I'm finally back home where I have reliable internet, with most of my sanity intact.

The missing USB with our team data has been located. Grr! After a 15 hour drive yesterday, I found it on my dining room table as I started to tear the house apart. So now I will finally fix last weeks info, and move on. I'm not going to dwell on my apalling lack of leadership, anyone who has had two weeks like my last two will understand I'm sure. I blame reunion nerves, and my family.

Some good news, my cousin's baby-boy-to-be has been declared okay. The testing came back as within the normal range, not in the range for developmentally impaired. :)

Details on the reunion and other events will follow eventually, I'm going to catch up first.

Welcome Home, hope you do get a few minutes to catch up, sometimes you need a few to get back into the groove. So glad things are much better for you, and so wonderful about your cousins' little boy.

Maybe I was just repressing last week....we gained weight as a team. :( Summers are a harder time to lose weight, I think. Everyone says the holidays are difficult, but I find summer much harder to stay focused.

I managed to eek out a 1/2 pound loss this week, so I'm at 143.5. These last 10-20 pounds are going to be very slow to leave, I can already tell.

Funny story...at the family reunion I had set my camera down, and someone picked it up and asked whose camera it was. They looked at the pictures on the display, and saw the picture of my feet and scales from my "I made goal day" and immediately said....It must be Dee's. :D

Hi Team!
Sorry I have been MIA for such a long time. My mom was here for a 2 week long visit, and that didn't leave time for anything else (not even eating right). I wasn't even sure if I had been kicked out of the challenge since I lost track of my freebies.
I gained some weight and I hate to post such a gain, but I have no choice if I want to stay in the challenge (I am out of freebies now). I now have a few weeks to at least get back to where I was when this started :(

Dixied - SUPER DUPER CUTE!!! You look great! Glad to have you back!

I agree that summer seems harder. Right now, it just all seems harder. But we never give up.

Next week is a new weigh in. One pound at a time...

I also agree summer is tough, but I don't want to think about how far behind I would be without this challenge. Maybe this week....will be our week!!

I also love the shorter hair.

Hopefully this week we can get back on track. I'm also losing ground. I did so well the first 4 months of the year. Then I added exercise and everything has been going down hill from there. I am loving running though so I just need to be patient while I get the food aspect back in control.

Slacker checking in!

I used my freebie this past week because my body is seriously messed up post Swine Flu. That wonderful 'loss' I had that enabled me to be the 'biggest loser' for our team for a week? It's back. ALL of it and more. I'm sure the whole wild shifting is water related but I have no idea. I'm hoping my body will sort of 'level out' this week and I'll know where I stand.

One thing is for sure- if I just went through 2 weeks of only eating 1,000- 1,200 calories per day and I GAINED weight through the whole thing, I'm gonna be mad. Seriously? Whose body does this weirdness? I can't understand how the math would even make it possible. Sigh.

And thanks to those who said summer is actually a hard time to lose weight. I've been so disappointed in my lack of progress so it's good to know that others are struggling trying to do this right now too.

Bee - Hang in there. You body will figure out that you aren't starving to death and let loose some of the weight. Mine does the same thing when I'm sick.

I briefly saw 142.5 flash on the scale this morning before it settled at 143. I'm excited. I once told a woman here at work who was complaining about weighing 140, that if I EVER hit 140, I'd have it tattooed across my forehead. I'm hoping they'll let me get away with erasable magic marker instead. ;)

I've decided to try and do a 10K in October, so I'm off to looking at training plans. BBL

binderbee-funny, same thing happens to me, and if there is any hidden salt, the scale will show that too! Hang in there, your body just needs some extra time to recover from your illness. Try not to look at the little picture, look at how well you have done, you have lost an amazing amount of weight, and I'm sure your clothes and how you feel is so much better, than when you started this journey. Just a small hiccup on your way.

dixied-that is one terrific goal you have for yourself, Good Luck with your training.

Hi to the Blue Team-hope all is well

*****
Right now, things are good. DH did get that job that I mentioned a while back, so happy for him, it's been 3yrs, but....that's another long boring story.

I'm also having some trouble with the scale, but I will take my own advice, {so easy to give, hard to take}

Well need to get some things done, so have a great day chickies

Dix - you look great, lady!

As for me... forgot to weigh in last week, probably because I was so p.o.'d about my gain! Oops. Back to a loss this week, thankfully!

I've been doing 30mins of yoga 2-3 times a week at work lately, which I am LOVING and already feeling stronger from! We went to the gym on Monday night, but tonight it was just tooooo hot. Vancouver set an all-time high temperature record today!!

Aww Dee, you do look very cute! I'm glad things are looking up for your stress level now. I'm hoping mine is better soon also. :(

The agency asks us if we want to adopt the two baby boys, toddlers. We say yes after thinking hard about it, because we have 3, wanted one more. But this will put us as 5, with the younger four being stairsteps, 4,3,2,1 this fall after all their bdays.. Oldest turns 8 in Oct. ... so our kids would have been 8, 4, 1 and later a newborn if we decided not to adopt these and go on with our original plan. This will be much harder on us but we said yes and will just do the hard work, have 2 potty training and one beginning mid next year... It will be hard. But we said yes! And never heard anything more.... and waited.... and waited then finally called once a week... had to leave a message... nothing again. Then caseworker comes by for her visit, checks my who house as they have since 2001 when we started, have never found anything except toys on our toyroom floor, for which we got a violation which called for unannounced visits to come by and be SURE the toys were not on the toyroom floor any longer. (They can't ever find anything else to gripe at us about so they find these type things.) So we passed - because I stayed up late every nite making sure the entire house was clean and all floors had nothing on them in case she stopped by the next morning. Then I had to follow my kids around making sure they didn't really play with any sets of things, etc. Because if they were on the floor even just put there! they would say we didn't pass. So needless to say we are excited the boys are coming and we are then able to sign on them and tell the agency we are done. No need to ever stop by again.

So we call once a week because we are excited, we want to move forward. We have spaces in our home for them, under our license, what is going on??? and the caseworker who has no children and doesn't understand the turmoil we are going thru every day until we hear, says to my dh, Do not call me every week anymore. We will call you. They may be waiting til next month to move them, blah blah blah. Then tell us that!! -- Now I can see if we were harrassing them but calling once a week and leaving a message?????????????????????

So just letting you know why weight loss is taking a back seat. Yes, this happens to me every time we adopt but until you have been thru it you have no idea. It's like a doctor saying, you are pregnant, well no you are not. then wait a week, you are pregnant for sure. Then another week, no you are not. And being rude to you about it. But we have no control. I'm so tired of having no control in my life changing events.

Gotta run, taking them and a friend of theirs to see Harry Potter later and gotta go shower and bathe the baby, feed the animals, water tomato plants, get them all dressed and fed, etc etc. You get the idea! Stayed up late to sweep and mop and chairs are still up on table. Soooooo clean now.. hate to mess it up. But hey, life goes on. I got to enjoy it for one nite tho!

Hugs to each of you, I will go post weight. It's not as bad as last week's gain and I'm sure I'll stop gaining soon. Alot is salt because I crave it when I worry. Sucks. :(

I'm still here just been super busy. Have guests for a couple of weeks so things are a little crazy. Went to the beach a couple of times last week. It has been really good weather for it here. HOT and HUMID every day. Happy with the weight loss was hoping for more but TOM came on Sat. so I will take any loss. Jacked up my workouts to two times a day, three times per week. The other three days just one wo.

Selena-Bless your heart. I know what a challenge you are going thru with those agencies. My sis was a foster parent for a few years a long time ago. She ended up adopting one of the children. But the whole process could be frustrating and heart wrenching at times.

Dix-Love the new pic. Glad to hear all is well with the baby.

Have a great monday!

Selena - I've often thought people should be made to pass some sort of test before they are allowed to procreate, but what you're going thru is ridiculous. Toys on a toy room floor, the horror. :dizzy:

We're starting to work on the next BL challenge. Signups will start in the next couple of weeks or so, I think. I'll be out of town again the 13th-18th. And so will the Red Team leader, CruiseCAT. So that weeks results will be posted on the 20th. Which is is my birthday, so how about we go for a win? :D

I briefly saw 142 on the scale yesterday, but this morning it was gone. :( It will come back, I'm sure. Which reminds me...I'm very close (12lbs) to my ultimate goal. By the time we start the next challenge, I might only have 10 pounds to lose. Should I not participate as a team member, and just moderate? I can't just not check in with this group, it's what's kept me ontrack. But I could hand over the reigns to someone else so my lack of big weight loss doesn't hinder the teams efforts.

Hi all!

I got back last night from a wonderful relaxing vacation with the family. I had a great time, but also indulged with great food...so I posted a :o gain this week....but I'm already back on the wagon this morning and hope to post a loss next week. Maybe the change in routine and food will work in my favor to get me going again. I was getting so stagnant on the weight loss, even with exercising and eating right every day....Like my body figured out what I was doing and not giving in anymore.

I have a lot to do to get the house back to normal after being out of town, but I'm going to try to catch up in the thread in the next couple of days.

I did see Dee's new picture! WOW you look great!! :)

Here's to a great week guys!

well-not a great week, but due to a few blips this week, kinda thought it would be tough. Had to have both big toenails removed on Friday, so no workouts this weekend, do plan to get those sneakers on today, if fact that's what I'm going to do, as soon as I stop chatting. Also had way too much salt, and TOM hit, so wham-o, a slight gain, but I do plan to have a great week, OP and now that my toes are better, can up the exercise.

well have a great Monday and talk to you soon!

ARGH!

Selina - You are one of my heroes. It is a pleasure to have come to know you and know that you are doing such good things for these kids.

Dix - That pic is one of your best yet.

Institches - Ouch to the toenails. I've never lost one and I don't plan to any time soon.

I had 4 days out of town for a family reunion. We had a great turnout and way to much good food. I've been eating leftovers for two days they were so good. Needless to say I will be posting a rather large gain for this week if I don't have a freebie left. I also think that TOM might be rearing his ugly head soon.

I do have good news from this weekend though. I asked my Poppa to ride along when I went for my Saturday morning run. I'm used to running after dinner with temps between 70-80*. It was only 50* at 6:30am when we started. I had plans to do 5 miles but was ready to die a little after 2 and couldn't figure out why other than freezing to death. I got back and did the math and did 2.7 miles with my fastest pace EVER of 12:20. I am very impressed with myself because lately I've been doing between 13-14 min/miles. Plus I had two hills to run up and everything I train on is flat.

I have to admit, losing a toenail would freak me out. I live in Florida, and therefore only own open toed shoes (and running shoes, which can't be worn to work). I'd have to take sick leave until they grew back. ;)

Good job on your run!

To anyone who is feeling burnout: push through it. I've been really stuggling with commitment lately, but the last 3 days have been almost easy. I even had a NSV this weekend. I appeared in public, in a bikini. Looking at our pictures, I still have a way to go, but I looked as good as the 20-somethings that were with us on our tubing trip. (well, expect one of them, but she's too skinny. And I have boobs, not ribs showing. :D)

Selina - :hugs: Try to keep some time to take care of yourself and treat yourself gently as you go through this stress. You are truly remarkable to work so hard to build a loving home for so many kids!!

Dee - stick around for the next challenge! I would really miss your insight and motivation.

As for me.... ooof I'm tired! Went home to visit my parents and attend a friend's wedding this weekend. Ate too much, but danced up a storm at the wedding, and went for a bike ride with a friend, so we'll see how the scales are tomorrow morning! Had a big NSV - saw lots of people I hadn't seen in months at the wedding and received lots of compliments!

Thank you, all of you. I'm sorry to always bring drama. I swear I would much rather NOT. Everyone knows I'm not a drama queen. I stay out of all the gossip and drama with all my kids' sports parents, all our school parents' drama, I just listen when ppl talk to me directly and then move on. I just don't care for it. So I really apologize for all mine lately. Please pray for us if you have an extra minute. :(

Dee, wow, that is soooo cool. I'm really happy for you. You are a true inspiration to not give up. I hope you stay on this site forever, even after you hit your last goal. We need more ppl like you. :)

Hi Mary, Institches, Zinkemom, Marianne, Jacque999, Idealmuse, Suzie, and everyone here. Big hugs to you and hope you are doing well. :)

My baby hadda go to the doc today, poor sweetie has an ear infection. Gonna go hold her, she woke up just now. On several meds, I feel so bad for her. Now I think I have whatever it is. Hurts so bad to swallow, I'm trying not to! LOL. And feel dehydrated because I don't wanna drink. Thank God she is taking her bottles still. I'm going to doc Wed. a.m. and hopefully will be better soon too. I miss chatting with you all. So sorry things are blah right now. I would much rather be some of your encouragement than a drain on our team. :( Thanks for listening though. I KNOW at some point THIS type of drama will end. It WILL.

Hi girls - A good week this week I hit my goal weight for the challenge already. Been really busting my butt! 4 more weeks until my big triathlon so I'm hoping to at least get off another 10. I'll still be 10lbs more then I was at the same race last year, but considering where I was headed just a few months back, I'm quite pleased.

