Gall bladder is gone.
Pain is under control.
4 incisions all look good.

Thanks for all of the prayers dolls! They worked.

Wow-you are one tough Cookie!! I guess after what you've been through, sleeping in your own bed, is the best medicine. Take Care, and try to Rest Up and don't over-do it!!

Rest and take it easy. You'll up and going in no time.

When I had my taken out, the key was to sleep slighly upright so that I didn't have to put as much work into getting up. Mine was done Lap as well, I just didn't realize how much you use your trunk (core) to do anything.

Yay!!! It's over. Finally. You can put those gall bladder episodes behind you now. Thank Goodness. Sounds like everything went well. Although am I hearing that you didn't get it done laproscopically? Regardless, it seems as if everything went smoother then smooth. Here's hoping your recovery does the same and then some. You are quite the trooper! Rest. Take care of you and before you know it, you will be up and running......

Sorry RR. I know it was a bit fuzzy. It WAS done Laproscopically thankfully.

IF I end up with another attack it's because there is a stone bouncing around that caused my pancreatitis attack and they'll have to go down with a scope and take it out. IF. I surely hope NOT but it's a possibility. Bleck.

I'm feeling okay. I had some toast with pb and honey for dinner last night (first solids in 5 days!) and I just got up at 3:30 am, had some peanut butter on crackers and yogurt. I'm going to take some more ibuprofen and go back to bed.

Bed is consisting of my glider in my living room, covered with a sheet with a fan directly on me. lol! IT'S SO HOT here.

Thanks for the support chickies!!! I didn't make a food plan for today. Going to eat little bits of healthy foods and try to heal. Back on plan for thursday though :)

I've got 4 holes from my laparoscopic cholecystectomy - I thought that was the norm? Maybe they just couldn't find mine lol!
The top scar I always see. The bottom one I only see when I lose weight - can't see it yet!

No need to apologize. I think you're more then a bit entitled to be a bit fuzzy ;). I'm thrilled that it was indeed to be done laproscopically.

Sounds like you're more then holding your own. You're going to improve in leaps and bounds day by day, I just know it.

thanks ladies! Just took my drugs and off to the chair.

I too have four holes. One right below my breastbone, one above my belly button and two on my right side, one right beside the other. They are pretty small.

It's so good to have you back, Tammy! Here, let us tuck you in, turn on the 3fc virtual AC and sing a 44-part harmony lullaby. There should be lots of rest and recuperation in your day planner for the next few days. And no more pain!

Glad to hear you're home and recovering! And glad you only got a few small scars. I have a big "zipper" scar across my abdomen from when I had my gallbladder out, but that was about 20 years ago.

I am feeling okay this morning! No drains thankfully. It hurts to cough, laugh etc but it's all good. Just ate more toast with peanut butter (the only thing I want) and tomorrow I'll start charting my food again. It's nice to eat the first solid food in a week!!!!

Hopefully there will be no more "attacks" but if there is... that means there is a stone bouncing around in the ducts and they'll send a scope down and grab it. It's a possibility but one that I hope does not come to fruition.

Thanks for all of the support girls. Your prayers and wishes pulled me through.

loves and hugs
