things together again. Its just cuz of my bday is this month and her significant others bday is this week, only they won't get to celebrate due to her getting her wisdom teeth pulled, so we decided to collaborate our bdays together. So if anything like I said above, just have it and stay a couple hours and leave. I don't think I am even inviting anybody else. Just have my hubby, my coworker, her significant other and her best friend. (yes I have been replaced! HA!! lmaooooo!!) I don't even want to go out on a date with DH. How pathetic is that? lmao. I may change my mind come the end of the month, but we'll see. lol.

 to all and to all a good night!!!!!!!! lol.

09-07-2009, 09:54 AM

Man, I stayed up way too late to be getting up early...5:30 came too fast and I didn't want to get up. Forced my lard arse too though and glad, I guess. I did get my walk in and it was cool so that's all good. Feeling sleepy and thinking I will end up back in bed in a couple of hours, lol. Hubby is working today so...nothing planned, sort of. Heading over to J & C's later. They forgot the burrito's yesterday so i am taking them over later. He loves these steak & cheese burrito's and it seems Sam's is the only place that has them so I picked him up a box. Anyway...going to try and get thru a dvd in a few minutes but not sure if I will make it. I am too sleepy.

SASSY...thank you! Well, hope you can try and enjoy your birthday. Sounds like you are in a funk, hope you feel better soon, especially for your BD!

KATHY...Charlotte just told me yesterday that she wants Josh, Chase, her mom and me in the delivery room. I had no idea she had that in mind and at first i though yuck, lol. But then I don't have to see her hot pocket so, lol. I will be there. Not sure why Chase wants to see/be there. Josh said no one under 12 can but C is saying yes...still don't know why he wants to but whatever. Kids are liking school...Charlotte gets maternity leave starting next Monday and she told Cambrie she will take her to school but she wants to ride the bus, lol.

Hello to everyone else

Have a good day all...gonna go visit FB and then try and do a dvd. Think when I go to J & C's will stop at Target and look for The Sons of Anarchy first season...the new season is starting and I have been wanting to see it but I need to catch up. Anywho...adios!

09-07-2009, 09:57 AM
Oh your Charlie Brown...I broke the habit somehow but for the longest time I said Good Grief...always made me think of CB, lol...said it so much it made my top 5 list of what I wanted to put on my car tags...GoodGrf...that may be my next one, lol.

Have a good one! :)

09-07-2009, 10:09 AM
Cristina--kinda weird about Chase being there--seeing Mom in pain may be hard for him...Dave's Mom got mad at Teri, but she had been so mean to her and saying that yntil a paternity test was done she wouldn't be sure Dominic was even Dave's...the woman was a real piece of work, no wonder Dave has so many issues. He's pretty much out of the picture...he has said several times that he would sign away his rights if Teri signs something that says she will never try for child support.

Sassy--I htink you should go out with hubby or even spend a day for yourself...massage, pedicure....all out Sassy pampering...I don't know how I would feel going out with my coworker/bff who replaced me....

Kathy--Teri has been very vocal about the ex's behavior and has threatened to "talk" to her...Teri loves her but this little game she is playing is getting old...she only wants him when he's happy or she's depressed and when things start going good for her again Ry's out of the picture. Mom is beginning to feel better and I am so glad, we have a followup checkup in Baltmore tomorrow morning. Dad bounced back quick even with the radiation...scary part with him is if that kidney stone had not turned into a bladder infection, it would have been too late by the time they found the fast growing tumor.

Suzi--isn't childhood the root of all our problems :dizzy:....I know mine screwed me up pretty darn good...

Hi to everyone else--last day with Dominic...they are going to come and get him this afternoon--going to go make breakfast and enjoy him...

09-07-2009, 11:27 AM
Well, scale was a I am right back where I started. Going to set up a ticker and get serious for the millionth time. I did eat pretty well all week, but ate some pizza and drank wine last night so I am up a pound today - bleh. Today will be a fun day - taking the kids to Oaks Park, so there is roller skating in my future. I will run this afternoon and try to get to 12 laps on the track. I tried running in my hilly neighborhood on Saturday and did ok, but did have to stop on the last big hill...just not quite ready for so many hills.

Susan- get your behind over to Facebook, lol! We are all over there, and it is fun...just don't feel like advertising my weight gains and losses over there. I agree with Cristina that is much better to use than MySpace.

Cristina - can't believe the baby is almost here..that pregnancy seemed to just zoom by. Can't wait to see some pictures. I think being the in the room will be seems to be for everyone I have talked to. I've never been an observer before, but I think it would be cool

Sassy - If you go , it might just perk you up. I feel that way sometimes...just don't feel like going places or getting out there, because it takes alot of emotional energy, but if I make myself, I usually get into the swing of things, then cheer up...maybe you will, too? Whatever you do, spoil yourself, you deserve it!

Jules- have a great day with Dominic! GL with the kids didn't want to do anything until they were three,at lest. I hear there are kids out there who want to get those diapers off, too bad mine weren't in that category, lol! However, they both are potty trained now, haha.

Kathy - False alarm on the scale - harrumph. I weighed first thing in the morning after my run...maybe that had something to do with it. I am trying to eat vegan until 6 pm , and that is going well ( I read Mark Bittman's book Food Matters) I do feel better when I focus on lots of produce, so I will keep that up. Classes are done for now...will start fall term October 1.

Hi to Sue and Francie!

I'm off to set up a ticker...Happy Labor Day, everyone!

09-07-2009, 01:14 PM
Happy Labor Day!!!! :carrot: It is my all time favorite hoilday!! lol

jk - it is a time and a half day at work, so yipppeeeee.

It has taken me a whole week to lose 1 little pound, how frustrating.

Cristina - The MIL is going to call the baby Chloe? I think Lily is as cute as can be. I want to see Julie/Julia. The problem with reading books first is they are usually better, movies never match up. Cute Cambrie likes the bus, I'll have to get Gab use to taking one to her day care this year.

Kathy - Does Canada have CNA's?? Sounds like you are a CNA. lol :dizzy: It also sounds like hard work! And you haven't lost weight? I would be pissed. I walk a lot here on the job , but nada....course there is a lot of food around to nibble on.

Sassy - SNAP OUT OF IT!! lol I get in funky moods too, especially when I am pmsing. Hugs :)

Katy- ya,ya the I am going to have to come back to the village and watch you run, it might inspire me. Do you go by Starbucks? I can sit there and sip my latte and cheer you on, that is about as close to exercise as I am going to get. haha. How is Little L?? Is she ready for school? I love all the grade schools in that area.

Jules- we're not screwed up Jules, we're normal :) My ex's were together Sunday while one was picking up G from the other. Male bonding, gotta love it. I take comfort in the fact neither one appeals to me now. I have grown up and matured over the years.

oops better get!!! back to work. Hello to everyone!

09-07-2009, 02:03 PM
Alrighty then...I was here earlier and did a nice long post saying Good Morning. DD called and I told her to hang on while I posted...then I left the puter. Come back now and I don't have a post...DARN it. I knew I should have paid more attention as I usually save it until it actually posts....grrrrr.

So...Good Afternoon. HA.. Today is a normal day for us..we had our fun yesterday. I did my normal Monday bed sheets washing and cleaned the kitchen. Now I am contemplating riding the bike. It is overcast and dreary, so a nice time to ride.

I did weigh in this a.m....tah dah...I am BACK down to the 160's weighing in at 169.5. Of course, the way I bounce around before I settle on a number anything is possible.

Reunion was one of the best. Mom's 6 siblings were there...they got pictures and I forgot my camera, so will get one from my aunt. We had around 70 people in lots of cousins to chat with. And of course, every type picnic food imaginable. I was very good and still today can not believe that out of a table FULL of desserts I only ate 1/2 of a choc. chip cookie. I even did well at both meals...stress this time seems to be curbing my appetite instead of making me scarf down anything in sight. Anyway, it was a long day, but such a nice one for all of us. Mom was so happy...

Not going to take time for indies right now....but "hi" to all and hope your day is super.

09-07-2009, 04:36 PM
Katy - I felt bad about teasing on your ability to run. I think it is actually pretty awesome and I am jealous out of my mind.
I have always wanted to
1.......... be able to Run and
2. .........have Perky Breast.
Not in that order of course but either one would make me happy.

Be proud of yourself!!! I am :)

Sue - Happy to hear that the reunion went well, sounds like you have a super family!

Short and sweet - have to get back to work!

09-07-2009, 05:56 PM
I am so glad I rode the we are having a downpour.
Susan- I also wished/wish to be able to run. At 60 I imagine I might as well forget it. And the perky breasts..a thing of the past. LOL

Katy- As noted above I admire your ability to run..and also the one where you swim and the one where you roller skate...You go girl!! You are doing great.

Cristina- That FB will get you going and keep you up till all hours. So fun and so addicting. I never really wanted to be in the delivery room with anyone. Stayed in the labor room with my girls and that was it. But then they both had C sections.

