South Beach Diet - cottage cheese and half and half

I see low fat cottage cheese in hte store, but nothing less than 4% fat. Is this okay, or should I keep looking.
Also, I don't see half and half without corn syrup. Does this exist? I only use
use 2 T.

The 4% is full fat. Reduced fat cottage cheese is sometimes 2% or 1% or fat free. I think the fat free half and half does contain corn syrup unfortunately. I would rather use milk.
