My w/i days are Thurs since I just started on Sep 3! If u all w/i on Sundays, u can put me down as no change this week and I will report my weight the following Sunday. Is that helpful?

Good evening! It looks like everyone is doing really well.
A pat on the back to Alana, Tudor Rose, and KayKay22 .... great losses!! ;)
I weighed in this morning. I lost 1.8 lbs this week. Not as much as I had hoped for but I have heard slow and steady is the way to go. I am doing my best to be patient and realize that it won't happen over night.

Hi all! Monday is my weigh in day, and I am down 5 pounds from last week! YAY! :dancer:
My last few feeks have been kind of wimpy so I was really excited that it finally caught up!!

Hi All,
I am up 3.4!... but I am not gonna sound the alarms because I know exactly why this is.
I have discontinued my BP meds this week, which is good news, but they are also diuretics, so u can imagine the water I am retaining! Also, it's PMS time, YEAH! :D Furthermore, and to top it all off... it's Ramadan for us... does anyone out there know what that is?
Anyways, I know this sounds totally excusatory, but the old me would have used this gain as an excuse to give up. I am proud of myself for being able to understand the root of it all.

noussa I agree with you and don't worry about the slight gain.
Congrats on dropping the drugs! I too have just been given the thumbs up and discontinued my bp drugs--after 8 years! my dr. said the ww and exercise must be doing me some good even if I don't see a big loss on the scales. I have noticed I am retaining the water especially in my feet.
And yes I do know what Ramadan is and PMS LOL

I got on the scale this morning for the first time in about a month and was happy to learn I hadn't gained back the 10 I lost in June and July. My weight is 245.4. :D Fridays will be my weigh-in day. Now to start a new plan. I spent the past few days at my daughters in NH - that's why the delay.

I lost another 1.6 this week
While that is of course great, I'm actually really excited about the fact that I'm out of the 280s! I haven't seen 279 on the scale in a very, very, very long time. This just made my whole day!

Nancy - I am -.4 this week. After my big loss last week, that feels kind of wimpy! But - at least it is in the right direction, I guess. :) Hopefully next week will be better.

I gained 2 lbs this week. I found out that I was no longer getting laid off and did quite a bit of celebrating. :^: It obviously shows. But I plan on working double hard this week to get rid of those 2 and a few more!

I didn't get to weigh in last week.. on here anyway. School has been some kind of crazy!!! Last week I was down 1.4 and for this weeks weigh in I am down .8. I have lost a total of 5.2 pounds so far which is awesome. I was hoping to lose the pounds a little quicker, but I will settle for this slow loss. I can reallllly tell I've been losing by the way my clothes fit/look. If I have been doing my measurements correct I've lost two inches in my hips and thighs!!! Woohoo!
Anyway, I will try my hardest not to skip weigh in again. I must get to class now.

Well, in spite of making positive changes I weighed in at 246 this morning. I have been exercising each day so maybe that's the increase but it's frustrating when you hope for a loss. I will keep trying and I do think I am going to use measurements too. Have a good day to all. Sue

I lost another 1.8 this week! Go me! I definitely used more of my weeklies this week, and I was a little nervous because in past weeks I hadn't. I know they are there for a reason, but I still was worried I'd use them and it would backfire. But it didn't! So I'll definitely be using more of them from now on.

Sue - it will catch up with you....sounds like you have made some great changes....it just takes a bit of time for your body to catch up, but IT WILL!! :)
My week hasn't been all that great for weight loss..........:(
TOM + being ravenous + eating out + NOT journaling = +2.0lbs this week! (No surprise there!) :^:
Oh well - I am disappointed in myself, but that is the first gain that I have had since I started this journey 12 weeks ago.....so I will just have to get over it and move on!

I was in such a rush this morning that I didn't even think about weighing in.
I thought about it 30 minutes ago.
I will have to leave myself a sticky note on the bathroom mirror next week! :dizzy:
I did pretty good last week. This weekend I went a little over my points but nothing drastic. I hope to see big changes next week!!!

Congrats we are having a good September! I am really nervous about my wiegh in wed, this past weekend I went on a mini vacation an ate poorly, drank way to much wine and have not worked out since last thurs...so wednesday I expect a gain

My weigh in this morning kept me at 246 - I guess it's better than gaining. I have been under some anxiety the past few days and haven't followed my plan as well as I'd like so I guess the fact that I haven't gained isn't such bad news for me. Sue no gain, no loss. Thanks :(

Congrats Allie and KayKay! Those are wonderful losses.
I weighed in this morning and lost 1.2 lbs. Not near what I had hoped for (but it never really is).
When I started, I had set a mini-goal of reaching 235 lbs by Oct 29th. I've got 5 weeks left and 20 lbs to go. That is 4 lbs a week which is really stretching it. However, I didn't want to change my mini-goal since it now seems unrealistic. Instead, I am going to bust my rump and see just how close I can get. After all, any loss is better than nothing at all, right? :p
This was my last weigh in for September. I'm ready to start October off with a bang. I look forward to hearing of the many losses this week. Have a great week everyone. :hug:

I am -2.2 for this past week. I do feel better now that I lost what I gained last week......but it is so frustrating to have setbacks like that! :halfempty That's a total loss of 5.6 for the month of September. I was really hoping to do better than that!!

I was a little nervous about this weekend because I was going to be visiting my sister in DC and knew we'd be eating out a lot. But it looks like all the walking we did around the city paid off, as I lost 4.6 lbs this week!!

Thanks tudor I am only hopeful that I will not 'gain' it back next week. this is just too freaky for me....as a rule I only lose 3-4 pounds a month--if that!

Finally lost a wopping 1.8 pounds!!!! This is slow but the loss does feel good. I attibute it to exercise which I upped this week. 246 lbs to 244.2
Now I need to work on getting out of the 240s. Hope all are doing well. I have been very busy lately. sue :)
