Default VERY excited...

I am only a week and 2 days into my attempt at loosing weight this time, but I am already seeing a difference!

I started trying to eat less & excersie more a couple months ago, but last Tuesday it hit me & since then I have been counting calories, drinking more water & excersising on a regular basis. I knew about what I weighed that Tues, but on Friday I weighed myself on my Wii Fit. It was 10 lbs lower than what I thought...I know scales are all different. But I was kind of excited b/c even though I knew I had not lost 10 lbs in 4 days, it made me feel better. Since then I have really watched it & am excited to weigh in on Friday to see how I have done. Oh, and I joined Curves Monday....I love Curves!

Anyway, this morning when I looked in the mirror that roll that has been there for so long sticking over the side of my pants...was SMALLER! I can really tell! It made me feel so good! I feel sooo much better than I did, I have more energy & dont feel tired all day like I used to. I am really ENJOYING it this time. I think that is the biggest difference for me. In the past it has been a chore to diet. This time I am excited about it and excited about how I am feeling. I WILL do it this time & be able to be comfortable with myself again!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL! & thanks for taking the time to read...makes me feel better to share

WTG Girl!!

And ty...I needed that. I've been doing my thing since June 29th and I've been trying to refind the enthusiasm I had when I first started. I've lost 15lbs but its become so hummdrumm...especially because I was expecting the first 20 pounds to go much faster!! (least I'm doing it the healthy way, eh?)
To see the excitment you have helped me recapture some of what I've been missing. Thank you.

Great job! I'm at about the same stage and have noticed a slight difference in how my clothes are fitting. It's a great feeling and it's good for motivation!

I just get so impatient though - it's like "I'm doing so well, I just can't wait for six months time when I'm a whole new person!".

Stick with it - we can do it!
