Ok, I know there are 2 other challenges going right now.. but from today there are 25 weeks to Valentines Day.. I want to be one hot mama by then! Who wants to join me?

Here is the deal... you set your goals! Set a weight goal, set an exercise goal, set a water/nutrition goal... what ever YOU NEED to become a hot vixen in time for V day!

There is one more challenge here.. you must work on a plan for something special for Valentines Day.. an evening out with your sweetie, a trip to the spa, or even a long relaxing bubble bath complete with candles. What ever would make that day special for you! YOU DESERVE IT!

My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.

I too want to lose 50 pounds during these 25 weeks. I will still be overweight, but I want to look great for my hubby on Valentine's day! I will have to come up with a great celebration for us on Valentine's day. We've never really done much in the 5 years we've been married. I will weigh on Wednesdays.

I'm all for this. I would like to lose 50 lbs. and hit 7500 minutes of exercise. If I make both of these I will make an appointment for a couples massage.

I'm so glad to find this challenge. :carrot: I'm restarting my weight loss journey (again). For the next year's valentines day I want to be a vixen.

My fiance and I have been together for almost 5 years. We've really never did do much other than the usual dinner out and flowers. So next v-day I'd like to be a little more "spicy" :devil:

Weight loss goal = 60 lbs.
Excercise = 30 mins a day 4 days a week
Water = 64oz. a day
Nutrition = following ww pts

Plan = a special night out with my sweetie

I just signed in for the Christmas Challenge, so it really depends how well I'm doing there. If I get to my Christmas goal, the Valentine target will be 145 lbs (3 pounds per week from now), if not then 170 lbs. :yes:

The reward will be pink iPod nano and a gym membership to go with it :lol: and celebrating/ hanging out with my closest friends!

My goal for this challenge is 65 lbs :) A hair over 2.5 pounds a week. That would put me at 174 :) WOW!

Sounds like a plan! I'm putting my goal at onederland... 42 lbs away. That's a rate of about 1.7 lbs a week, so I think I can do it if I really try.

What's one more challenge, right? For this Valentine's Day challenge, I plan to be in the glorious land of ONDERLAND!!! :val1: That means I need to drop 44 lbs in the next 25 weeks. I will do this by healthy eating, counting my calories, and working out at least 6 hours a week at the gym.

My reward will be a lovely date night out with my sweetie, where he will gush nonstop over my hard earned hotness. :val2:

Hey all! I haven't posted in a while but I love these challenges. Since Valentine's Day is also my birthday, I want to lose a lot of pounds before then. I love these challenges! Even though I am already in several, I have to join in here, also. I would LOVE to be 185 lbs by Valentine's Day so, my first goal will be to lose 50 lbs. I've been slacking on exercise, so my second goal is to exercise at least 30 min a day, 5 days a week. And my third goal is to lose inches all around my body.

*I want to edit some of my goals. Instead of exercise 30 min/day, 5 days/week, I want to exercise at least 300 min a week. And lose 4 inches in my thighs instead of 3.5. I'm also adding in my Something Special!

Goal 1~ Lose 50 lbs to be 185 lbs
Goal 2~ Exercise 300 min a week
Goal 3~ Lose inches
Waist~ -5 in
Hips~ -5 in
Thighs~ -4 in
Arms~ -3 in
Something Special~ A day or two before Valentines, I am going to get my hair and nails done as well as a tan (probably spray on) and buy a sexy outfit. On Valentines day, My Honey and I will go watch a movie and have dinner and then I will put on the sexy outfit I bought and go to sleep!

My Valentine's gift to myself will be a super-sexy matching bra and panty set!

(I'll be weighing in on my regular weigh-in day, which is Thursday. I don't want to change every date here, though, so I'll just post and you can figure it out.)

My birthday is the day after Valentines, so this is going to be the perfect challenge for myself.

Goal Weight: Onederland :o that's about 2-3 pounds a week, totally doable if I get serious and really commit.

Special Gift: I'm going to totally plan the perfect valentine's night with my hubby and knock his socks off. I want sexy lingerie, champagne, and a nice hotel room...it will be the first time I have felt confident and sexy on valentine's and i just want it all.

