awesome!

So heres my day:

Breakfast: Multi grain special breakfast bagel. only 210 calories (less then 2 slice of whole bread) and its delicious. Whole grain only with little raisins mmmm I put peanut butter on it.

Snack: Green pepper about 4 slice. I wasnt super hungry

Lunch; Chicken fajitas *adapted for this diet without the wrap* with a salad with mushrooms and cucumber with a balsamic vinaigrette I make my self (olive oil honey garlic and balsamic vinagar)

Snack: couple of cherry tomatoes and radish

Dinner: Pepper and lime grilled shrimps with steam brocolli, asparagus and quinoa

I also drink lots of water with lemon in it. Yeah just one zest of lemon makes the water tasty butalso fills me right up!!! Anytime im starving, i Just drink a glass and I feel great. The more hungry I am the more lemon zest and juice I put. I count it as a fruit obvisouly but never use more than half a lemon.

Thats it for me

KimZ,

What brand of whole wheat spaghetti do you use? Also, does it taste like cardboard?

No I doesn't taste like card board It does take sometime to get use to the different texture.......Davinci is a Pretty good brand - it tastes more like the white pasta most people are use to another brand that is OK is Barilla - have you tried either? There are some that taste like cardboard or even worse paste that we all used in Kindergarten

No, I haven't tried either. I've just heard bad things about the whole wheat pasta taste and have been afraid to try it. I'm starting the plan this weekend, so I'm doing my grocery shopping tomorrow. I'll try to look for the Davinci brand.

Thanks!

I did I did Shrimp and Scallops on the Foreman and added them to a nice salad it was YUMMY Thanks so much!

Here's Today:

Breakfast - Fried egg in olive oil w/ lf mozz and a slice of tomato

snack - nothing because I am still doing the cranberry juice for now

Lunch - HM WG Pizza w/ mozz, tomato, zucc and mushrooms

snack - juice again

Dinner - I think I am doing a Greek chicken Fijita

Greek Chicken Fajitas With Herb & Feta Tzatziki

cup plain yogurt, Greek preferred
1½ cups peeled, seeded, diced cucumber
1½ cups seeded, diced tomato
4 ounces French or Greek feta cheese, crumbled
1/3 cup minced fresh cilantro
2 Tablespoons minced fresh mint
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

4 Tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
1 cup thinly sliced yellow bell pepper
1 cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
1½ cups halved and thinly sliced red onion
2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic

1¼ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
1½ Tablespoons McCormick Greek Seasoning
¾ teaspoons kosher salt
½ teaspoons freshly ground pepper
8 fajita-size flour tortillas, warmed

In a medium bowl, mix together yogurt, cucumber, tomato, feta, cilantro and mint. Season tzatziki to taste with salt and pepper and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Heat 2 Tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add bell peppers, onion and garlic; season lightly with salt and pepper, and sauté until vegetables are crisp tender and beginning to brown, about 8 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat remaining 2 Tablespoons olive oil in another large skillet, over medium high heat; add chicken strips, sprinkle with Greek seasoning, kosher salt and pepper and sauté until chicken is cooked thru, about 5-6 minutes.

Place a small serving bowl in the center of a large platter and fill with the tzatziki. Surround the bowl with bell pepper mixture and chicken. Place the tortillas in a covered tortilla warmer or in a napkin-lined basket to keep warm. Serves 4 or more.

I think my DD would like this but I have to wait and ask her since it's her night to pick dinner - Friday

Wow that sounds delicious... I dunno what to do for dinner anymore hahahaha

Question for you: what wave are you on? I noticed you have 3 times cheese in that day, are you just maintaining your weight?

Cheese is one of my favorite thing and that why I like this diet, it allows me to eat a little bit, but Ithought you had to consume it moderately

just wondering ^^

and for the juice thing, I have a glass of prune uice every morning to help me digest, I think you jsut have to take it moderately so you should be fine with the cranberry juice.

Actually Wave 1 but cheese is my downfall in life - I NEED to eat it since it's my only vice I will be tapering off slowly - I can't do it all at once or people wouldn't want to be around me - I gave up chocolate and sweets - cheese is my only vice right now anyway