Jules- I bet you are lost now that the baby boy has gone home. How many days do you watch him now? I am watching Mason for a few hours tomorrow afternoon and Friday afternoon. His momma is working double shifts and going to school. DD watches him most of the time, but she works from home and needs 3 or 4 hours in the afternoon to get her work done. My DGS unfortunately is MIA right hence, my stress level and everyone else taking care of his GF and baby. Not only is he MIA, but he is homeless and jobless and vehicle I don't know how much more he can take before snapping. Not that it is the fault of anyone other than himself...but a grandma still worries and cares. More to it...but I just get so depressed.... All I can do is hug on Mason and do the best for him.

Okay...I am off to fix dinner and look out at this rain. Quite the dreary day.

09-07-2009, 06:13 PM
just thought that I would post on here to see how every one is doing....we are having a lazy day around here. we were supposed to have a BBQ, but the office manager backed out of it because her son wanted to have a BBQ at his place today. so, now it is raining and we are having a lazy day.......not sure what we are going to have for dinner.....but it will probably be something bought.

we had a great day yesterday at my parents house.....I took about 207 pictures while we were up there. we even stayed up there a little longer and made some smores with my sister and her family that were up there and my parents and some of my younger siblings. it was a lot of fun!

Cristina~ thanks for the nice comment on my new avatar.....that was taken at the tractor pull that we took the kids to about two or three weeks ago.

Kathy~ Tommy is actually doing more or less handy man work.....but he does a little bit of every thing. he does masonry, construction, maintenance.....basically anything and everything. the kids actually go for orientation tomorrow, and then they start on Wednesday riding the bus.

gotta run and figure out what we are going to have for dinner....Tommy asked Brandon what his name was earlier and he said "Brandon Thomas the tank Bricio"

09-07-2009, 09:55 PM
Hola Me Amigas!

Well here I am another fun-filled night! WOO-HOO! lol. At least I get paid well for the next 3 hours! (Holiday Pay)

I didn't sleep well at all. Kept waking up every hour. Finally I got up and got dressed and crashed out on the recliner for a little bit and tonight I don't have the car to go and take a nap in on my lunch! It was raining and thundering when I got up so had to wake DH to take me in so he has the car. (he usually rides his motorcycle) He wasn't very happy about it, but I'm like, "Well if you wanna get soaked, I honestly don't care, just thought you wouldn't want to drive in the rain/storm." :p Men......They say WE are cranky! lol.

Cristina -- Yeah I dunno what is wrong with me. Probably just my bday this year. Just feeling old and I know that I am really not, but just feels that way. lol. Yeah I seen the CB and the Good Grief and that is exactly how I have been feeling here lately. Hope you get you some sleep! ;)

Jules -- Yeah I am not sure yet about my bday, kinda gonna wait until the last minute I think. lol. Maybe by then I will feel like doing something, who knows.

Katy -- I am the same way too. So that is why I most likely will force myself to do something, because I know once I get there it will be fun. Remember our cookout we had that I was dreading back when we first got our house? Well once it started it was a lot of fun, so I guess I just need to do it. ;) Roller Skating. Wow the last time I went roller skating I fell and bruised my tail bone and could not sit for a week! HA!

Suzy Q -- LMAO! Well you did manage to get a laugh outta me at least! lol. Well its not PMSing, too early for that, but yeah I know I need to get outta this funk. Maybe DH and I can get out this weekend and do something, maybe that might perk me up!!

Sue -- WTG on the 160's! :carrot: Glad your reunion went good and glad your mom had fun. ;)

Mindee -- All I got to do was work. lol. But I did get paid well for it and still am as a matter of fact, up til midnight at least! HEE HEE!

And thank you all for your kind words of support.

09-07-2009, 11:39 PM
just thought I would pop back in here before heading off to relax before bed.....the boys go for their orientation in the morning and then it will be school as normal on Wednesday!

I am in the process of uploading pictures from this weekend to facebook and take a gander and let me know what you think! (you can also see the new color of my hair.....our friend dyed it for me for my is a dark brown color, but in some lights it looks almost black)

09-08-2009, 02:33 PM
Good Morning -

Gaby refuses to give me any peace and quite while I am on the computer, so have to be fast! Tomorrow though she is at school all day

Sassy - I feel old, wait til you get to 45, it is all down hill from here. I need to get into yoga or something....or some cult .....or far eastern thinking that puts peace loving thoughts regarding the aging of the soul or some mumble crap like that. lol There is hope for us yet! Anyway, snap out of it works too. lmbo Hugs!!

Mindee- gads, 207 pictures! what do you do with them all?? I like the avatar too,you sure have a handsome family :)

Sue -If we can't have perky breast I guess we could run. I kind of tried that before........ do a jog/walk kind of thing. Felt dorky though, everyone was watching me....ok, that sounds like I was dorky and paranoid.... *sigh. Bunch of *issues* , huh? lol

anyway, I am FAT today. I think I gained back my pound. It didn't wanna leave me. Cute.
I am reading Firefly Lane.
Gab & I went to school this morning. Bunch of fashionable little girls in that class, omg.
I was going to throw Gab in some shorts and summer garb but decided on a skirt and shirt, not new but nice.
Figured her new clothes could start tomorrow because it was only an hour orientation.
anyway, we managed to get through it and I liked the teacher a lot. She has taught Title 1 reading and math before and that is what Gaby needs with her IEP.
Now we are going to her day care because they moved last week right below where we live and I wanted Gaby to see it before she goes on Thursday for the first time.

AND.....tomorrow she goes to school and I have a day OFF!!! Yippeeeeee.

back later when I have more time!

Hi to everyone!

09-08-2009, 04:45 PM
Getting ready to rest for a little while. I have had a busy day and it is only 3:35.....
Rode 2 1/3 miles this morning on my trusty bike. Made a nice pot of homemade veggie soup after the ride. Then Mason came to visit and we walked 1 1/3 miles with him in his stroller and grandma panting...(it was warm) These new strollers have a spot for a drink I did Then we sat on the porch, later came inside and got him all cleaned up. He took a brief (10 minute) sleep and woke up wanting to eat. ...Fed him cleaned him up AGAIN and just held him for awhile. He was fighting sleep when DD picked him up, so I bet he had a nice snooze in the car seat. 3 and 1/2 hours and I was worn out...thank goodness God gives babies to young people for the most part. DD is 44 and she says she gets worn out too...But then she never stops.

I am going to go check out FB for a few minutes then take a nap...since dinner is soup and it is ready I have some extra time.

I think my scales is playing games with me...and it is NEW. I was not in the 160's this I refuse to weigh again until Monday and won't be shocked if it was wrong yesterday.....*grumble grumble grumble*

09-08-2009, 08:29 PM
Sue--I am beginning to believe a grandma worries more than a mommy....but I still worry about my kids even though they are grown up and doing good for the moment...we have Dominic a minimum of Friday and Staurday nights and all day Sunday until around 3...sometimes we get him on Thursday nights too and an additional Sunday every now and then--Teri is was working Thursday night-Sunday night night shift but it's going to be changing a little to adjust to her school schedule--she's looking for a differrent job--WTG on the trusty bike...

Suzy--It 's pretty bad that screwed up is the normal....fashionistas are starting younger and younger---my babysitters oldest daughter used to do my hair a different way every morning until 2nd grade when she graduated got married and left me on my yoga booty ballet has some new agey mostly makes different parts of my body scream...

Mindee--so you and Marissa will finally get some "girl" time!! I can't believe that both boys are off to school...they grow up way too fast..I will go check out your pics in a little while...

Sassy--my man is ..I finally can't take it anymore and snap--and then I am the bit@h....I told him I could start holding it all in again and plotting his painful torture....It's you birthday--you do what you want...

Kathy--we got lots of wet potty pants and on successful trip--I just don't think he's ready...will try again but not pushing anything, we did a followup to Baltimore with mom today--she's doing great--doens't go back for 3 months...

Katy--Teri was a breeze to potty train--she has always hated to be dirty or wet(unless she's taking a bath or swimming),Ry did pretty good too--I must have been lucky-I used cloth diapers which was an incentive to me....

Cristina--hey chickee!!

well I did my YBB dvd last night--gave blood today so I am going to take it easy..hubby wants to look online some so I am out of here...

Hugs to all!!!

09-08-2009, 11:23 PM

Suzy Q -- LOL. Yeah what is the Asians secret to staying so young looking and where can we get whatever it is that keeps them that way? lol.

Jules -- You sound like me. Only my dh bugs the crap outta me until I do tell him, then I finally snap because he drives me up the wall asking me what is wrong! lol. Thanks, still not sure yet on the bday thing, but yup your right its my bday and I should do what I want! ;)

09-09-2009, 02:01 AM
just popping in for a quick second.......I need to get to bed because the boys have their first actual day of school I need to get to bed!

I will get on here more often now that they will be in school in the afternoons!

09-09-2009, 01:45 PM
Good Morning -

Sassy - I don't know. I use to have a friend that was (actually I am sure she still is......haha ) Vietnamese. She was 30 something but looked 16 and had a figure of a little girls. She was cute, she liked buying Miss Kitty stuff. lol

Jules -what is a ybb dvd? we should get into yoga. The lab manager lady teaches it at the hospital I work at, she is so nice and she has a great figure. I am not sure how yaga lets you have a good figure though:dizzy:

Mindee- did you survive the 1st day of school?? I didn't. lol

There was a meltdown, it wasn't pretty and it was mine. I had an idea of Gaby was going to wear and she had the nerve to protest and choose another outfit! And she insisted that she wear shorts under her skirt because she didn't want her panties to show. I told her panties don't show if you don't swing from play structures. Yada, yada. She started to cry and that upset me because I wanted her to have a happy 1st day of school. So, I raised my voice and she cried harder.
Lord, shoot me already.
In the end she looked very sweet and she was so good while I did her hair.
I helped her into the school and up to the 3rd floor with her heavy backpack. There are 30 students in her class and I am not too thrilled w/ that, see how it goes.

anyway, back to 150 and thinking that is where my body wants to be so maybe I will just maintain at 150?

k- chat later!

09-09-2009, 03:47 PM
the first day went off without a hitch! the boys got onto the bus without any problems and without any crying.......Marissa on the other hand......well she was bummed as soon as the bus pulled away. she was asking for dandon and ogie, and I told her that they would be home later and she was fine with that. now she is laying down and I am on here checking my email and such.

I put up some pictures from today, so feel free to check them all out! (don't worry there are only 72 this time)

A quick good evening to you all. Hope school went well for all the youngsters today. Sounds like it didn't go well for some

I had lunch with family today...enjoyed that. My aunt is going back to TN tomorrow.

I only managed to ride 1 mile this morning after a sleepless night. I am tired now, but waiting for a talk with DD before I go to bed. Trying to plan a trip to Vegas and to visit DD and grandson in CA. the first week of Oct.

I didn't weigh and I plan not to until Monday...I am sure I am doing okay. (just have to convince the scale.)

Have a nice Thurs. Hope you are planning a great week-end.

09-10-2009, 01:32 AM
just thought that I would pop in before turning in for the night......tomorrow is laundry day, although I am thinking of spacing it out betwen tomorrow and Friday while the boys are in school.....that way it won't seem so overwhelming to me!

Hi Girlies!

Suzy Q -- I think Asian Women are soooooo beautiful. Sorry you and Gaby had a difficult morning yesterday. But glad all worked out. :) 150's, wow I would love to be there. I know that is not very sensitive of me. I remember being at a lower weight and thinking man I hate where I am, if I could just lose 20 more pounds or whatever. But 150 just seems soooooooo far away for me. lol. But I wish you well in whatever you decide. We all think your beautiful.

Mindee -- Glad the first day went well! Awwww poor Marissa, well at least she will have time with you!!

Sue -- Hi Sue, what part of TN is your Aunt from? My husband's family is from the Knoxville area. When are you going to Vegas? My husband and I want to go for his birthday, which is in December. I need to weigh in as well. I haven't touched the scale in a while and need to know where I am. Scary. Isn't it hilarious how women can handle cramps, bleeding, wiping snotty noses, cleaning up puke, but are scared of a stupid scale??? LMAO!

09-10-2009, 02:17 PM
the kids laundry is almost done....the loads are in the dryer. marissa is laying down, Tommy should be pulling in here soon......he got out of work early today. then tonight we have to take him to the doctors tonight for his check up and we will get the results from his x-rays and bloodwork!

off to find some lunch and see what else I can check off my to do list

09-10-2009, 02:42 PM
Good Morning -

Sassy - That is really a long post! I think Asian women are pretty to. There is one that I worked with that was my assistant and she was pretty funny. Very social and never seemd to work but I guess she did because she has never gotten ,,,,,anyway, she would always come back to my desk and plop down in a chair and we would talk the day away. I miss her. Anyway, she was Asian. The End. Oh, ya. And I was the one that was fired. haha

Sue - My mom just got back from Reno. I weighed this morning as was up another pound, Grrrrrrrrr

Mindee- I thought of you yesterday:D I took my disposable camera and only had 1 shot left on it because Gaby aimlessly was shooting pictures of the carpet the other day and I was even standing there combing her hair not even paying attention. Anyway, so I had 1 shot to take of her her first day of school. And you had 71 more???? lol

Hi to everyone!!!

I joined Facebook but kind of confused what to do there......we just like talk? I think I am too anti social for that, but I'll try.
Gab managed to get to school happy! So, that was ...ummm, helpful. lol Her backpack has wheels and another child said yesterday it wasn't "cool".I told her "tell them to shove it!!" and she replies... "mom, it's ok. I like my backpack"......
That is a new concept. What other people say is just their opinion, I mean....we have our own that is just as valuable?? Why is this 7 year old so smart?? lol

I better get to work!!!

09-11-2009, 12:18 AM
just thought I would pop in here before dragging my butt to bed......

we took Brandon to the doctor tonight for his follow up visit.......he tested negative for juvenile rheumatoid he is just having growing pains right now which the doctor said to give him motrin for.

SuzieQ~ LOL.....I actually had a couple of shots of the ground at my parents house when we were there on I know that feeling! that is basically the idea of facebook, but you can get updates from your friends when they update their information and status.

09-11-2009, 05:23 AM
Hola All,

Nothing big on my end really.

Suzy Q -- Yeah that is why I have the individuals in a different color so nobody has to read the whole thing. It was mostly for me to "let off some steam." ;) Facebook is like Myspace. Just keeps you connected with friends and family, only you can do more games and quizzes and such on Facebook.

I went ahead and got rid of my "Ramblings" as they were just really for me to get out some feelings. The individuals are still there. :)

Big

09-11-2009, 09:07 AM
hi all--I gave blood on Tuesday even though my iron was borderline--it kicked my butt...I have been soooo tired. it was also less than 2 months since I gave last time. My washer threw uo oil all over the floor...hubby cn fix it but says it's time for new...(hooray!!) I need to go and put the order in for them today and pay taxes and go to the laundromat....and everything else...wanted to go to work to play catch up, but doesn't look like it will happen....

Sassy--sometimes we all need to vent, hope things work out for you. Have you decided what to do on your bday? What is the date again...

Suzy--Facebook is like myspace...there are things I like/dislike on both. This site is much more personal, there are things I wouldn't say on either of them that I would put here. Gaby is wiser than her years...

Mindee--glad the boys enjoyed school--Marissa can get some one on one with Mommy!!!

Sue--Teri and JR stayed at the Mirage in Las Vegas but they want to go back and stay at the Luxor next--they have decided that they will eventually get married in Vegas probably by Elvis..with a small group of friends and family

Katy & Kathy--hi to you both!!

well I need to get coffee going and get my day started...

09-11-2009, 12:01 PM
Just stopping by to say Hi...nothing going on, well there is but nothing worth talking 'bout. Have a great weekend!

09-11-2009, 01:02 PM
Good Morning -

It's Friday, it's payday, it's sunny, no one cried this morning or even in the last 24 hours!

And there are postings to read!! Yay, and where IS Katy & Francie?

Sassy - I enjoyed the whole post, I hope you are feeling better today though? I am not really into quizes and games. lol I am so friggin anti social. Not really into my family either. lol I saw my sister and SIL on Facebook but didn't add them. Oh, I think Beck is on there I guess I could go look for her? Anyway, how are the kitties? My Momo is ready to come in and be a nice, clean kitty again, he is so filthy from being outside and I have had to put Advantage on him twice this summer.

Jules- I love the laundromat! I wish I could still go to wash my clothes. I think the machines are so much better. :dizzy: I remember the ex was yelling at the girls one Sunday night to get there clothes ready for school the next day so they both bring down these huge piles because the dirty had gotten in with the clean and I guess it is easier for them to just .....umm, call everything dirty.
So, the ex was going to have a heart attack because it was going to take ALL night to get the laundry done and when the washer goes thru the spin cycle you have to sit on it because it is off balance. Like me. And he wasn't going to be the one sitting on it! Period!
Anyway, I gathered up the laundry and went to the laundromat and got it all done in 90 minutes....:carrot:

How fun to be married by Elvis! Hope you have a fun weekend. What is going on w/ your iron level?

Mindee- Hugs to little Brandon! I really need to get a digital camera, huh? Just seems really complicated. lol

Cristina - I want to hear about what you are doing! Goodness knows nothing ever is changing here with me. I could go put an ad on a singles site and start writing about that??? lol And the Pool Man is long gone and I am still thinking it could have been something special:o
hmmmm, or I could have a baby? I told the ex I wanted one this morning and he said no, I can't have one. Whatever. He has 7 and his last when he was
57-something, so who is he to say?
And I was really thinking that Gaby needs a sibling closer to her age. She says Momo (the cat) is her brother and she is fine. Wise little girl.
Anyway, come back and chat! Miss hearing from you.:D

k- to everyone else!! I need to go pick up my check and go and get my 1 picture of Gaby on her 1st day of school. Hope it turned out

oh, and weightwise I am 152 today!!! I think it is TOM, I hope so at least.

09-11-2009, 01:22 PM
'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.'

When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

Oh, I like this one too, especially the first part. I just hope that doesn't mean I have to exercise. haha. jk

09-11-2009, 03:47 PM
hoping that this will be my last day in the laundry mat! and I hope that it all gets dried this time as well!

I am starving, and I have already had a couple of pop tarts earlier and our office manager just gave me two donuts when I was in the laundry I ate those, and now I am starving again! I will have to find something more filling here in a second!

SuzieQ~ I love those quotes.....especially the last one!

Jules~ You know, you would think that she would want some one on one time with Mommy while the boys are in school, but she would rather nap! LOL we get our time together if we need to go out for a walk.......

09-11-2009, 03:50 PM
SuzyQ--my Mom and I are both borderline anemic, so sometimes I get really tired and bruise easy, my arm is actually bruised from giving blood this time and it never does that, don't know whats going on since I have been taking my vitamins. I used to love going to the laundromat--I would take a book and enjoy the peace and quiet and I love the smell of dryer sheets...When Ry first moved out I used to take him to do his clothes or I did them for him at the laundromat--irritated hubby to no end...

Cristina--miss you..hope all is going well are you impatiently waiting for little Lily???

Well our personal and property taxes along with the county ambulance and fire fees are all paid and our new washer & dryer is ordered and should be delivered next Friday....just getting pizza tonight--I will have to make me a big salad so I don't splurge....going to go get paint to do the laundry room while the washer and dryer are out--it will be nice and pretty for them to put the new ones in....

09-11-2009, 03:51 PM
Hey Mindee--you snuck in there--she will start enjoying having mommy to herself after she gets used to the boys being gone...the pics on myspace were too cute..

09-12-2009, 12:07 AM
Fast one here....I also ordered a new washer/dryer today. I get mine Monday, so glad I don't need to paint my laundry room. :) Actually, they will take out the old ones so we don't have to.

Big craft fair in our little town this week-end and garage sales all over the place. DH and I went this morning and Mom and I are going tomorrow. Then off to the fams to play cards tomorrow night. I am making veggie pizza to take. We pitch in and the hostess makes the meats or main dish. Fun.

Booked the trip for Oct. 3rd....Las Vegas for 4 days then DH is coming home and I am going to California to visit DD and grandson for a week. I am excited. Also have almost firmed up plans for 3 weeks in San Diego in January with the sons. They are renting us the cute little beach place again...yay!
These are our concessions to NOT having that winter home in Vegas....we will take a few trips instead.

My aunt made it back to TN safely...she lives near Knoxville also.

Okay...I am adding the newest pic of Mason. We got him a new toy today. 3317333174

09-12-2009, 01:28 AM
just thought that I would pop in before heading off to bed......

we took the kids to Sonic for dinner last night.....they liked it and actually ate all of their dinner (which rarely happens!) and then we had to go to walmart to pick up a couple of things.

we got the invitation today for a friend's wedding in two we will be taking the boys out of school on that Friday and then leaving at about 6am to get down to the Ohio/Indiana border by lunch time so we can check into the hotel and get settled with the kids.

09-12-2009, 10:44 AM
Sue--it's too funny we both got front load washers and dryers yesterday....there's a craft fair every weekend this month in the area...going to the one in my hometown tomorrow--the baby pics are too cute...Dominic loved his saucer...

Mindee--there's a Sonic about 40 minutes away--hubby wants to go...we have never been to one--have fun at the wedding

nothing much going on here...Dominic has a cold and is sleeping terrible so I am soo tired....

09-12-2009, 04:25 PM
just thought I would stop in here quickly.....Tommy went to work today to make some extra money......since he is going to be off on Wednesday it only seemed he is on his way to make the computer payment and then who knows what we will be doing!

we were supposed to go to his work party at the local apple orchard but Tommy went to work with his cousin we will just take them to the apple orchard next month sometime.

Jules~ we hadn't been to one until this one near us opened we have been there three times (first time was without the kids and it was just us....the last two times was as a family). it is nice because we can take the kids out to dinner but don't have to deal with them showing off their meltdowns in restaurants!

09-13-2009, 04:43 AM (
Loving the Fall Weather!! :D

Happy Sunday All! LOL!

I say that sarcastically because I have to go back to work tonight and I will be all alone. My coworker got all 4 of her wisdom teeth pulled out so she took 2 nights off, understandably. I think I am going to use my time alone at work to just relax, well as much as one can at work! HA! No just not have to worry about talking or keeping up the conversation with someone, etc. Not that I really have to worry about that with my coworker, but ya know. lol. I have a new book to read too, "The Time Travelers Wife" so that should keep me busy when I'm not busy working! HA!

Jules -- Are you taking any Iron Pills Hmmmmmm??? lol. I hope you feel better soon. :) My washer is on its last leg too, I kinda wish it would just "kick the bucket" already so I can get a new one! Who woulda thought that one of our "Exciting Moments" in our lives would be to get a new washer/dryer! LOL! But it exciting!! :D Still have not decided on my bday, I am leaning towards not doing anything, just staying at home with DH. But our Anniversary, which is two days later I have to I guess let my husband have some input on! HA! I also am hoping that my coworkers do not make a big deal on my bday, not that I will be at work on my bday, but doesn't matter. I just really kinda what to totally "Forget it" this year! HA!

Suzy Q -- Yeah I feel betterish. As better as I can feel when I am starting my work week. lol!!! Our cats are fine. Bella (the new baby) is spoiled rotten. We saw a shirt at walmart that describes her perfectly -- "I am cute but I bite!" lol. When u pet her for longer than she wants, she bites you, the whole time she is purring away!! LOL! So you have a Cat named MoMo? My mil had one too, his full name was, "Morris Mistletoe" LMAO! It is getting a bit chilly out now, which I am loving, totally love the fall! Facebook can be whatever you want it to be. I used to never ever go there, but then my friends started doing quizzes and wanted me to join in, so I did! HA!

Sue -- So exciting you got new washer/dryer too! I am SOOOOOOO jealous of you and Jules!!! lol. Have a Great Time in Vegas. Now it looks like DH and I may need to postpone our Vegas trip until Feb. He may not be able to get the time off in December. Oh well, we'll get there eventually!

Hi Cristina, Mindee, Francie, and anybody else I may have accidentally forgotten!!

Big

09-13-2009, 01:06 PM
Happy Sunday...enjoy your day!

09-13-2009, 01:35 PM
Dominic shared his cold--feeling bad--going to bed!!!

09-13-2009, 02:12 PM
Jules~Teri added me on FB!!

09-13-2009, 10:37 PM
Hi All.

Jules -- I felt like crapola today. :barf: I feel a little better now, but not 100%. Hope you feel better!

Big

09-14-2009, 12:30 AM
the kiddos for the day! he has to work tomorrow, but it is okay.....the money will be nice. but he in deed has Wednesday off of work.

we went to a neighbors house for a party, and I had gotten the kids plates together and brought them down for them. I then went back up to get mine and Tommy's plates and when I came down, I opened the door and all I remember is opening the door and then ending up on the ground. I got a nice scraped knee and a nice bruise that goes around the lower part of my knee and a lump of some sort in the bruise.

09-14-2009, 08:31 AM

hi everyone. Hope everyone enjoys their day. Jules hope that you feel better. Ok I must run and get ready for work.

09-14-2009, 12:42 PM
Good Morning -

I actually am going to go back to bed. I took Gaby to school and work the swing shift later on.
G and I went shopping Saturday, haircut for her and picked up the house. Added a day to my work schedule because a co worker's spouse passed away last Thursday night, so worked Sunday for her and doing her shift til (hopefully) she comes back. And I added another day today because someone was getting married, so my next day off is Wednesday.....*wah.

Sassy - I don't know where Momo comes from, my nephew named him, I guess that was the only thing he could say...... being 1 years old. lol .......Momo went from my SIL to my mom to me, I have had hime about 3 years now, he is orange and white, 14 pounds and a sweetie. Hope you are feeling better!

Jules -Hope you are feeling better too!

Mindee- Ouch, hope you are ok!

Sue- did you find anything good at the garage sales?

 Cristina, Kathy, Francie and Katy

09-14-2009, 02:51 PM
I really should be doing some things off my to do list, but I am sitting on the computer chatting with my sister and checking my email......I will get to it though! I know for sure that I want to clean off the medicine shelf and top shelf in the linen closet.....but that will probably be it!

09-15-2009, 12:18 AM
Soooooo Sad...........

Patrick Swayze Died (

09-15-2009, 02:17 AM
just thought that I would stop in for a quick second.....I got both sets of parents taken care of for we just need to buy two 16x20 frames for their presents and we will be good to go! I also just ordered us a photo book with some pictures from places and things we done this summer!

09-15-2009, 09:46 PM
Busy day here. I took mom for a hair-do then got a call for "emergency" baby-sitting. LOL. DD had a flat tire and couldn't get home to watch Mason. So...I got him for an extra 2 hours. Have him tomorrow for a couple hours too, but that was planned. :)

Nothing much happening otherwise. Used the new washer/dryer and really like them. Today was my Monday of doing I got that all caught up.

Food = bad
Exercise = worse. Gotta get my head back in the game.

Have a Happy Hump Day tomorrow!

09-15-2009, 10:42 PM
the kids are all in bed, and Tommy is sleeping on the floor! I am starting to get tired myself and it is only 9:30! so, I am sure that it will be an early night for me....I got every thing together that I need for my first appointment, and I have all of my questions and such together for my second appointment!

we are also getting our new carpet done tomorrow after we get that should be fun! my MIL is going to put the boys on the bus for us in case we are not here in time. (which reminds me, I forgot to tell the bus driver when she picked them up today that she might be putting them on the bus....I hope there are no problems!)

09-15-2009, 11:26 PM
ugh - kids are driving me nuts! Weight the same...running going pretty good. I feel pretty ready for Race for the Cure on Sunday. I am still taking donations on my Facebook profile, if anyone is interested. $$ goes toward funding mammograms for the uninsured and underinsured.

The school year is in full swing around here. Soccer has started, and I am busy ferrying the kids around to various things. My classes don't start until October 1st, so I can get everyone else settled before I get real busy.

I need to go have some tea before the Big Brother finale...hope all is well with everyone

09-16-2009, 06:30 PM
Mindee- Sorry..I forget what questions and for what appointment..Losing it here. Anyway, hope it went the way you wanted it to. :)

Katy- You don't have much time until you start classes...did you get a new notebook and pencils? Haha...the best part about a new school year. :) Glad you feel ready to run...I admire that.

Susan- Hope you don't "burn out" from working the extra shifts. You still need time to relax. Actually, I did find a coupdl nice things at the garage sales. DH was looking for tools and found nothing. I wasn't looking, but found an exersaucer and a stroller for Mason. The saucer is just exactlly what I was headed to Target that afternoon to buy and I saved about $35.00. The stroller is one of those little ones that folds up like an umbrella...just to have on hand here in case he comes and needs a walk. They usually bring his big stroller and it is a pain for just a quick stroll. Got it for $2.00.

Hope the rest of you gals are feeling better...

I watched Mason yesterday and today..he was so cute and cuddly.

Dr. tomorrow for the dreaded yearly and yes...paps..ugh. Then to make an appt. for the yearly and dreaded mammo. Hate both, but I will do it. Just need new scripts for my medicines and I will be good for another year. No problems to spout off about this year. *knock wood*

Going to ride the bike later as it is really cooler out there. I have to quit thinking of excuses to NOT exercise.

09-17-2009, 02:06 AM
Well, today has been a busy day to say the least! (okay, so it is now yesterday but it is all good!)

I went in for my first appointment with the sliding fee lady, and got approved for that! So, I can now go to the doctors now, when needed, and only pay a $10 co-pay. So, that is reassuring to me!

I had to go back up to the window before I got called back in to talk to that lady because the receptionist didn't realize that I had put two times down for the appointment I had to go back up there and explain every thing and while I was in the process of filling out the paperwork, I got called in for my appointment with the sliding fee lady.

I then went back in for my actual appointment, and was talking with the nurse. They had me do a pregnancy test there in the office, and it came back negative. So, then the residcent came in and we were talking and I explained every thing to her. She then asked me if I would like to get a beta done to get a definite answer, and I said "yes please." Then she asked me if I had/have any other symptoms besides the different period and the nasuea. I said that I had a list of the symptoms and she asked if she could see I showed it to her. She left the room to talk to the midwife. She came back into the room and said that Joanne (the midwife) recommends an ultrasound instead of a beta and if I had any problems with getting an ultrasound done instead.

They left the room and then came back about 5 minutes or so later. They got the show on the road and were trying to see what they could see, but since my bladder wasn't that full they really couldn't see much. BUT she did tell me that the lining of my uterus is really thick. (and I am guessing that it shouldn't be since I had the bleeding from September 6th through the 9th)

They were looking around and the resident had made a comment about looking to see if they could see what they had used for my tubal. Joanne said that if they used clamps we would be able to see them since they show up on the ultrasound. We looked around, and Joanne said that it looked like she could see one, but again wasn't 100% sure because my bladder wasn't full enough.

She then told me that there is a failure rate with a tubal and it is usually the 5 to 7 year mark. And then she asked me how long after I had Marissa had I had the tubal done.....I told her it was a couple hours later and she then said that that makes the failure rate go up higher.

then she told me that she wanted to see me back in a week for a recheck and we will go from there. she told me that it didn't look like I was 8 or 9 weeks pregnant, but more like 4 weeks or so. She gave me a specimen cup to collect my first morning pee in and to bring it to the clinic with me for my appointment. She then told me that if I am indeed not pregnant then she will give me a prescription for provera to get the linig to shed and then it should hopefully bring AF back to normal.

we came home, Tommy got the house moved around while I got the boys on the bus. I came in and put Marissa down for a nap, and then we ended up taking a nap for about 20 minutes or so waiting for the carpet guy to show took 5 hours but it is all done now and it looks great!

all in all, i feel a little less confused as to what is going on.....but I am comforted knowing that I am in good hands with Joanne. And if I am indeed pregnant, then I would love to continue on with her as a patient of hers. don't get me wrong, I love doctors, but for some reason I feel like I was meant to be a patient of hers for some reson.

Sue~ You are not losing it, apparently I am because I had thought that I had mentioned it in here!

Katy~ That sounds like me....with the kids driving me crazy! Good luck with your run this coming Sunday!

09-17-2009, 01:45 PM
Good Morning!

Mindee- You might be pregnant? Did I miss a post? I hope you find out for sure soon, I think that is kind of exciting. I really would love to have another baby, but I am getting too old now. Did you get the carpet laid down?? I love the smell new carpet.

Katy - Yay, I didn't know you were running in the Race for the Cure, good for you. How many classes will you be taking? We'll probably never hear from you til Winter I am excited for you , sounds like a lot of fun stuff going on in your life :)

Sue - I SURVIVED swing shift! I need to get a t-shirt and put that on it. haha I hated it, seemed ok the first night but by the third it sucked big time. I didn't even sleep during the day yesterday (my day off), just forced myself to stay up and get back on track. Took Gabster to bed early and slept all night. I loved the umbrella strollers when I was still using them , very easy to throw in the back of the car and just go. When I took Gab to Hawaii I picked up a used one to push Gab around in. Hope the medical appt goes well! :)

Francie - HUGS to you!

Sassy & Jules - you gals feeling better?

Cristina - where are you??? miss you here.

I made Gaby mashed potatoes and a cheese hamburger last night for dinner.I had chicken and veggies.

Afterward she read and I watched CNN. She was so cute.....she said "you can watch tv and I am going to read in my head so I won't bother you" and she pointed to her head when she said it,,,,, I said fine and a split second later she turns the first page and says "I like to read fast"......haha. After another few pages she sounds annoyed and says "where's the pictures?!?!" I told her not all books have pictures. Which btw I am reading "The woman next door."

I better get ready for work. Yikes, time zooms!

09-18-2009, 02:38 PM
Good Morning -

Where is everyone???

I just wanted to say hi, especially to Kathy! I forgot to include you yesterday. Hope you are ok and not getting to tired w/ the job. Were you doing the 3 to 11 shift?

I better get to work.

Come out and play! Chat later.

09-18-2009, 03:50 PM
Hi eveyone.

Just a quick hello, as I have to go to work.

Yup SusieQ I have been working the 3-11 shift. On Wednesday I am back to 7-3. I am completely exhausted and losing my mind. This morning I woke up about 3am because I could smell something stinky, (like just fresh dog poop), and I rolled over to make sure hubby's depends product was put on properly. I of course will never tell him that. Never did figure out what the smell was, but it woke me up 3 times. Hubby thought that it was a skunk outside the window. I hope that you are not to tired doing your extra shifts at work.

I must run and get supper in the crock pot. I'll BBL

09-18-2009, 04:06 PM
just thought I would stop in here while I had the chance.....the boys are at school and Tommy and Marissa went and did some running around! it is nice having the house to myself!!!!

Tommy called his cousin last night to see if what time he wanted him to meet him at his house, and his cousin told him that he could take the lay off and collect unemployment since right now things are slow and next week is looking like rain all week!

SuzieQ~ It is looking like I might be pregnant again.....even though I had my tubes tied right after Marissa was born.

gotta grab something to eat my tummy is hungry after cleaning the house!

Just dropping by to say Hi....