I would like to join in as well! I'm having trouble setting an attainable goal because I lose weight very slowly. But I think 1.5 lbs a week is very attainable. My goal is to lose 37.5 lbs by Valentine's Day.

I will use my Sunday weigh in numbers (my official weigh in day).

My goals:
1) lose 2 pounds a week for a total of 50 pounds to reach 181.6. This will put me into territory I have not seen in over twenty years!
2) exercise 30 minutes a day (6 days a week) minimum!

My reward: my birthday is 4 days later and hubby and I usually celebrate my birthday more and don't do much for V-day. This year I think maybe we should plan a weekend get-away to celebrate them both together :D This reward may be modified as time passes!

SW 266, I'd like to be about 210, which is a loss of 56lbs but I'm setting my goal at 2lbs a week for a loss of 50lbs.
I think the first part of my VDay plan is definitly going to involve a new artical(s) of clothing. Sexy undies/bra maybe? :o Just a nice reward for me for making it to goal! The scond part of my plan will involve DH and probably the kiddos, since we don't have anyone to babysit...we'll work on it ;)

Alright...I AM going to lose 50lbs before V-day, 2010!!!

I am eating 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat, and under 120 carbs (on average). I am committing myself to working out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes.

I am going to reward myself with a new pair of Tori Burch Reva flats...and at 50lbs lighter I should fit into my super sexy form-fitting jeans (size 18-20) and that will reward a cheescake factory dinner with my husband! (with no calories counted!)

What is helping me today is to look a my goals and remind myself of them whenever i put off exercise or want to go off plan with eating, or drink a coke instead of water. Also, have daily goals helps since this is a long term challenge.

YOU CAN DO IT. Just get through today and see what tomorrow brings.

Well, this was a good week for me. I lost 4.6 pounds! YAY! I also hit my exercise goals! I am still having a hard time decided on Valentine's Day plans. It's also my birthday so I need something awesome! haha Anyone have any ideas?

Aiming for a pound a week, I know that I can get easily defeated by targets set too high. That would take me to 155 and a 5 year low.

Aiming for a 30 minute walk, Every Single Day - it may not sound much but the commitment to doing it DAILY is big for me.

Don't know how to celebrate on VDay yet - long time single, most of my adult life. Maybe a truly Love Myself celebration? (Chocolate free)

This is great! A challenge is just what I need. I want to lose 30 pounds...with 24 weeks to go...I am going to meet that goal. I'm shooting low so I can't disappoint myself if I dont reach a higher weight loss. I will also attempt to exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. I don't ever do a V-day thing since I've never had a bf for V-day...so this year maybe I will have something to do that night.

I'm happy to see so many joining the challenge! I had a horrible time last week trying not to binge... I gave in some, and lost 1 pound. Didn't exercise at all, I think I'm going to have to set my alarm for an hour before my hubby gets up because by the time I get him off to work the baby is awake and wanting fed, then the others are up and the day gets going.

My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.

Rosinante - it's a struggle, but you lost more than a pound this week, when you wanted your average weekly loss to be one pound. You're ahead of schedule! It takes work for us to become who we are meant to be...but there's nothing stopping us :)

I'm new here...so Hi! :hug:
I'm not new to losing weight though. I lost 50 pounds last year, only to put it all back on after having abdominal surgery (which was unrelated to my weight).
But I want to do this again and this time with some support. So here I am!
I'd love to join the Valentines Vixen Challenge, even if I am a little late. I'm not officially starting my new diet regimen until September 14th though. I have to go grocery shopping first, which I only do on the weekends because the nearest grocery store is quite far away. I'm considering this week as my last week of "freedom". I'll try not to overdo it of course! :p
So my goal for the Valentines Vixen Challenge is to lose 44 pounds, or 2 pounds per week. Which would make my weight 203 pounds. My weigh-in will be on Sundays. Also my present to myself (and husband of 10 years) will be some lingerie. I've never bought lingerie, so this will be interesting!

I'm going to shoot for 161.4 , that is 50 down from where I was on 8/23 and would put me lower than I've been since high school. I will be having a night out with my hubby person whether I make it or not so I am going to have to think of a reward for making the goal.

Everyone keep in mind also that Whitman's and Russel Stover's and some other companies are now making boxes of chocolates in sugar free, so you don't have to deprive yourself of the typical Valentine's Day box of chocolates (assuming of course that you are ok with artificial sweetners).

I did fairly well last week! I still have issues with controling the urges to eat what I shouldn't but I'm not easily giving in to them if at all. It's easier as all the crap gets gone out of the cupboards and is replaced with better choices (I can't afford to trash food, we barely scrape by most of the time). I also decided that the baby can handle crying for a half hour a day if he feels the need to, I have to get my exercise done!

My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.

Wow! What a great challenge! I know I'm a few weeks late starting, but hopefully I can still meet the goals I set.

My goal by Valentines Day is to lose 50 pounds. I'm also aiming for 45 min of exercise a day 5 days a week. My treat for myself for meeting this will be a day at the spa. Massage, facial, and maybe hair done as well.

Alright...I AM going to lose 50lbs before V-day, 2010!!!

I am eating 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat, and under 120 carbs (on average). I am committing myself to working out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes.

I am going to reward myself with a new pair of Tori Burch Reva flats...and at 50lbs lighter I should fit into my super sexy form-fitting jeans (size 18-20) and that will reward a cheescake factory dinner with my husband! (with no calories counted!)

*YAY* Let's do this you guys!!!

I am chugging along. I'm so proud of my exercise! A 1 hour family walk on Sunday really helped to bump it up, but I was still doing my 2 and 3 mi WATP videos every day.

My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.

Alright...I AM going to lose 50lbs before V-day, 2010!!!

I am eating 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat, and under 120 carbs (on average). I am committing myself to working out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes.

I am going to reward myself with a new pair of Tori Burch Reva flats...and at 50lbs lighter I should fit into my super sexy form-fitting jeans (size 18-20) and that will reward a cheescake factory dinner with my husband! (with no calories counted!)

*YAY* Let's do this you guys!!!

I've been doing really well so far...on track with the exercise and seem to be on track for losses...but its only week 3:lol:

My goal by Valentines Day is to lose 50 pounds. I'm also aiming for 45 min of exercise a day 5 days a week. My treat for myself for meeting this will be a day at the spa. Massage, facial, and maybe hair done as well.

I lose SLOWLY, but I'll go out on a limb and say I'd like to lose 24lbs during this challenge.
That will bring me to 258, a weight I haven't seen in at least 5 years.

(Note: I've been very half-hearted at this, but am starting fresh today, 09/20/09 and hope to make better progress.)

Also, right now my exercise goal is to walk a minimum of 5000 steps daily, and I'm doing a lot better with that than I am with my eating.

This is great! A challenge is just what I need. I want to lose 30 pounds...with 24 weeks to go...I am going to meet that goal. I'm shooting low so I can't disappoint myself if I dont reach a higher weight loss. I will also attempt to exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. I don't ever do a V-day thing since I've never had a bf for V-day...so this year maybe I will have something to do that night.

Not sure what happened this week. I did have one day completely off plan.. no exercise and ate things I knew I shouldn't, but I was only over by about 500 calories or so that day. Oh well... moving on, maybe the scale will shock me this week.

Can I join late? I don't usually join challenges, mostly because the date deadline seems to create a mental block that makes me hit a wall, weight loss-wise, but this one appeals to me mainly because I've never actually *had* a good Valentine's Day.

So my goal for V-Day itself is to have a reason to celebrate. I am currently single, but there is someone on whom I have some designs. We have actually gone out on one (very weird, sort of disastrous) date, but he's soooo socially ******ed and I've been so self-conscious for so long that we have just sort of been a disaster. I will spare you the long story, but I'm finally feeling self-confident enough these days to think I *deserve* to be happy, and that means I am feeling confident enough to do something about our flirtation.

So even if that situation doesn't go the way I think it will (he totally loves me; who wouldn't? :lol:), I am ready to get back out there. Which means that by February I will have a reason to celebrate Valentine's Day.

My exercise goals are at least 360 minutes a week, which is what I'm already doing. Weight loss...I am going to be conservative and say 15 pounds, because I'm slowing down a lot here lately, and I don't want to disappoint and/or frustrate myself on that score. (Of course, more than that would be a welcome surprise!)

