Hope you are well - my scales aren't

Can I ask your opinions on this - Brit Mil Fit (http://www.britmilfit.co.uk/classes/Novices.htm)

Either that or Holmes Place will have my soul :lol:they seem to have a lot of Aqua classes - including Aqua Run :?:

Hi BPB.

If you liked Harvey(!!!) you will probably love this. Just remember that it will be hard, and will take dedication. It is outside and is based on a military style training programme. If you hated the 'Fun Runs' at school there is no reason to suppose you will enjoy them now!

Holmes Place? Well just remember it will be hard work and will take dedication. There will be more variety, you could work indoors, in water, out of water, in a gym or a studio, with or without a personal trainer! But you won't get that military style discipline!

So your choices are simple: Harvey or no Harvey!!

If you have weak ankles or knees you might find the military thing too hard. But other than that it sounds like a good, hard and well thought out training programme. It really does come down to your personal preference.

I have recently seen, on daytime TV, the growth of the military style workout in the US. It seems it is growing here too!

If you go for it let me know how you get on. Whilst I'll never do it myself, I would like to be able to give real advice to my customers, some of whom would probably love this style of workout.

Stef

Went and had a look at Holmes Place and signed up! Hubby acted as chauffeur and came in to be nosey and ended up signing up. We got a good deal - joining fee reduced by 60% and a lower subscription for the second joiner.

They do an aqua class every day :dizzy: - I'll let you know how it goes.

Shame though - quite liked the thought of Harvey :s:
