Weight Watchers - End of the 1st Week on WW!

I got to move my ticker today! I'm so excited!

When I went in for my very first weigh-in (besides the enrollment) today, they first told me that I had "stayed the same"... I nearly cried! The entire past week flashed before my eyes... the hunger pangs, the self-control, ALL the salads... all for nothing! I very nearly quit right then and there.

And then, something magical happened. "Oops," she said. "I'm not used to this computer. I read your weight wrong... you lost five point six!"

I almost fainted.

Those five pounds did SO much for me. Now everything seems worth it! I know this is going to be a long journey, but now that I have had the first taste of weightloss, I'm thrilled to take part in it and get that scale moving!

(sidenote, I joined a gym today... yippee!)

BB, this is incredible! Wow! What a great start you are off to. And hey, don't you worry about the journey ahead. You have your bags packed, the map and have a navigation system in your luxury vehicle. On top of all that, you have beautiful weather thus far. You may hit some rain from time to time--not to fret--you are headed for Cali! Your bikini and blue water and sunshine awaits!

Thanks everyone! WW is great and I love it, but the meetings only come once a week... 3FC has been a great in-between-meetings support for me. I couldn't have done it without you! Well, maybe I could, but it would have been a LOT harder!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I love your story!! :-)) I'm so proud of you. We are the same height and you are starting at a lower weight than I did. I'm excited for the wonderful journey that's ahead of you.