That seems...unreasonable. Though using somebody else's scale can be sort of a bad idea; my mom's scale matches mine more or less exactly, for some reason, but my sister's weighs differently than mine, so I'd never take her scale's word for it. Maybe she's doing you a favor without realizing it. You might be happier in the long run if you wait and weigh in a little late this time.

Alright...I AM going to lose 50lbs before V-day, 2010!!!

I am eating 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat, and under 120 carbs (on average). I am committing myself to working out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes.

I am going to reward myself with a new pair of Tori Burch Reva flats...and at 50lbs lighter I should fit into my super sexy form-fitting jeans (size 18-20) and that will reward a cheescake factory dinner with my husband! (with no calories counted!)

I still haven't settled on a special thing for V-day... but I'm thinking I just may buy something to wear for hubby's eyes only ;) That is totally not like me, and even at 186 pounds I'm not sure how I will do trying to pull it off.... but it would definately shock him!

My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.

This is great! A challenge is just what I need. I want to lose 30 pounds...with 24 weeks to go...I am going to meet that goal. I'm shooting low so I can't disappoint myself if I dont reach a higher weight loss. I will also attempt to exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. I don't ever do a V-day thing since I've never had a bf for V-day...so this year maybe I will have something to do that night.

Down two pounds, which is not terrible. TOM is looming, so I will have a water retention gain next week, but hopefully the week following will be significant. My goal was a very conservative 15 pounds, I believe, which will put me at 142 in February.

As for my 'other' goal, I am working on it! Things are looking up in the romance department. I am head over heels for the most socially awkward guy in the world, of course, so it's a series of baby steps, but the fact that I'm persisting instead of hiding out in my living room with a carton of Cherry Garcia is a huge success all on its own.

I spent a day at the fair this week, I walked for at least 10 hours that day, we were there for 11 and only sat 4 times to feed the baby, so I counted 8 hours for that day on top of my other workouts.

I still haven't settled on a special thing for V-day... but I'm thinking I just may buy something to wear for hubby's eyes only That is totally not like me, and even at 186 pounds I'm not sure how I will do trying to pull it off.... but it would definately shock him!

My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.

Hopping on the bandwagon a little late, but I do have this weeks weigh-in for the chart!

My goal for this challenge is to lose 52.8 pounds, roughly 2.5 pounds a week. I plan to exercise at least 5 days a week for an hour each session. I also want to focus on my water intake since I've been really slacking in that department lately and I'm feeling it!

My reward will be a weekend vacation with my boyfriend, destination unknown! :]

This is great! A challenge is just what I need. I want to lose 30 pounds...with 24 weeks to go...I am going to meet that goal. I'm shooting low so I can't disappoint myself if I dont reach a higher weight loss. I will also attempt to exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. I don't ever do a V-day thing since I've never had a bf for V-day...so this year maybe I will have something to do that night.

Alright...I AM going to lose 50lbs before V-day, 2010!!!

I am eating 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat, and under 120 carbs (on average). I am committing myself to working out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes.

I am going to reward myself with a new pair of Tori Burch Reva flats...and at 50lbs lighter I should fit into my super sexy form-fitting jeans (size 18-20) and that will reward a cheescake factory dinner with my husband! (with no calories counted!)

*YAY* Let's do this you guys!!!

This is great! A challenge is just what I need. I want to lose 30 pounds...with 24 weeks to go...I am going to meet that goal. I'm shooting low so I can't disappoint myself if I dont reach a higher weight loss. I will also attempt to exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. I don't ever do a V-day thing since I've never had a bf for V-day...so this year maybe I will have something to do that night.

Sorry, I am not holding out on you guys, I swear. It went really well! It's weird, though, because we work together and we are trying to keep things quiet (though I'm sure we are fooling no one) so there's this whole 'work dynamic' vs. 'dating dynamic' and it's a funny balancing act. Plus, we've known each other for over two and a half years so that makes the transition kind of strange as well.

All things considered, though, it was really great. We are getting together again tomorrow night, and he has been e-mailing me from one floor up all afternoon, so I guess those are both pretty good signs.

