Faith Based Support Groups - God has been my strength

I recently lost my husband (Nov. 30, 2008), which has been 8 months now and it has been the hardest thing I have ever been through. I thank my heavenly father for being my rock thru this all. I give all glory to him! I know that my husband, although not here with me, is at last home and I don't need to worry about him (but of course I miss him ALL the time). I know that now I have to focus on me right now in making sure that I'm healthy and will be around for my daughter (who is 11). I thank you, my Lord and Saviour!

And your daughter is lucky to have a Christian mother.

WOW! I feel so much strength in your words and so much love. Your daughter is blessed having you and you are truly blessed having her. I am so sorry about your husband, I know it is so hard loosing someone, my heart cries with you. You are right about staying healthy for your daughter, what we do and how we handle things , we don't really know at the time, but could help her someday. We just never know, but do know; that I will be praying for you and her tonight. I know I don't really know who you are but God does.
