Hi! I've dieted my whole life, been successful a few times, but after a blood clot, miscarriage, quiting smoking, and another pregancy (that produced a beautiful baby girl!) I've managed to pack on the pounds to the point where it is affecting my happiness. I love food and cooking and I've always been a little overweight, but never this much. I know it could be worse, but I've got to get a handle on things. I found this site while perusing the internet and thought I ought to give it a try. I'm going to give the diet thing one more good try, but the one thing I really need is support from others and going somewhere isn't in the time budget. In exchange, I'll offer as much support to others as I can. From what I've found in looking through your posts, you look like an awesome group of people and I look forward to getting to know you!
