LA Weight Loss - Pretty new here & I need advice, thanks!

Hello everyone! I'm new here and I'm only looking to lose about 15 pounds, but i'm not sure how to go about doing so. Right now I work out at the gym doing cardio for an hour, and I burn about 600 calories and I sometimes lift weights. Since around december i've been doing this and I've only lost 5 pounds, I think this is because I'm under eating (only about 1300 calories)

Does anyone have advice on what I should do to make my weight loss efforts more effective? Should I eat around 2,000 calories and continue to burn 600?

How much water have you been drinking?

I drink ALOT of water, probably like a gallon a day, I just buy the big gallons of water and refill my water bottle all day