...Susan...guess I kinda got tired of talking to myself here, no one really posted till you came back... but didn't come here much anyway. After not coming here for so long I forget to come. I lurk around the boards/threads but...I don't know...thinking my 3fc days may be coming to an end slowly but surely.

And the weight loss and exercise is just the same old boring crap..tired of doing it, tired of talking about it...blah! Just wanna be lazy and fat I guess. Anyway...

Have a wonderful weekend all!

Hello chickies...
Not lots going on here today. DH and I went to a couple garage sales this a.m. as he is looking for tools. We didn't buy a thing. :) Then Mom and I went to Wal-Mart to pick up some things. I did some laundry (still love the new washer/dryer) and cleaned the kitchen. I said nothing but the same old same old stuff. LOL

Cristina- We have to pop in here from time to time just to keep up with everyone. I am like you, I get tired of even talking about weighing is just a battle at times. But hey, we can still gab.

Cristina, Susan, Kathy, Mindee, Sassy, Katy, Francie, Julie- Hope you all have a wonderful week-end.
Thank you all for the adds on FB. If anyone farms and is not my neighbor feel free to add me on both farms. I also Farkle and I am going to TRY Bejewelled as I did it online before, but didn't do too well.

I will try to be more vocal....

09-19-2009, 02:55 AM
stopping by before going to bed......nothing really special on the plans for this weekend.....we are laying low since we are going to Ohio next weekend for Tommy's best friend's wedding.

09-19-2009, 12:23 PM
Mindee--Teri is using the Mirena form of birth control--she had one scare, but turned out she wasn't pregnant, just the bloating, breast tenderness etc that comes with a normal period that she didn't get due to the Mirena...she loves not having periods. Are you excited/scared...a little of both...

Sue-our washer/dryer were delivered yesterday..I love quiet compared to the 20 year plus old ones. Getting ready to get them was another story...I was just going to paint and he was going to just put in some new valves and hoses...right...hubby took up some of the vinyl squares we had put down and ended up having to replace a part of the floor due to some water damage...we couldn't find matching squares so we had to tear up everything and ended up putting down a piece of new linoleum (sp?)....we got free delivery but weren't quite ready when they came so we did all the hooking up....we left work at one on Thursday to get supplies and started until we could do no more and then finished up on Friday, Teri brought Dominic over as I was finishing putting back the free standing rack we use as our pantry in that area...good thing the mud/room/pantry/laundry area is only 6 X 8.....boy were we tored last night..

Christina--I didn't post much anywhere for a while...just read everyone else's mostly, was so stressed with everything the parents were going through...

Kathy--too funny about your hubby needing his diaper changed....I actually liked the 3-11 shift....I am just not a mornign person even though I have to get up to go to work when the alarm rings before 6 am....

Suzy--finally feeling better, now exhausted from working on the prep for the washer and dryer...I hated working rotating shifts and I don't know how Sassy does the overnight shift....I just finished reading Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman, I pictured Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bulock the whole time...I haven't seen the movie for awhile and I didn't even know there was a book, I picked up a few of hers cause a read one called the Story Sisters...dark and twisty but I liked it, another one of her's went beyond dark and twisty to full on depressing...called Here on Earth. I need to take these back to the library and get some new ones...

Hi to everyone else!!

BTW..I tried to read My Sister's Keeper but I have been through too much cancer I could finish it, I may try again later....

Hubbys...bellowing...gotta go....

09-20-2009, 07:07 AM
Hi Everybody.

I feel like crapola. :barf: At least I only have two nights to work this week!!! YAY! Taking off Tuesday night (9/22) using up the rest of my vacation time as we get our new vacation time dump next month so have to use this or lose it! lol.

Well we're going bowling Friday night for my bday. I didn't really want too but my friends kinda insisted. lol. So shall be fun I guess. lol.......hopefully I will feel better by then. Then Thursday DH & I are going to KY to stay in a hotel that has a jacuzzi in the room! HOO-YEAH! lol. We also plan on going out to eat and maybe going to the Aquarium too. We're doing all that for our Anniversary, which is technically Saturday, but we are celebrating early because we both have to back to work that following Sunday. So hopefully on our Saturday we can just relax around the house. The house is clean so no worries there! lol.

I am currently reading "The Time Travelers Wife" pretty good. Well thats about it from my end.

Big

09-20-2009, 09:14 AM
Sassy--Hope you get to feeling better. Glad you are going to do something fun for your bday!! The anniversary trip sounds awesome. We went to the big aquarium in Cattanooga TN when we were in NC. I miss picking the kids up in NC, so beautiful. I have always wanted to go to the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, but have never made it.

It's early--Dominic woke me up and went back to sleep. I am not sure what time Teri is coming to get him. She had a paper to get done for one class and a test to study for in another. So glad she quit working at the bar. Need to go to the grocery store, think I am going to make a lentil loaf and baked's kind of chilly here. TOM has came for a visit, feeling crampy along with my other aches and pains. Still hoping my fingernail doesn't fall off where I smashed it--the nail bed is totaly bruised. It's a purply blue combo right now...

well, off to make coffee...

09-20-2009, 03:25 PM
we had a great day yesterday.......we went out to see a guy that Tommy used to work with to get some Coke points.....then we went out to the mall near there and walked around. the kids played and then we took the water way home. we pulled over a couple of times and watched the freighters going by. then we came home and had some dinner.....Tommy went and picked up our friend from work and she offered to watch the kids for us. so we went out to a local carnival and then went bowling.

today we are just hanging out relaxin........I cleaned and mopped the bathroom and kitchen floors. now I am on the computer and hanging out while the kids are supposed to be napping.....we are going to Ohio this coming weekend for Tommy's best friend's wedding.....we are leaving at 6am on Friday morning and will be home on Sunday night. I think we are taking the laptop with I might get a chance to get online, but I might not!

Jules~ I am a little of both right now......I am scared because we are already strapped but we are still floating as far as money. we would have to buy a lot of things again because we gave every thing away when Marissa was done with it. I am actually kind of excited as well because I want to have a baby back in the house! we will know more on Tuesday what is going on.

09-20-2009, 03:49 PM
Mindee-I can see where it would be a little of both, but everything seems to work out--will bee waiting to see what you find out. Have fun at the wedding. What part of Ohio are you going too? Isn't Sassy in Ohio?? Maybe you two can hook up...

went to the new TJMaxx store they put in near our mall...looking for some long pants for Dominic since the weather is cooling down..I have mostly shorts, I found him two pairs but no shirts, I got a really nice lined basket to sit on the washer for the laundry supplies until hubby builds a new shelf...four new shirts for me and a toy heliocopter for him then we went to Bath and Body Works...I had a free trial size sample and a 20% off coupon and jar candles and plugins were on house now smells like apples...then finished up at walmart for some groceries and odds and ends...Dominic fell asleep before we got home...he's napping now...I really should join him..Teri will be here before too long to get him...ooohh..she might get her job back at The Children's Place--she doesn't want to be in management though..she just wants to be a regular worker and finish school and she babysits her friends little girl two days a week while the friend is in class. It's the same friend that babysat Dominic for almost 6 months. Her little girl Mela will be 1 in December...Dominic loves her even though he gets a little jealous sharing his Mommy.

well...gonna get off of here and get soemthing done...

09-20-2009, 05:18 PM
I am at work so need to be fast!

Just wanted to sat hi, will chat more tomorrow. Having a good weekend w/ eating, even had the scale go down a bit. Celebrated w/ a slice of cake. haha
Look forward to a day off tomorrow!

hugs to everyone!

09-21-2009, 01:30 AM
just thought I would stop in here really quickly......

Jules~ I agree.....things work out one way or another. I have to remember to pee into the specimen cup in the morning on Tuesday and then take it with me. I am not sure if Sassy is in Ohio or not, I am drawing a blank right now. We are going to be in Chillicothe Ohio.

09-21-2009, 04:49 AM
Hola All.

Well good news is I am feeling better. Bad news is I am at work. LMAO! Oh well only 4.5 hours left of this shift then I only have 11.5 tonight and thats it for this week!! :D

Jules -- I am feeling better TG. I was worried I'd be sick at work all night long, so I am very thankful I am feeling better! ;) Yeah I suppose I'll have fun. lol. I just hardly ever go out anymore so when we do its like pulling teeth for me to go, even if its for my bday! lol. Guess it will be good for me. My TOM is late. She usually comes religiously every 20th, so far nothing. I'm not getting my hopes up because just could be it being irregular again. But we can hope, right!!! :crossed:
What is Terri going to school for? I think thats great. :) Ouchy sorry to hear about your finger..........

Big  to all.

09-21-2009, 11:03 AM
Good morning...Laundry day, so I am giving the new set a workout. Actually had to check if it was running is so quiet.
Gloomy and overcast here, so I am going out to ride as soon as I get my beds re-made. Washed the mattress pads so have to wait...and I can not stand to have beds un-made, so it is driving me crazy. LOL
Nothing else I can report here. Things are quiet from all children and "grands." I don't know if that is good or bad...haha.

Talk to you all later.

09-21-2009, 01:22 PM
Checking in...managed to lose a pound at WI today. I ran the Race for the Cure yesterday! My first road race! We celebrated at the Lucky Lab , and I had the vegan pizza and a pint of beer. Combine that with TOM, and I was not at all sure I would have a loss today...but there you go.

Cristina - Happy Grand baby day! Looking forward to seeing some pics

Sue - I love my front loader, very quiet and uses much less H2O. Hopefully you will have a drama-free day...( take the phone off the hook, lol)

Susan- Hope you have a great day at work - yay for the loss

Mindee - fingers crossed for tomorrow - things will be the way they are supposed to be. What a surprise! I had a tubal, too, but have passed my year 5 and year 7, plus I am OLD, so I'm not too worried about failure rates over here. Right now I am getting hot flashes and I think fertility is the last thing my bod is concerned with right now, lol.

Jules -It's great that school and work are going so well for Teri. Children's Place would be a great place to work...I shop there alot for Leigh. I rad My Sister's Keeper and I won't spoil it for you, but I absolutely HATED the ending. I am in a minority on that viewpoint, I'm afraid. It really sucked. That was the third Picoult book I read where I thought she really bailed on her characters to throw in a totally implausible ending and I pretty much decided that I'm not going to read her books for awhile until I stop being mad at her. I take my reading very personally can you tell?

Sassy- fingers crossed for you, too, lady :) Glad you are feeling better. I LOVED Time Traveler's Wife. Haven't seen the movie, but heard it wasn't nearly as good as the book.

Well, I need to get in the shower, then work my way through a pile of paperwork in the office. Oh, found out this morning that there was a case of swine flu at a friend's middle school . Not our district, but one next to us...getting a little too close to home, and the vaccines aren't available for a few more weeks. Ugh - must call pediatrician today, too. So , looks like I will be busy today...have a good one, everyone!

09-21-2009, 01:49 PM
Good Morning -

Katy - I was meaning to ask how the Race for the Cure went for you over on FB but time was ticking. I am glad it went ok, what an accomplishment! Enjoy your sunny Monday.

Kathy - What did you make in the crock pot?? Ick to 3pm to 11pm shift, it was hard for me. How does Cole like it? Gaby missed me too much in the evening, I missed our whole routine and didn't like sleeping half the morning away. Blah - blah. Ya, I guess the memory made me crazed. lol I don't know how Sassy does it either. You're our hero Sassy! Anyway, you back to the 7 to 3? I really like my 11 to 7:30 shift.

Cristina - Ya, I hear you! Weight chat gets to be a drag at times. I guess focus more on the friendships and it is somewhat bearable. lol I needed the summer break to take a breather myself. Lillian will be here on the 23rd? Is that the due date? You are going to be in baby heaven! Jealous.

Sue - I don't know, sometimes when it is too quite is the time to be worrying. lol I hope everyone in your family is just busy, busy. It is a beautiful day here on the west coast! Need to get outside and work in the yard today.

Jules- I hope you are feeling better w/ TOM, I hate that time of month. What is a lentil loaf? I had Sisters Keeper but heard the ending wasn't so good so didn't bother. I am w/ Katy, some of Picoult's books are a let down at the end. I am still trying to get through The Woman Next Door.

Mindee- Sounds like you all had a nice weekend! Cross fingers for Tuesday, I would love a baby in the house too. :)

Hi to Francie

I better dash....need to get some errands done and work some at the house. Rach went back to school today. THANK GOD....she only has 1 test for her GED, she missed the Spring/Summer term. Hope she has a good day today at school.

anyway, chat more later!

09-21-2009, 03:03 PM
just thought I would stop in while I have some free time......

I have already done some cleaning, did some paperwork, and now I am on here putzing around before our friends come over to visit.

09-21-2009, 08:52 PM
mindee--have fun with your friends!!

suzy--feeling a little better..darn thing is just early..I'll be glad when I am done. here's a link to the lentil loaf ( I tweak mine a liitle and add mushrooms...ended up making tacos instead...

Katy--I get that way myself..I hate a rushed or unbelieveable ending in a book too. I loved Dennis Lehane's Shutte Island, can't wait for the movie to come out, was disappointed with what they did with his Gone Baby Gone book to movie. SO PROUD of you doing the race!!!

Sue--no news is good news...right...I am still loving the washer and dryer...hubby thinks it's funny...

Sassy--hubby is a homebody and I seem to be turning that way myself...(ps...fingers crossed!!)

Cristina, Kathy & Franice--hope all is well!!

well..I am tired..gonna do a couple of things and head off to bed...

09-21-2009, 10:12 PM
just thought I would pop on here....the kids are all sleeping and Tommy is watching Gang Wars on tv.

my appointment is in the morning and I am hoping to get some kind of answers! I have been eating like I normally do, but I keep gaining weight. (it wasn't noticeable to anyone else......until Tommy looked at me the other day and said "have you been gaining weight?" he wasn't meaning it in a bad way or anything, he was just asking me.....and I told him that I haven't changed my eating so I don't know why)

09-22-2009, 05:55 AM
Morning Ladies! :D

Well I am down to 3.5 hours to go! Then I'm off for 5 days! WOO-HOO! :carrot:
Katy - WTG on the Race!! :bravo: Thanks and yes I'm loving the book so far too. That is what happens with most books that turn into movies, the movies aren't nearly as good at the books are! ;)
Jules - Nothing wrong with being homebodies. I just feel like I've done all my running around now I just want to relax! lmao! Thanks for the fingers :crossed: So far she hasn't shown her ugly face yet! We shall see!!

Big  to all!!!

09-22-2009, 12:57 PM
Good Morning -

Mindee- Let us know what the results are today!

Sassy - What are you going to do w/ 5 days off? Sounds like heaven.

Jules- I looked at the lentil loaf recipe, looks doable, considering my limited abilities. :D. Sounds yummy. Were you able to rest?

I skipped to the end of TWND and decided to start my next book, "Daniel isn't Talking", hope that turns out to be more enjoyable.
Not good news on Rach and her GED class, it is her own fault ........but still as a mother it is painful to watch your child struggle.
Gab and I watched Cloudy/Meatballs yesterday.....please ..way too much food even for me. lol It was ok, Gab liked it, that is all that matters. I look forward to seeing Fantastic Mr.Fox in Novemeber with the voices of Clooney and Meryl Streep, that should be good. Otherwise I need to take myself to see Julie/Julia this weekend. I will buy myself some popcorn and hold my own hand! I don't need a date! :carrot:
Holding at 150, bleh........can't seem to get it back down.

 to Francie, Sue, Katy, Kathy, and Cristina! Hope you all are having a great Tuesday.

k- off to work I go.

09-22-2009, 01:33 PM

Cristina - Congrats on the new grandbaby!! I love the pictures on FB, she is beautiful and you looked so happy in the photo's. Enjoy her!!!

09-22-2009, 02:27 PM
well, we have been back from my doctor's appointment for a little bit now. The boys are at school, Marissa is sleeping and Tommy went to his mom's to wash our clothes. (I will have to wash the kids clothes and such probably tomorrow)

I am going to make a list of things that we want to do while we are in Ohio this coming weekend! there is so much going on that it is kind of nice....that way we won't be sitting around the hotel wondering what to do!

Every thing went well at my appointment. I am still not showing anything on the ultrasound, so as of right now, I am not pregnant. My lining is still super thick, so my doctor Joanne said "it looks like you are about to get pregnant or you are going to bleed." So, I have to call back in two weeks if I have not started my period and make an appointment. I will then get another ultrasound and if nothing shows up on that one, then she will give me a prescription for the provera to start my period. She did tell me also that if I do start to bleed, it looks like it might be a heavy one, and to not be surprised or think that something is wrong. And if I have any pains that are unbearable I am to high tail it to the hospital.

09-22-2009, 02:43 PM
Just popping in really quickly to say hello to everyone.

:congrat::cheers::cheer::dance: to our Nana. She is beautiful, and have to say looks like she has one very proud Daddy. His smile says it all. Was her mom there also? Also one question, how cold does your winters get there?

SusieQ- will Cole like the movie? Or should we wait until it comes out on video?

Must run, I'll BBL

09-22-2009, 10:35 PM
stopping in while I can.....the kids are all sleeping.....well Marissa isn't but what can you do, huh?

I ended up making home made pizzas for dinner, and now I think I am done with pizza for a while! I can't wait for our trip this weekend!!!! don't be surprised if you see a TON of new pictures from me after this weekend!

09-22-2009, 11:45 PM
Quick question for Jules, now that we have 1 grandbaby to fuss over, when is our next one arriving? Just getting you used to the question because I know I will be asking lots!

Cristina are you getting any sleep or are you still to excited?

Have a good night everyone.

09-23-2009, 01:03 AM
Hola Amigas!! ( ( ( ( ( ( (
First, ( to Miss Cristina! Lily is beautiful!

Secondly its my first day of "vacation" and do ya think I could have slept in? Nope. Up at the same time that I get up for work! UGH! But I did get a lot done at least! I cooked dinner for DH and myself and packed DH's lunch for work tonight. I swept up all the darn leaves that keep getting brought into the kitchen. lol. I love Autumn but I hate that part of it! Lets just keep Autumn outside, k? LOL!

Still no sign of AF yet! I am gonna wait and test Thursday I think. That may be a bit early since I usually start on the 20th and Thursday will only be 4 days late, but I kinda wanna know if I can drink at my bday party or not.........What do you girls think?? Input??? lol.

I was watching "The Secret Lives of Women" on the WE (Women's Entertainment) tv channel and it was kinda cool. It was about differently shaped women, there was a woman that was a little person, then a really tall woman and then a curvaceous woman (or plus size but I HATE that!!! lol) Well the Curvaceous woman and her bff opened a dance club that is geared toward Plus Size women. I mean everybody is welcome, but heavier women can go and dance and have fun and not feel subconscious. She has a great attitude, she excepts herself the way she is and doesn't let that slow her down. I thought that was a great message, I mean don't get me wrong, I still wanna get healthier and lose weight, but I liked her attitude because I have always been ashamed of my weight. Even though people tell me all the time I have great skin and beautiful eyes, I still think "Yeah but I have a fat ***" lol. Anywho, just wanted to share cuz I thought it was a great idea!

Suzy Q -- Well only 1 day is a vacation day (today) and the rest are my normal days off, but yeah it does rock having that many off in a row and it will be my last until I take my vacation in October, because starting next month we start our new schedules, but anywho, tonight and tomorrow I plan on doing a whole lot of nuttin! lol. Then Thursday DH and I are going to a Hotel in KY that has Themed Rooms. We're not getting one of those, but a Spa Suite (has a jacuzzi in the room!!), that I have a coupon for!! LOL!! Then we are probably going to the Aquarium and maybe this Amish place that has a little shop and sells furniture. Then Friday is my Bday Party. We are having it at the local Bowling Alley. I figured that was something different and fun to do. I do need to color my hair and buy a new outfit or at least a new blouse for Friday. Then Saturday, that is our Anniversary, so I'm not sure what we'll do, maybe go out to dinner or have dinner "in"?? lol. So thats it. Then Sunday night its back to work!!! YAY! LMAO! I love Meryl Streep, she is one of my fav actresses. I read Julie/Julia and it was pretty good, you'll have to let me know how the movie is!!!

Mindee -- Keeping fingers crossed :crossed: for ya, if you keep yours crossed :crossed: for me!! ;) to answer your question, yes I am in Ohio. I am in Loveland, Ohio, which is about 15 miles NE of Cincinnati and we are about 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Chillicothe. I believe one of my Professors in College was from Chillicothe.

Hi Kathy!! Hi Everybody out there!!

Big  ( ( ( ( ( ( (

09-23-2009, 03:02 AM
just thought I would pop in beforing heading off to bed!

Sassy~ It's a deal! I will definitely keep my fingers crossed for you! I explained to Tommy what the doctor had told me and he said "come on bleeding!" He doesn't realize that I already ovulated this cycle, and we timed our adult time around it. so we shall see what the next few weeks have to offer!

09-23-2009, 09:25 PM
Mindee--how is Marissa adjusting to the boys in school? Have fun in Ohio!!

Sassy--I liked the darker red, I am partial to red...with the way you do your makeup your brown eye's pop!! Do I have your new addy??

Kathy--Ry and Tonya's little bundle will arrive in April..Ry's bday is April 1, so we will see...I can't wait til I can take Dominic to the movies!!

Suzy--it's actually pretty easy. I am still kind of's been really busy at work and home improvement didnt help any...I guess I am just getting old..

Cristina--Congrats again on that beautiful baby girl!!

well I am going to play some more Cubis and Autumn bejeweled and go to bed!!

09-24-2009, 12:23 AM
just thought that I would pop in here......I need to get a lot of stuff done tomorrow while the boys are in school! the main thing is to get every thing packed.....since we are going to pack the van up after the kids are asleep tomorrow night.

09-24-2009, 07:18 AM
Happy Birthday to Sassy!!! Have fun on your trip!!

09-26-2009, 04:55 AM
Hi Girls!

Yes my bday was so fun! I will hopefully be posting pics next week when my friend sends them to me! :) DH and I had fun at the hotel with the spa. I also have some pics from that. No nothing bad! lol Just something that was at the hotel that I found quite hilarious!

Anywho, today is our Anniversary, 11 years. ;) So we plan on doing a whole of nothing today. DH is cooking me din din. But that is about it for today. We've been running around the last few days we just want to stay home and relax and enjoy!

Oh I took 3 preg. tests. 1 did not work at all, and the other too were negative. I have another I plan on taking in a few days just be sure. Cuz its just weird that for so many months now my period has been starting the same day every month then all of a sudden it stops? I know I have PCOS and have had irregular periods but it just seems weird to me........But I don't wanna get my hopes up. I pretty much just accept that its negative.........:( But doesn't mean I'm gonna give up! :D

Big  Everybody and THANKS for all the Bday wishes!!!

Happy Saturday All!

Nothing going on...thinking I am going to go take a nap, got up too early for a Sat, lol.

KATHY...all is home and well. Yes, Sunday dinner is a go as usual. Wasn't sure Charlotte wanted to take the baby out so soon, I probabaly wouldn't but she took her out and about Thursday or Wal-Mart! How is your job, are you liking it?

SUSAN...yay to Rebecca and her getting the job! It's a start for sure.

JULES...did ya get something good to read yesterday? I have been trying to get back to reading but it's just not happening, still working on Stiff...funny, it really makes you think about things that one (me anyway) would never think about, what they do with the bodies that are donated to science.

MINDEE...hope you guys are enjoying your trip.

SASSY...a very HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you and the hubby today!

SUE...did I see something about Ty?

Hi to everyone else

Sorry I'm not doing a great job on catching's all I have, lol. I am pooped!

Happy Saturday!

Gab and I lounged around in our pj's til 1pm.Now we are out and about. I told her "I HAVE to go to the library!" So, she is happy doing a game next to me on the computer. Course that could change any minute! She is sooooo demanding.

Kathy - I thought you were done w/ the night shift??

Cristina - I probably waited a week before I would go out w/ my newborns. btw - wal mart is coming to town here, in about 18 months. I would prefer a Target store myself since I find more clothes there for gab but it will be nice to have an option. Hope you are getting some rest :)

Sassy - can't wait for the pictures! happy anniversary :)

I better go, I smell like dirt. lol I left my pants in the car overnight and my water bottle leaked and got them all wet and I dryed them not realizing they must have soaked in some dirt from the floor....yada, they have dirt stains and I smell musty. Always a problem, huh? lol
I need to go get some cleaning supplies, pick up some video's for Gab and go home and clean! Nothing too exciting here.
Oh, thanks for the congrats on Becky, she will be making pizza's........and earning her pocket money.

anyway - chat more later.

just thought I would stop in here quickly to let you all know that we made it home safely! it was a lot of fun.......and a much needed break!

to answer the question about the jack and tools.......Tommy had them under the stairs that lead upstairs. the door has been locked up until about a month ago. Between then and the second day of school on September 10th, his jack and tools went somebody stole them from under the stairs and nobody seems to know who took them or where they went.

Happy Monday!

Yeah, whatever,'s Monday, ugh! is more like it.

SUSAN...yeah, I prefer Target also...I like their clothes, just about everything but the groceries...they are a little high on the prices there. Did ya make it to the library? Any good reading? I've got to get back in the knack of reading., those days off go by fast! Have fun at work ;)

MINDEE...I was a little confused by the wording I think, wondering what the tools missing had to do with leaving Thursday instead of Friday. Sorry someone took his tools, that sucks! Also, glad you guys had a great weekend!

Hello to everyone else

Managed to get my walk in this morning, it was a little cool with that wind blowing...didn't do my allergies any good either. But it's done and I'm not gonna let the allergies bring me down. I am slacking on the exercise and it's gotta be done so...going to do a dvd in a bit and call it good. I've got to get back in the habit of doing the weights again or come winter I'm afraid my arms are going to be killing me! Anyway...nothing else going on...

Hope everyone has a great day!

Busy, busy, wrapping up lots of things here and getting ready to leave Sat. for LV....then my week with my DD and DGS in sunny CA.
Today I did lots of laundry and took my car for an oil change. Cleaned out the fridge and made a couple things to freeze for DH to eat while I am gone.
Tomorrow I am cleaning up some things in the yard and cleaning house. Will probably actually start packing..I am always way early doing that. I put things in the suitcase then take things out three or four times before I go. I am always amazed at people who can throw things in a bag and go...wish I were more spontaneous, but I have
Hope you are all having a wonderful week. Has it turned to Fall weather where you are? It is very chilly and damp here.
