When buyin Smart balance what do I look for; I never used this product before. Is there a low fat Smart Balance?

I like the olive oil one, but don't really use it all that much. I don't eat many things that need to be buttered.

Smart Balance is already low fat.

I usually buy the olive oil one, too, but this time I have the Smart Balance Light, with flax oil. About the only things I use it for are baking, as I don't put butter on too many things anymore, either.

I believe all the Smart Balance varieties are SBD approved, as they're all non-hydrogenated.

I use the light w/ flax oil also. Taste pretty good. Not all stores have all the different variaties. I primarily use it for cooking. I like to use it when I cook an egg. Gives a lot of flavor with minimal calories.

Do I need to measure Smart Balance when I use it. For example, If I use it, and I still able to have 1 T. of mayo that day ?

Yes, you must count Smart Balance in your fats allowance. You may have up to 2 Tbsp. of fats a day.

FYI:

Costco has a 2-pack on sale but because I still have a huge tub of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter in the fridge, I had to pass on the deal. ;)

I like the Light with Flax its not butter but it's definitely one of the tastier choices