Hope everyone is doing alright.

Idealmuse - The idea of doing a triathalon scares me. Good for you for doing those. Running, biking, no problem. Swimming....well, I just sink.

After this week's hohum weigh-in (.01% lost) and dwindling team number (14 members of the Blue team remaining), I needed some happy news.

Here it is:

I took my measurements this morning, and since I started measuring in Sept. 2005, I've lost 49 inches overall. I'll post the breakdown:

Waist - 11
Bust - 7.75
Hips - 10.75
Thighs - 6.25 each
Biceps - 1.5 each
Forearms - 1.25 each
Neck - 1.5

So there, something to celebrate! :carrot:

Awesome Dixie! That's quite a difference. I wish I had taken measurements at my highest.

Swimming isn't my strong suit. I know how to do it just well enough to get through it to do the other things.

I guess the team players are getting so small because of it being summer and people aren't around as much, plus the show isn't being aired which probably keeps some people motivated.

Being the dork I am for numbers, graphs and charts, I just plotted my training schedule for the next year. I'm running a 10K in Oct, a 15K in Feb and then the biggie...a half marathon next August (in my hometown). I'm determined to do the half marathon, it will be the day after I turn 39. Awesome, huh?

Dee, that's great about your inches!! Maybe we should all share our whole total of loss since our highest, inches, pounds, etc. Or how far we've come in fitness, being able to run vs walk slow etc. Might perk us up!

Hmmm.. I measured about 15 lbs under my highest weight so would have been about 262... Here is what I remember since they are on a calendar at the top of my closet from the year 2003... I have every calendar since, my personal wall one from each year. And you can go back and look at when my newborns came til they were sleeping enough at nite, I wasn't even able to write down anything but 'tired!', no time, too busy, etc. Scary.

Ok, I took time to space all these two inches apart or whatever but when it posted it showed them up against each other so I'm sorry for that..

Bust 48 Now: 41 Lost:7
Waist 49 42 7
Hips 61 54 7
Biceps 16 12 4 each
Thighs 25 22 3 each
Calf 18 16 1 each
Neck 16 14 2
Wrist 8 6.5 1.5 each

So what is that 42 inches lost?? Then I will show you what I remember
getting to and didn't stay there. Total bummer but I still needa show it.

B 37
W 37
H 47
Bic 11
Thi 19
Calf 15
Neck 13.5
Wr 6 So at that time my lost inches totalled: 74??? Geez. :(

Well that wasn't so much of a perk for me was it? Whaaa!!! :bb: I'm sick, why am I adding to my stress! LOL.

Anyhoo, wow, only 14 members left? Summer really isn't a good time for this huh?? But it's better than not doing a challenge and gaining alot all summer! Fall will be better. Are you doing this fall's challenge Dee?? Do you still have any to lose!?! :?:

Well, ttyl, throat killing me, gonna go wash dishes, piling up.. :(

There is nothing worse than being sick in the summer! Definitely something floating around, my sister, mom and now brother have all been sick recently.

I've had something the whole summer, too. Starting at the end of June, from a sore throat to two weeks of a cough followed by weeks of a cough and cold. It's not as bad now as it was originally, at least. But it pretty much shot my exercise to ****, first because I wasn't feeling well enough to do it and now because I'm a little nervous of exacerbating it. It may be just a coincidence but this whole thing started, the sore throat started, the day after I exercised, sweat like crazy and stayed under the ceiling fan for about 10 minutes to cool off. Plus I'm in an air conditioned office at work every day (cold to where we put on jackets/sweaters some days) and it's not helping. I think I'm nervous about overworking my respiratory system at this point; I just want to get rid of this thing already! So...no great weight loss, but at least, no huge gain either (at least when I'm TOM-free!). Anyway, I'm still weighing in and gonna finish this challenge out, and hopefully, be all better for the next one!

My weight sucks. But I do have a NSV for this morning. I ran my first ever race. It was a 6k. I was going to be pleased with anything under 50 mins.

I finished in approx 45:15 which is my best pace time EVER! It was starting to rain and I was cold and tired so I won't know my official results until the paper comes out on Thursday. I'm pleased though. :)

Heya bombshells.

So glad to still see a core group of you here. I am afraid my world has gone haywire. And the scale shows it. I missed the last weigh in (and maybe even the one before that) and I know I am officially out of the contest, but I look forward to starting with a new zest if SOMEONE decides to get it going again with the show.

Quick update ~ lots of stuff on our plates ~ our businesses are booming with work, but slow to pay. Always rough starting out (I'm sure soon2b gets it!).

I have put out applications for 2 jobs. I have been with the City I work for, for 10 years, but its time to push myself again. Its nerve racking and I just want to be good enough to pull off a great interview. It my weak point. My work ethic speaks for itself if I can get in the door somewhere else!

Most exciting... my property burnt last thursday. MY HOUSE WAS SAVED THANKS TO GOD AND CALIFORNIA FIRE! But its been a hard weekend working and trying to get things back together. So... not to make this a "hey check my hectic life out" moment... but I thought I'd share. Feel bad for not being here like I was supposed to.

Just wanted to let you all know I am still reading the thread when I have 2 seconds and I am always hoping you all are doing fabulous! GO BLUE!

It looks like it's going to be a crazy week around here chickies! Remember that next weeks weigh-in summary won't be posted until the 20th.

zinke - congrats on your race time! :bravo:

Nixmom- I'm glad your house is okay and that no one was hurt. Sounds like you're as busy this summer as I feel. :D

Suzie - I'm envious of your family hikes. When I suggest something like that I get laughed at or ignored.

Selina - Hope you hear something soon about the babies.

Everyone else  (Gotta go to a meeting, no more time for personals)

Good morning all!

Well I'm on week 3 of a delightful plateau. I knew this was coming, and at least it's not gaining! Just going to keep plugging away, tweaking things here and there, until I see some progress again. We're going to start working with a trainer in the next couple weeks, so hopefully that will have me losing inches and gaining strength, if nothing else!

Love that!

I just saw 141.5 on my scale. :carrot: If that sticks around until tomorrow, I will be very, very happy. And I NEED some happy right now!

Woo hoo! Fingers crossed for tomorrow Dee!

:
Weekends are my downfall. We do a lot of family things, which can include a hike in the woods, etc. but with the heat in GA this time of year, we do more indoor stuff and not much physical which can lead to snacking badly :corn:
Today I'm hoping to do a nice hike walking around the mall.

Sounds like fun! Are there more air conditioned things you could do? Maybe go to a swimming pool or something?

I took some progress pictures this morning, and my photography skills with a self timer really stink. But it says something about how far I've come in my confidence that the picture I like the best out of the group is from behind. :D

I guess I'm out of the challenge as I've missed 3 weigh ins. My mother passed away on Monday and I couldn't weigh in. I'm very sad right now and really need a few weeks to get back to eating correctly. I've signed up for September so hopefully I'll be able to finish that challenge.

retiredone - I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you can come to us all for support anytime!

As for me - just got home from the gym, first session with our new trainer. FH is there for his session right now. It was hard but awesome - I am super excited to get strong again! It was also a bit embarrassing though, because it really showed me how weak I've become. Onwards and upwards!

They are my downfall too! I eat wonderfully all week and workout then the weekend comes and I sabatog all my weeks worth of work. I think it is wonderful that your family does physical things together!

Hi Bombshells...

retiredone.. my thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep your heart open to celebrating her life!

Thanks to you all for your kind comments about my house not burning down. It was quite an adventure and reminds me that someone bigger than me is in control!

Speaking of control, yay for you girls hitting the gym, remembering to weigh in and busting out the last of summer challenge. I see that a few of you have mentioned signing up for the September challenge. I need to go do that right now because.....

I, actually, am out of control. I weighed in at 210 again this morning. My scale has gone the wrong direction the last 2 months. It's horrid. I am disgusted but no discouraged. I just have tune in, tone it down, and take it a decision at time. I'm gonna go sign up for the blue team right now!

I can't remember last weigh in so dunno if I'm still in the challenge but just trying to stop in to say hi. And so sorry to hear about your mom passing, Retiredone. Big hugs to you. I know there isn't much we can say but I'm praying for you and your family.

Dixie, great behind pic! I'd love to look that good from behind. :)

Hi to everyone. Been having CPS trainings, still waiting to hear when our boys are coming. Going crazy of course. Getting kids ready to go bk to school, and gotta register our new exchange student in high school. He is a sweety, very good with the kids and baby. Wants more than 5 kids when he grows up! Wants to be a doctor like both his parents. He'll be a good one too. :)

Also, my doc called me about my levels after she had me do more blood work.. added more Cytomel to my Synthroid for low thyroid and I notice I don't crave sweets as bad, weird. Hoping this can help.

Are we signing up for Sept now?? I need to do that!!

Meadow is crying so gotta go, hugs to each of you, chat more later!

Hey everybody...just stopping by to say hello. Been with my mom after her double knee surgery yesterday. Slept at the hospital last night and will again tonight. Then will go home tomorrow evening so that I can get my 2 oldest kids off to college Thursday (DS) and Saturday (DD).

Very tired and VERY off plan. Eating has been not so good and exercise has been nil although I am taking the stairs whenever possible. I have not exercised since Friday morning except for a half hour on an ancient treadmill...didn't even have a cup holder for my bottle.

No time for personals...don't even have time to check the pages of posts on all the threads I follow. I do hope EVERYBODY is doing great!!!

Hi old friends!

I'm still weighing in (though not proud--been plateauing for 6 weeks now... seriously, same weight, every week, maybe up a hair but never below 151 lbs) but haven't been to talkative. I want to get back into the boards and maybe that will help my weight loss. I hope at least!

Anyways, I just got back from a 10-day trip to Japan. I was so convinced I would break my plateau since I would be walking a lot and I'm not a huge Japanese food fan. WELL, I ate worse than I thought but I still walked a ton... and came home to weigh the exact same thing as I did when I left!

UGH!

The trip was good but I'm back and feeling stressed. I move away from Korea in 10 days, go home to the US for a month and then I move to Australia for 8 months. My work schedule is light so I'm trying to work out a lot but I also have to pack up my life (been here a year) and clean out my apartment and say good-bye to friends.

We only have a couple more weigh-ins and I'm a little disappointed I didn't lose more. I've lost 22 lbs since coming to Korea a year ago and I'd love to shave off 3 more lbs before I get home to make it 25 lbs gone in a year... but I haven't lost a new lb since the first week of July so...??? I'll keep working out and eating well and see what my body decides.

Hi everyone!
I've been rather busy lately, but it looks that way all around. :)

joyra- good to hear from you again! Hope your move goes smoothly!

joci- my mother is in desperate need of a double knee replacement, but basically refuses. She thinks they'll be worse afterwards...so I'll be curious to how your mom progresses. Sounds like you are very busy with this and sending the kids off to school! good luck!

Dee- glad you're back! Holidays.....It'll be Halloween before you know it! I can't believe how fast 2009 has been. I had my teeth cleaned on thursday and saw the appt card with Feb. 2010 on it and just shook my head...

We went for a hike at the park this morning. My son had to count frogs for school and we counted 16. :D

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Was just looking at the weigh-in results...for me to come in as a runner up for losing just .8, that's just sad, lol. This is turning into an Agatha Christie mystery...and then there were nine (of us)....:p. Oh, well, now TOM's here so this may be a freebie for me this week.

I wanted to do better in this challenge, too, and I was doing better with the exercising at first but then I got sidelined with getting sick for the summer. But...I'm up for the next challenge and I've been learning some stuff, too, that will hopefully help me improve my workouts. :) But I said at the start of the challenge that, at the very least, I wanted to weigh less when I finished than when I started and I will have managed that! :^:

Everyone must be very busy, but just wanted to say Hi, and hope all is well. Having some trouble staying OP, but my exercise is great. I just think I'm kinda burnt out, tired of trying to be good!! :dizzy: I think maybe I need some new recipes to motivate me again, or a swift kick in the butt :o

Hope everyone has a great Sunday, and a wonderful week

I know what you mean Ellie, I didn't make my goal of 20 lbs for this challenge, but did lose so that's a good thing. :)
Hope you are feeling better from being sick for the summer!

Institches- If you find any good new motivation, let me know! I'm trying to rekindle the motivaton myself. Maybe the new season of the biggest loser starting soon will help.

I'm excited for the next challenge already and hope to see a lot of you!

Have a great week everyone! See you tomorrow for the weigh in! ;)

Well to start I can tell you it's been a lot different then what we AND her expected. As we all know the health care system SUCKS and now she is right in the middle of it. She is progressing everyday but it's been a tough road and she still has a way to go. My mother is almost 75 years old but is more like a 65 year old. She's in good shape and exercised for months getting ready for the surgery. Without that, I think things would have been even worse for her in the recuperating stage. It's no walk in the park by any means and I think if she had only done one knee to start, she NEVER would have gotten the second one done.
