I was just wondering for all the chicks out there who likes to have a drink once in a while and still trying to keep it as healthy as possible...
Whenever I go out or to some event I try have some wine, since Iíve heard it can be good for you (in moderated amounts). But I donít really know about any that has low calories. So I just order whatever.
But during the summer, when it is nice and warm, nothing better than a cold beer.
I used to order Michelub Ultra with 94 cal. But now I heard about Genuine Miller with only 64 cal. That is the lowest cal drink Iíve heard of.
But I wonder if it is possible to go even lower than that...
It would be also nice to learn about any liquor drinks with low calories, if it exist...
Ok girls, letís see if I can get some ideas to use this weekend

I usually do clear rum and coke Zero. But if i remember correctly, 1 shot of the clear Bicardi is still about 110 cals ... or maybe it was 90? Basically, it was up there with having a budlight. Clear liquors ... vodka or clear rum, with a no-cal mixer like diet soda or crystal light is what I usually do.

Oh and I read a glass of the light colored wine, like white zinfandel, is about 60 cals. I haven't found anything lower than that though. I would love some ideas too ;)

An ounce of hard liquor is about 60-70 calories (so around 100 calories for a typical 1.5 ounce serving), so if you find something calorie-free to mix it with, it's not bad (ex. rum and diet coke, vodka and sprite zero, raspberry vodka and soda water).

While tonic water seems light because it doesn't have much flavor, it's 10 calories per ounce, or 80 calories per cup, which makes it pretty similar to sugar-sweetened sodas.

I don't drink very often, but love Margaritas when we do decide to have something - I now the calories must be high though and of course the salty rim doesn't help! LOL

I'm so glad someone posted this. i have been wondering the same thing. i love red wine and don't know how bad it is for my diet.
I am going to try to start buying some clear liquor and some low cal mixer in exchange for the fatty coronas that I drink.

I have to admit I've never been to Utah... they serve different size drinks? How do the bartenders measure the alcohol?

These are both HUNGRY GIRL drink recipes

Rockin' Razzy Rita

(Entire recipe: 105 calories, 0g fat, 5mg sodium, 2g carbs, 0g fiber, 0.5g sugars, 0g protein = 2 Points)

Ingredients:

*1.5 oz. tequila

1/2 tsp. Crystal Light powdered drink mix, Raspberry Ice

5 oz. water

1 oz. lime juice

Optional: lime slice for garnish and salt or no-calorie sweetener for rim of glass

Directions:

If desired, run some lime juice along the rim of the glass and dip into a dish of salt or sweetener. Combine all ingredients, mix well, and serve over ice. Or, for a frozen one, place all ingredients (dissolve Crystal Light in water first) in a blender with 1 cup crushed ice, and blend on high until well mixed. Optional: Garnish with a slice of lime. Serves 1!

OR ...

Hittin' The Peach!

(75 calories, no fat - 2 points)

4 oz. Diet Sprite
2 oz. Hansen's Natural Juice Cocktail, Low Calorie Peach Mango (or Minute Maid Light Mango Tropical)
1 oz. Sugar Free Peach Torani Syrup
1 oz. Vodka

Shake with ice and enjoy this tropical treat!

Hittin the peach is pretty good, but i made mine w/o the syrup. I haven't tried the margarita one, but it looks yummy.

My first reaction when I saw the title of the post was to say "yes please".;)

I like Michelob Light beer or Killian's Red, any good semi dry or dry wines, good champagne, cognac or armagnac, Mike's Hard Lemonade and a variety of liqueurs, my favorite being Grand Marnier. I don't indulge very often so when I want a drink, I choose according to my tastebuds instead of calories.:)

Dry red wine runs 60-80 calories a glass (4oz). You can always mix that with seltzer, soda, diet soda, etc. to make it more of a wine "cooler" - more volume for the same calores.

i live in Wisconsin, and we have some amazing beer here! i am a fan of New Glarus Spotted Cow, an unfiltered "farmhouse ale." it is so good. i have no idea how many calories are in it, and honestly, i don't care.

For beer it is pretty hard to go less than MGD Lite 64....doesn't do much for me but I didn't hate it.

Exactly 1 oz., from a metered pour, monitored by the state/church.

I drink so rarely, but every once in a while I crave a margarita, but I also love Smirnoff Ice.

I wonder if it's got about the same calories as the Mikes Lemonades? I haven' had one in ages.... damn. Now I'm craving one.

SMIRNOFF ICE has 228 calories per 12-ounce bottle, that's about 70 more than a super-premium/imported beer, according to their own website

i agree with New Glarus but i like like Road Slush and Uff Da as well. Lienies Fireside Nut brown is good too. I too don't really care about the calorie count as well. but to each there own.

I went out Friday night with some friends to a real club! I did Vodka and soda.

ETA: Wanted to mention that in today's Hungry Girl daily email, there is a cocktail mix made with splenda called Mudslide or something. Many stores in my area have it. Sometimes I order a shot of tequila and mix in a crystal light packet with it to give it a margarita flair. I was thinking the mudslide stuff might be good with vodka shot too. The mixes come in individual packets too--like Crystal Light.

I loved it!!!! Mudslide is my favorite drink next to white russian... But it is sooo fatting!!!
I'll buy the single packets and bring with some with me at the clubs and order rum and mix it myself... I'll be saving so many calories!!!
Thank you for the tip!!!
by the way here is the link for the website:
