This group has been growing and has become a great supportive group. Instead of starting a new thread everyday, I just have started one thread. We'll see how this works.

Have you been struggling to get on program, no matter which program you are trying to do? Why not sign in here just for today, and come back and show us how you did. Sign up with any goals you want to.

You can come and go as you please on a daily basis. No check ins, it's up to you. But if you sign up here for a daily goal, it may motivate you to hold true to it just for "today" whichever day that is, and come back and report that you did.

I have been struggling, some days eating as much as 60 points. I found last week when I started this challenge, that even though I still overate, I did much better, knowing I was going to be reporting it here.

This is not my challenge, it is "ours".. Feel free to add to it.

I'm just back from a couple of weeks away from home - staying in a house with kids, so eating lots of unplanned junk, eating out too much, no gym around, etc. etc. I *did* plan and brought some good food and my running shoes with me, did 30-Day Shred 4 or 5 times (intense! but only 20 min.) buuuuuuuut.... somehow I didn't manage to pull it off as well as I would have liked.

Anyway, long story short, TODAY - Sunday, August 9 - I am doing what it takes to get back on track!


Put together shopping list
Plan menus for the week
Buy groceries - make sure have lots of veggies for salads
Cook a few things to have at the ready
Go to gym or for a walk, 30 minutes minimum
DON'T weigh
(I have already concluded that it will de-motivate me if I confirm that I have gained weight, as it was so hard to lose what little I have lost already. I want to focus on the bigger lifestyle changes rather than the stupid uncooperative scale)

ETA: Um, TODAY, August 10 (MONDAY) I am going to do what I said I was doing yesterday. Ended up lazing around most of yesterday with some kind of respiratory infection... but I'm back up and running again.

ETA #2: Did it! I've been totally on track for food and walking 1 hour every day + going to gym classes 3 or 4 times this week. Feels good to be back on track. But makes me afraid to ever leave the comforts of my routine again!!

Hope everyone had a good day. Mine has been pretty good. Went to Sams and did not get anything offplan. I am hungry though and I just ate dinner.

yesterday was a very hard day foodwise ;) so i woke up this morning thinking one thing i need to do today is join the challenge.
so, today i'll stay on plan because now is the time to be focused (many times i failed after a month od dieting, i don't want it to happen again), eat rationally and remember my health.
it may be hard to make a decision for months to come, but i can make it a day at a time. :)

Today I am heading to orientation for graduate school. I am trying not to be nervous. I will be there all day so my goals are:

Eat OP
Drink as much water as I can
No cereal or crackers or other junk. (Allowed one protein bar if necessary.)

keep going to the gym, 5 times a week and to sweat!

Replace junk with fruit.

Loose 8 - 10 lbs a month.

Weigh myself weekly...

Hardest challenge: to take out my Weight Watchers materials and start writing what I eat and calculating. 30 points a day. :^:

Good Morning,

Yesterday was ok. They had chick-fil-a at orientation and then we went out to dinner. Did manage to talk the dh out of mexican. (he refused to bypass the chips this time) Ate more than I planned.

So today is another difficult day - another orientation with potluck.

My goals are to eat OP & drink more that 32 oz water.

I think subscribing to my goals on stickk and not wanting the word failure next to my name helped get me there.

Yesterday: ok but not great. Went to water exercise but not the gym and water exercise is more fun but not as strenuous. I did get lightheaded and ate a bit between meals but not too much so that was okay. Ate too many nuts, arghggh.

Not a good day yesterday! My sister came to visit and brought the kids donuts, and 2 gallons of ice cream. So I went off. I did drink more water but this morning I feel bloated. I stay up late at night and that's when I want to snack. I didn't make it to the gym. And didn't write my WW :(

Todays Goals:

Make a grocery list including lots of fruits
8 glasses of water/tea combined
Step class

Just for today... I want to do some stretches!! I have been walking and working out and am soooooooo stiff, but I can't seem to manage to carve out even 15 minutes to really stretch. And I would feel so much better. So that is the goal for today.

Yay I stuck with my goal of not eating late last night, and I know the main reason was because of this thread! :carrot:
It was 9:11 last night and I looked at the clock, and thought--I better eat my popcorn now, I have less than 20 minutes left! Then I got sidetrakced and next time I got hungry I looked at the clock and was after 10. Normally I would have went and popped up a bag, but I thought of my post, and I didn't.
So thankyou ladies! :hug:
I am having the same goal today --no eating after 9:30!
I know for me, eating late is one of my greatest downfalls when dieting. I don't seem to have a problem sticking to my calories, drinking enough water and exercising, but I eat light bfasts and heavy dinners and snack late, which I know are no nos!

I failed in yesterdays task. I ate some ginger biscuits, could have been worse though, I avoided the chocolate digestives.

Today I'm trying to stick to my red day food optimising, which means free food of meat, poultry, fish, veggies and fruit, healthy extras of smaller portions of calcium rich foods, cheese, milk. and fibre rich foods bran flakes wholemeal bread. My syn's today are going to be (or have been) potato, gravy.

Well, stuck with it again (not eating after 9:30), but today after not weighing in for 2 days, the scale was only down less than a pound. Stooooooooopid scale! I know a pound in 2 days is good, it is just that I was already at this weight earlier in the week before the scale went up a pound, lol.
Oh well....I guess on the positive side, it didn't go up anymore!
So today my goal is to not eat after 8:30, which is another hour sooner than the past two nights, so hopefully I can do it!

Well, I ate some rice and veggies at 9 last night....but it wasn't because of cravings so much as I realized I was way below calories and needed to eat something else. Then I felt bad about eating late, so I went and worked out afterwards lol. The scale was down almost 2 pounds today though, so apparently I didn't do too much damage. Considering I used to to eat at like 11 at night, 9 is a big improvement!

My goal today is to not eat after 8:30, and to also do more strength training, etc on the Wii instead of getting sidetracked by the balance games like yesterday! :^:

Cardio at gym - went late and only got in 15 minutes, but I did jog (vs walk) nearly the whole time.

HaHa Liz. I got to say "no" to a lot of things yesterday! But, other than the cardio which I should have gotten in earlier in the day, this day was still fine. Nothing horrible, just didn't quite make my mini-goals (but at least I aimed for them).

Eat 5 small meals, all with a protein component ... almost. Did 4 meals. Tom Venuto in Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle, says 5 meals with protein is a huge help in fat loss so I thought I would try it.

Sunday's goals revisited --
Eat 5 small meals, all with a protein component ... did 4 small meals. I am having a heck of a time eating 5 small meals. I eat when I get up ... 6:30 a.m. I eat again about 9:30 or 10 a.m. These two meals are fine (who knew I was this hungry in the morning?) Then again about 1:30 p.m. Then at 6 p.m. to get it done by 6:30. And I don't want to eat too many calories in the day, either. This is supposed to help boost metabolism, which I sorely need.

i got in my workouts 2 out of the 3 days... although on the 3rd day I was cleaning like a madwoman so maybe that counts for something.

:carrot:Hi everyone! I have got to develop a better habit about checking back in here after the day is done to report what I did. I have to admit when I sign up for my goals on here, it's on my mind, too.

I have 9 pounds to lose to reach my labor day goal. Sounds impossible I know, but in reality and truth, I haven't really stuck to my diet 100 % for years. Wonder what would happen if I did?

Hi Peggy -- my Labor Day Challenge goal is 239, I'm a slow loser but I think I might make it. I hate to fall down on these challenges because I always think I'm not losing, but then I look back and see I've done pretty well.

My lunch hour got too busy, I know I should actually take a break. So I didn't get in my walk at lunch but did do it after work. I also did my Wii Active 30 Day Challenge workout.

Today's goal is to NOT get popcorn or sugary candy at the movie tonight. My friend & I are going to The Time Traveler's Wife.

Hi everyone :wave: I'm going to join in here...at least for today ;) that is really the level I need to take this right now just to get back into it.

For Wednesday I will be accomplishing something every second of the day. No more lazing around, I have to be actually doing something and just sitting like a log somewhere doesn't count!

Other Goals

1. 1200 calories BLEW IT TOTALLY for today:mad:
2. 6+ bottles water 1 down
3. 2 exercise sessions 30+ min. each

I did not get anything at the movie theater. However at dinner I ordered a slice of chocolate cake for dessert. UGH I got 1/3 the way through it and just couldn't stomach anymore. As the movie progressed I kept feel worse & worse. By the end my stomach was in knots and I had a raging headache. I think it was the combo of the carbs & sugar that really threw my body for a loop. I'll not be making that mistake again.

Today's goal is to find something for breakfast that is on plan. I haven't had breakfast yet but did bring my lunch. If I eat my lunch for breakfast then I need to find a lunch on plan.... wish me luck!

I was extremely busy yesterday so I didn't get to come in. I was aggravated about it too, lol. I have been doing terrible. Monday night I was eating my dinner, when I realized I hadn't even paid any attention to my goals and that JUST writing them down wasn't going to get the job done. So here I am again with my goals, hopefully I wll do better today.

40 points is higher that what WW says to do, I had 35 at first then I edited it. I was losing weight a couple of weeks ago, and I was eating 40 points. So I figured if it was working, why change anything. I think 35 points seems too constrictive to me and I rebel, that's the only explanation I have, and if I don't feel restricted and set my limit to 40,maybe there's days I really only eat 35.

I have got to do this. Time to quit putting it off, do I want to lose weight or not?????!!!!

I am exactly where you are right now! I have gained back almost ALL of the 40 pounds I had off not long ago, and it is so hard getting back into it. But, today I asked myself pretty much the same question. I was asking seriously whether I really wanted to do this, was it really taht important to me, or should i just stop and let myself eat and be happy.

But it hit me I am not happy this way. It is difficult to breathe again. i can't move around like I want to. I look in the mirror and don't recognize myself anymore. I am just not "me" in this body, so I have no choice but to do this!

The last time I was happy was when I had 40 pounds off and was keeping it off and could move around, felt great. SO that is my answer!

Finish dinner by 6:30 ... well, no. This was a strange eating day for me. I had to eat a carb breakfast by 7 a.m. because I had weight training at 9 and I have to get some carbs in me or I'm too weak. So I had a salad for breakfast. Then, after weight training, I have a protein drink and banana to rebuild muscle (trainer suggestion). Then I have lunch. So I've eaten 3 meals by noon! I have the 4th meal about 4 p.m., then go to Water Exercise class and get back about 7:30 p.m. I'm not starving (having already eating 4 mini-meals) but I think I'm going to eat something.

And instead of thinking about my following goal (only veggies), I eat the dreaded nuts! Nuts are a great food and perfect for my eating plan but they are also very high in calories so I can't have very many of them (well, I CAN, but not on plan, LOL). And I love them. Arghghghhg. So, for every nut I ate (and I forced myself to eat them one-at-a-time) I had to drink a sip of water. So I don't think I ate tooooo many, and I did drink a lot of water! If I eat them again, I will weigh them, though.

Only vegetables for snack after dinner ... no ... see above explanation

I didn't meet my goals from yesterday but did have a breakthrough realization last night. I have been expecting big goals, basically trying to get back to what I was doing when i was acively losing and had 40 pounds off about a year ago. But, I have gained that weight back and am starting all over. I did not start out with all those ambitious requirements and I cannot expect myself to jump right back to that point where I left off!

I realize my daily goals need to be more beginner goals because that is the level I am starting at right now. No more thinking about picking up where I left off, time to build back up to that point.

So, todays goals...

4 Bottles Water-- 2 down
2 Hours Cardio-- 45 minutes down
Track Calories in Fitday-- So far, done!

Eat 5 mini-meals ... well, I ate five meals but they weren't as mini as they should have been and I over-ate on calories.

Two big downfalls. I had a frozen dinner from a healthy meal service I had gotten a while back which usually run about 300-400 calories. When I went to put this one in my calorie software, it was almost 700! I looked at this meal -- a tiny porkchop smaller than the proverbial 'deck of cards', an egg, and some green beans. No fancy sauce, it wasn't even that tasty. And 700 calories! Next, it was Cuban pork day at the grocery store deli and I bought a small container of it. I ate it in about a millisecond and then discovered it was huge in calories. I prepare pork on my own that is low in calories, so I'm not quite sure why these were so high, maybe the cut of the meat or something.

The thing is, I should never have bought that Cuban pork to begin with. I already knew the frozen dinner I ate was too high. And I also knew I would eat the Cuban pork right away because it was prepared food and because I like it. So, I was not being mindful. That is the kind of thing that takes me off my road and into the bushes.

So between these two, I'd eaten everything I should had eaten in the entire day. I made up for it a little bit by just having sliced tomatoes at night with a little cottage cheese but jeez those calories added up.

Water exercise ... forgot I had a meeting at the same time, so no

And ... a non-health related goal (except maybe mental health!): Spend time on the darn paperwork! ... spent a little time, not near enough. I am having real trouble getting myself to do this paperwork! Any helpful hints?

SkinnyJeans - very true. I did the same thing when I restarted. I just couldn't master the things I thought I should. Baby steps right?

CJZee - no clue on the paperwork, you mean like misc stuff around the house or work related? If it household stuff I have 3 piles to sort into - deal with/pay now, file & trash. I start at one end of the counter/space and sort my way to the other end. Then trash gets dealt with first to get it OUT, then I file to get rid of and pay/deal with & file that stuff last.

My goal for today & the weekend is to work on my exercise hours as seen in my ticker & to paint my bedroom.

It's so easy to see how we got overweight, isn't it? when you are not counting calories and just eating what you like you have no idea what you are really taking in! I was amazed when I first started counting, things i thought weren't that bad had TONS of calories! I'm glad you are aware now and realize when you need to cut it back and make up for some of the excess...you will be successful that way even with days that go a bit higher than planned.

Turn off the TV when I'm not interested in what is on:Well...most of the time. I did get some things done that I wanted to so not too bad.

I had a dream last night in which I was dressed up and looking in a full-length mirror and I was slim! The cool thing was the dream had nothing to do with weight loss, but with me checking out the outfit I was wearing, so I guess it felt normal to be slim. It was so wonderful!
I have been trying to communicate to my unconscious mind that I am getting slim, and maybe it's working!

I ate very well yesterday. I was still hungry after dinner so I had a salad which was just enough :)

My goal today was to squeeze in my workout because I know I'm quite busy this afternoon/evening. However I've already accomplished my goal because I woke up early to do it :) So I really should make another goal for today.... how about only ONE glass of wine as my treat while out this evening. And no high calorie/high carb beer.

Thursday was not so great. Positives: did water exercise, some paperwork, positive goal reading, 5 mini-meals. Not so great: no cardio at gym; went over calories; didn't print enough photos. On the bright side, maybe going over on calories revved up my metabolism (well, we can hope, can't we?)

Eat 1250 calories ... 1385, not bad
Smile! Laugh! And be extra kind to others today ... writing this made me think about being kinder and I think I was, at least a little. I read once that "no act of kindness no matter how small is ever wasted." I know when someone is kind to me, it makes me feel so good.

I was thinking about all this because I can sometimes be short with people. The day before yesterday, I wanted to use a two-truck loading zone to unload some stuff for the shop I'm in. Someone had parked right in the middle of the loading zone, so I could barely squeeze in behind them. I was a little miffed.

As I was coming back to my vehicle to leave, the owner of the other truck asked me if I was going to be long. I told her I was leaving, but I was a little short with her and asked her why she was parked in the middle of the loading zone. She said she was moving the stock in her jewelry store, and was sort of saving the loading zone for a bigger truck that was on its way.

Well, I left. But the headline the next day in the paper said "Jewelery store owner dies during move". OMG! It turns out it wasn't her, but her husband. They were moving a big heavy safe with jewelry in it, and it fell on him and killed him. It made me think how short and fragile life is, and that we need to be kind to other people whenever we can.

Eat 1250 calories ... 1468, not bad, less than my normal goal. It's really hard to go lower for me.
Be extra kind to others today ... well, I only went out once but I was nice then.

Hi Ash -- swimming is *fun* for me, not like a workout at all. The only bad thing is I have long hair and I have to futz with it afterwards.

4) clean out my food pantry ..

I need to be accountable this journey is a life style not a diet .. I have worked to hard to get where I am to let old habbits to creep in .. Yippee-yay! I've broken through the 242 mark. This morning I was at 239!!! Going to wait another day and make sure it sticks! (You know, I've noticed I usually go for quite a while "hovering" around a weight, then all of a sudden drop 3 pounds overnight. It is soooooo strange. I don't like the "hovering" part too much, LOL.) CJ

Hi Ash, and *hugs* :hug:. I love that you come and post every day, even though sometimes you don't have such good days. That accountability is half the battle. I took a peek at your blog and see you are in graduate school, and with a family at home! That is a lot of stress right there, so you should cut yourself a break. The calories you keep mentioning in the blog are very low, you probably could eat 1500 or 1700 calories a day and still lose weight because I can (although slowly). You are the same height as me and I'm older than you plus hypothyroid.

It is important not to beat yourself up. You have to set up a day to be a SUCCESS, even if it's one small thing. Do not overwhelm yourself with goals.

