I Lost 100 Pounds!
I don't know if I have ever started a thread, weird. But I am just so thrilled! Last August 25th I weighed 253. I made my Monday weigh-in today with what I wanted, 153!
It was a close call -- between 153 & 154 -- but I saw 153 all weekend in anticipation, and actually yesterday I was clearly 152. So I know it's real.
I tried not to get too hung up on the thrill of making '100 lbs in 1 year,' because in the spring it didn't look like it was going to happen by my calculations, but my rate of loss went back up for a few months (a little slower again right now, I think). But anyway! I am writing a lot. I am just excited.
I meant to come up with a reward, or something, but hadn't yet. My husband kept asking me what I wanted to have/do to celebrate, but I don't know. I want a new bathing suit and a beach-y weekend, but I haven't wanted to spend all that money on a suit before being all the way down (I want to be 140 -- or 135). I got my exercise bike at 50 lbs down, which is also when I joined 3fc in March as part of my reinvigorating. I have my eye on a gym membership, as we get a good deal on my using the University gym (husband is a grad student). I mostly like to work out at home re: the machine, but I am interested in some of the classes, especially a boot camp one. So might end up doing that this fall, when I have the money.
100 lbs! It's like I knew I would make it, but I didn't think I would. If that makes sense. I just freaking did it, and will still just freaking do it, like a worker bee, but it wasn't until relatively recently that I let myself see it and relish it. Things have changed so much.

You did it all right!!!! You really, really did it!!! What a fabulous achievement. I'm so happy for you, I've got this huge smile on my face.
I'm sure things have changed DRASTICALLY for you! Isn't it just the best? The absolute BEST.
Yes, keep on keeping on. Keep on "doing it". You're going to do so all the way to goal - and beyond.

Yeah, it is the BEST!
Thanks, you guys. I want to shout it from the rooftops. I feel like dancing and announcing it in public or something! I am such a private person that I can only announce it here :-) In my 'real' life, my husband and mother are the only people I've confided in.