I still haven't settled on a special thing for V-day... but I'm thinking I just may buy something to wear for hubby's eyes only That is totally not like me, and even at 186 pounds I'm not sure how I will do trying to pull it off.... but it would definately shock him!

My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.

Alright...I AM going to lose 50lbs before V-day, 2010!!!

I am eating 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat, and under 120 carbs (on average). I am committing myself to working out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes.

I am going to reward myself with a new pair of Tori Burch Reva flats...and at 50lbs lighter I should fit into my super sexy form-fitting jeans (size 18-20) and that will reward a cheescake factory dinner with my husband! (with no calories counted!)

*YAY* Let's do this you guys!!!

I would like to join this challenge. I want to lose at least 1.5 lbs per week and at 15 weeks left to go that should put me at 190.5. I will stretch 5-7 times per week, work out with cardio 3 times per week, with strength 3 times per week, and stick to a diet high in fiber and protein with calories not to exceed 1800 per day but ideally will be about 1550. Upon my success I would like to take a romantic Florida weekend vacation!

I still haven't settled on a special thing for V-day... but I'm thinking I just may buy something to wear for hubby's eyes only That is totally not like me, and even at 186 pounds I'm not sure how I will do trying to pull it off.... but it would definately shock him!

My goal is to lose 50 pounds, 2 pounds per week. I would also like to hit 3,750 minutes of exercise.. that is 30 minutes a day for 5 days each week. With the kids, that will be a challenge for sure, but I'm going to try my butt off!! I will work on my plan for a special Valentines Day treat.

That's right, I am UP two pounds this week. I know what I did wrong -- complacency brought on by a stellar loss the week before, a little emotional drama, and too much beer -- and I'm taking steps to right it as of yesterday. It's not easy, but I'll get back on track. Now if I could just get some sleep.

Things with that guy I sort of started seeing are completely up in the air, and I am pretty resigned to the fact that it's not going to happen. That probably didn't help my weight this week, though I didn't binge or anything, so I'm proud of that.

Back from vacation and very happy with myself! I was gone for 2.5 weeks and still managed to lose 4 lbs :D I'm so thrilled. I was able to buy XL's and not worry that they wouldn't fit. Great time! :D

Alright...I AM going to lose 50lbs before V-day, 2010!!!

I am eating 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat, and under 120 carbs (on average). I am committing myself to working out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes.

I am going to reward myself with a new pair of Tori Burch Reva flats...and at 50lbs lighter I should fit into my super sexy form-fitting jeans (size 18-20) and that will reward a cheescake factory dinner with my husband! (with no calories counted!)

**Kso, it was that time of the month for the past week and a half and my weight was all over the place. I even went up to 278 one day..so discouraging! It's ending now, which I'm so happy for because I can start this week off with a bang at my almost original weight from last week. This is great! A challenge is just what I need. I want to lose 30 pounds...with 24 weeks to go...I am going to meet that goal. I'm shooting low so I can't disappoint myself if I dont reach a higher weight loss. I will also attempt to exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. I don't ever do a V-day thing since I've never had a bf for V-day...so this year maybe I will have something to do that night.

My weight has been up in the mid-150s for a couple weeks, and I've been feeling pretty bad about myself because of it. Well, because of that and some other stuff. So I'm taking a scale break for the rest of the month in the hope that it will help me stop focusing on the number, and possibly get it to move in the right direction again.

I'll report back on the results at the beginning of December, then! In the meantime, I have decided that if I reach my goal for this challenge, regardless of what is going on with my love life, I am going to take myself for a massage. I've always had a problem with other people touching me, and I'm still self-conscious about it even now that I'm so much smaller. The key to getting over that is to put myself in that situation, I think, so that'll be my reward. Kind of weird to reward myself with something that makes me uncomfortable, but that's how I roll. :D

Alright...I AM going to lose 50lbs before V-day, 2010!!!

I am eating 1200 calories a day, under 30 grams of fat, and under 120 carbs (on average). I am committing myself to working out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes.

I am going to reward myself with a new pair of Tori Burch Reva flats...and at 50lbs lighter I should fit into my super sexy form-fitting jeans (size 18-20) and that will reward a cheescake factory dinner with my husband! (with no calories counted!)

*YAY* Let's do this you guys!!!