Sometimes, when I'm feeling low, I remember what you said about me being an *inspiration* and it helps me "continue on" that someone else thinks I am doing well. I think you're doing beautifully with your life and "your beautiful mess". Besides which -- you weight 50 lbs. less than me now, so I am perpetually jealous! :hug: C.J.

Thanks CJZee for all your kind words and encouragement. It does help to come here everyday. And I am working on upping my calories on some days. Trying to figure out what works for me. I am not exercising yet so my calories will have to increase when I add that in. I am feeling better today tho as I have minimized the carbs today. So far so good.

I am envious of your road trip. I love road trips. What prompted this one? I will be thinking about you and cannot wait to hear how it went.

1300 calories/day ... breakfast and lunch were good. For dinner, I went to a buffet and loaded up on veggies, one chicken thigh and (not so good) some sausage and green pepper and onion stir fry. I probably went over my calories a bit. I'll do better tomorrow!

I've been away for a month, sitting in a car far much and eating way too much fast food -ugh. Don't think I've gained (much) weight, oddly enough, but then again I'm afraid to step on a scale for a while... {EDITED TO ADD: so I'm delusional - I just weighed myself and I am up by around 5 lbs. Very sad, as it was SO MUCH WORK to lose those 5. I have a lot to learn about sticking with my goals when I am away from home}

So my goal for Monday, October 5 is: GET BACK ON TRACK

This includes:
1. scheduling/meal planning
2. shopping (should have done that yesterday, but oh well)

Hmmm, the "spirituality of imperfection". Sounds like I'd fit in just right!

Well, I currently am staying with my fiance in NY (I live in Florida), so my routine has flown out the window. I'm going to be up here for several months, so need to reestablish plans, routines, patterns. Found a really nice YMCA with a great gym and a pool that I'm going to join.

I have been pretty happy because we go out to eat constantly and I do my best to pick things that seem healthy. It's harder than when you're at home and things are totally under your control, but it's also a prelude and practice for when I get to maintenance. I have been losing weight at the same slow rate I always have -- about 1-1.5 lbs./week so I'm pleased.

Hi Ash! How am I doing??? In a word, I would say "maintaining". I am up in NY (normally live in FL) for several months with my fiance so everything is changed in terms of habits, timetables, cooking, etc. I have not done anything horrid, and still tracking calories every day ... probably eating my maintenance number of calories since I haven't lost any weight this week. I haven't joined the gym yet but plan to do it today. I had such set such good habits for eating and exercise at home -- and now I have to reestablish them.

But I am happy that I haven't gone wild, I sort of think it's good to give the body a respite now and again from losing weight. (Not that it's melting off me, LOL.) I am pleased I haven't fallen into a binge-starve-binge-starve cycle which is the worst.

Welcome Turning30! I totally agree with you, it is sooooooooo much easier to have none than a little.

I sometimes say to myself "This food (like candy) does not exist for me." The only time I ever eat sweets is when I'm out for a meal and someone has dessert, I will take one bite because I know it's going to go in someone else's stomach and not be there to tempt me. Interestingly, I can handle this just fine, it does not bother me to have just one bite of someone else's food. It would be nearly impossible to have just one bite of my own dessert, however!

Hey Everyone. I am new to this post and need some modivation.

My challenge for today is to eat Max 1400 claories and to go to the gym/walk/jog for at least 30 minutes.

I have the eating part down, i have lost everything so far barely exersizing but i realize if I want to see major results I need to focus on a balance between when i am putting in my body and working off it.

Stuck to goals over the weekend. Trying to start the week off right with 1250 net calories. It is looking doubtful that I will make my thanksgiving weight goal, but slow and steady wins the race.

CJ, I so agree with you. I have noticed if I work on my house instead of camping out on the internet all day, I stick to my program better. I'm going ahead and posting my goals for Saturday:

Exercise! (been lazy this week).
32 oz water (haven't done this all week either.)
35 points or less (will plan menu in the morning.)

Hi Peggy -- so glad to see you. Maybe we've hit on something here ... I guess all areas of life impact the others. I think it's something in the brain, i.e. if we feel in control in our home and work life, it spills over into our eating plan too...and vice-versa. Let me know how you're doing. CJ

That said, here are my Saturday goals:

No binge behavior, not even on vegetables! -- well, I overdosed on asparagus, but I planned for that LOL. I even baked garlic chicken tonight (I'm not much of a cook, so this is a huge deal)

Print large prints -- nope
Wash clothes -- nope
Make copies at Office Max -- yes. These were copies of information on my ancestry that I have collected over the years.

Hi, ladies! I've been looking for an active daily (or nearly daily) thread to check in on. I've weighed more, and weighed somewhat less, but essentially I've been over 200 lbs most of my adult life, mostly in the 220-230 range. I re-gained over 20 hard-lost pounds since summer 2008.

Just had oral surgery yesterday, so I should lose a little this week ;)!

Today's goals:

slurp down three meals as planned
slurp down two and only snacks, as planned
Don't look for comfort in the kitchen

I met my goals yesterday, which were pretty straightforward. I can't do much chewing, but it's easy to sip or gum down an extra 200 calories here, an extra 150 cals there. I have a list of chores and movies to keep me busy. I want to go over to the gym for a light workout, and maybe check out a matinee. Besides still being a bit achy and swollen from the surgery, most of my upper teeth are at the lab until Monday. So I'm hesitant to venture out, but I can't hide out all week....I'll just smile a lot and keep my lips pressed together!

Wednesday's goals:

Make up the day's menu, and stick with it
Go to the gym or work out at home
Read another chapter or two of The Four-Day Diet

Hi all! Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm traveling today (yup, flying on Thanksgiving!) and my main goal is to be very mindful while eating airport food. I also don't want to eat those pretzels they give you on the plane. I never drink sugary drinks, so I'll just have water on the plane, no problem for me there.

I didn't quite reach my goal of 229 this morning, but I'm really close and maybe by being super careful today I can eek it out tomorrow morning.

I hope everyone's enjoying their holiday! I'm having a quiet, meditative day at home, which for me is a good way to start the hyper-social season of feasting, gifts, traveling and parties. Especially when so many folks are struggling, it feels important to stop and take stock of all that I have to be grateful for.

I met my goals yesterday :carrot:. I did go to the gym, for just 40 minutes of cardio, and saw a matinee (Pirate Radio).

Happy Black Friday! No shopping for me. It was delightful to sleep in this morning. I did well, but not perfectly, on yesterday's goals. I ate on plan, and meditated (although not three times) and worked out (but at home, not the gym). It was a weirdly solitary T'giving, but very relaxing. I slept like a baby last night and feel great this morning.

Friday's goals:

Follow my eating plan
Go to the gym
Tackle and finish at least one project or chore


Since I've been out all week, I brought work home with me. It will fill good to get at least one work-related task (besides responding to emails) done before Monday. And I have a long list of house projects to choose from, from cleaning out a closet to starting my Christmas cards.

Congratulations, CJ!!!:high: Way to eke it out! That's a pretty big milestone, and probably great motivation to get you through the national six-week eating orgy we've just kicked off.

Something was up with the 3FC community boards yesterday afternoon. Once I'd sent my previous post, I could never get back on to see if it was even posted. I kept getting a message about the server being busy. I haven't had any problems today, though.

Spend time on one of my many projects


To wrestle my carb monster to the ground, I'm on Day Three of Ian Smith's Four-Day Diet. I dislike diets that tell you exactly what to eat, and I've had to make some adjustments related not being able to chew much, but I'm glad I'm doing this. If nothing else, it's reminding me of how many extra calories I'd been consuming each day. My plan is to follow his "modular" system at least through Dec. 22, maybe longer. I tend to weigh myself every morning, but I'll just record Monday's weight. So my weekend focus will be creating a whoosh!

A long break is coming to an end :(. It was a relaxing week for me, once I got past the surgery, and resigned myself to a week of soft foods. I can't wait to dig into a crunchy salad tomorrow! A busy and stressful work week is about to start. I'll need to stay focused if I'm going to stick with my daily goals.

An hour of cardio at the gym
Closely follow today's eating plan
Prepare mentally for a challenging week


I did okay on yesterday's goals, except for spending too much time lost in the Internet when I should have been working.

Whoa, what a Monday! My goals were to follow my eating program, go to the gym, and breathe :yoga: I think I did well enough, and am enjoying my first treat since last Wednesday: a Skinny Cow ice cream bar. My visit with the dentist went well this morning, and soon I'll be able to salads, raw veggies, etc., again. I saw my personal training this evening for the first time since the surgery--it was tough but it feels good to see how I'm getting stronger.

Tuesday's goals:

Follow my eating plan
Remember to drink water and decaf tea at the office
Stay on program during my happy hour get-together (no alcohol or munchies)


It really helps me to see your daily lists, and to know that others are having the same struggles!
