Melissa - I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your father :( I hope you are feeling a little better. Have you gotten back into a bit of a routine now? I imagine that would help a little.
Well last week was the "transition" week. Jay and I were both home, but I, day by day, left the house for longer and longer until Jay had her almost all day on Friday. I'm back at work now. Been here for 1/2 hour. So far so good, but I know that in a little while I'll miss her and just want to run home :( I'm sure she will be fine with him all day though. He takes really good care of her and I think she's too young to really "miss" me.

Lori: I can tell you that the time you spend with your daughter will be quality time. I have to say that being a working mom made me appreciate the time I spent with my boys. I think it helped them too and it gave me the chance to be with adults and that worked for me. I was lucky enough to have a good sitter when my older son was young and when I had DS #2 my dad watched him so it was a lot easier in some respects. There were days though that I had a hard time going to work.
I'm on vacation this week and am looking forward to getting out of town later this week for 5 days. I was able to get things caught up at work last week although I have to admit the first day or so back was hard to keep focused. I'm sure things will quiet down once I get back from vacation.

Wow where is everyone lately? :(
So I tried to sign back up for WW online and now there is a $30 sign-up fee. I don't know when that started, but I emailed them asking to waive it since the only reason I stopped was because I was pregnant and I know if I went back to meetings the fee would be waived. We will see what they say!

Lori: I'm not sure where everyone is--the board has been really quiet. I hope everything is okay with Lisa and her family. I know Pam is on vacation this week and is heading to Niagara Falls/Toronto area.
Things are quieting down a little--we're still taking care of some details but for the most part life is returning to a somewhat normal pattern.
It was nice to be off of work last week but in all honesty I didn't really "relax" like I have in the past.
Were you able to get the fee waived for starting back up with WW? They should have it noted somewhere that you had to "quit" because of pregnancy.
I'm finally starting to feel better--I met with the new endocrinologist this morning and really like her. She's going to run lab work in September to see where my levels are at and may increase my dose if needed. She is in an office by herself and I like that!

So glad you are feeling better Melissa! Yes, I was able to get the fee waived. I was happy about that! I've been back on track since Monday and it feels WONDERFUL. I feel like I have a lot more energy. I'm sure that also has something to do with coming back to work too and not just sitting around the house taking care of the baby. Jay said that he is starting to feel really tired lately and I told him he should take the advice that he gave me and get her (and himself) out of the house at least once a day.
