This is the Thursday thread for all those who weigh in and then want to talk.
However, you don't have to weigh on Thursday to talk here!!!
We welcome everyone/anyone to come chat about losing.
A newer member, Karen, had a birthday last week!!!!
How is everyone doing?
Susan said that she'd let us know about Pat's surgery.
I am getting back on the bandwagon tomorrow. I'm going to return to writing in my journal and exercising faithfully.
Take care all.

Hey Tina! Thanks for starting the new thread. Boy we've been talkative.
I walked this morning, and I hope to walk again later today. It is too hot right now. I don't like heat!
Food and water are good so far. I got out of the habit of journaling and writing points while we were on our trip. Need to get back in the habit. I wrote down all the foods but not points while we were gone.

good afternoon,
Tammy--I admire all that walking you are doing!! I got on my exercise bike for 20 min this morning. Then, I went out and planted some grass plugs. It was just too hot and muggy to plant too many of them. I'll go back out in the morning.
I hope Susan let's us know how Pat did during his surgery.
I'm going to bake some chicken breasts for supper. And, I think I'll fix some baked "fried" potatoes. Does anyone make those? I haven't done them in ages.
Kady --how is your weather now?
Sis --How are you doing--how's your mom and brother?
Dee-- Have you recovered from your trip? :)

Hi All,
I'm home for the evening. I'm exhausted, we got up at 4... had to be at the hospital at 5:30 (it's about 40 minutes from here) Pat's surgery was 2 hours and then 1 1/2 hours in recovery. He was the best thing I ever saw at 11:30. He said he already has relief in his left arm. He is in his neck brace. They got him up and he walked some. I just got home, so I'm making this short, feeding all animals and then most likely taking a nap before bed. He comes home on Wednesday.
Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. I truly appreciate it.

Hi everyone,
Well, today isn't such a good day for Pat. He was sick during the night and has not had anything today except 1 popcicle. He is sick at his stomach and has a killer migraine. I'm wondering now if he will make it home tomorrow. If he feels this way tomorrow, I don't think he will make it.
I'm home for a short break!

Susan, glad Pat's surgery went well, but sorry he got sick. I think that happens often. I hope they don't release him if he is still feeling like that. I brought Bob home the same evening of his surgery. He ended up getting sick here, and I was a mess! Take care, both of you!
I never went for another walk yesterday, but I was up early this morning and went for one. Hubby and son went too! That was nice, even though Bob walks faster than I do. Tim walked with me and we chatted. LOL That's fun too.
Tim is running in a 5K race on the 4th. He's hoping another friend will be going too. The cross country coach encouraged them all to run in races this summer. Since we're encouraging him too, I'm going to pay the registration fee for him. I think he'll appreciate saving his own money!
Did great on food and water today. I've even got points left if I want a snack later. Hope I don't though!! I'll just have to guzzle some water. I've been crampy all day today. May wait until Friday to weigh. Give it an extra day!!!
Prayers are with you and your family.
Take care everyone.

Happy Wednesday!!
Well, I picked up Pat this morning. It sure is good to have him home, even though he has been sleeping since 1:00. I go in and check on him and take meds. He needs to get some good sleep!! You know how you sleep in the hospital.
Tammy, hope Tim does well in the race. I wish I could do those, but I guess you have to run some  My goal is to be able to walk one next year!!
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy 4th of July. Do ya'll have big plans? We can sit outside in the back and watch the town's firework display. I doubt Pat will go out to watch them.... but I will.
Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers!!

Hi All,
Susan, I'm so glad you got Pat home and he's doing okay. I hope things keep improving every day.
We aren't going to any fireworks tomorrow night. There are so many people and the parking is attrocious.
Our son is coming over around 5 p.m. We'll have hot dogs, baked beans, a little bit of potato salad and chips. Oh, I got those red and blue chips. :) They looked so great that I couldn't resist.
I hope we sleep late in the morning. Wow, that'll be nice.
Tammy, I add my hope that Tim does well in the race.
Everyone else----you know your names---- , I hope you have a great 4th of July.
Just remember what a wonderful country we live in.

Hi all! I hope you all had a great day yesterday!
It was so hot! Tim's race was interesting to say the least. That is his first time running the 3.1 miles. Last year his races were 2 miles, so he really wasn't sure how to pace himself. Well, the first 2 miles he ran in a little OVER 25 minutes. The last mile he ran in LESS than 8!!! Not very consistent at all. lol The thing was, he still had some energy at the end, so he probably could've kicked it up a bit earlier. I'm just thrilled that he finished without needing a rescue squad!!!
He is enthused about it now, because he has that first one under his belt. It won't surprise me if he enters a couple more races this summer to prepare him for cross country in the fall. He is already talking about running in the Firecracker Run again next year!!
The family reunion was great yesterday. We were able to get pictures (lots of them) of all the different generations that were there. My generation of cousins has 45, but we all weren't there. I wish we could all get together, but we are so spread out it's hard to do.
Well, have a good Friday! I'm heading out in 5 minutes to meet my walking buddies. It's cooler today, so we should be able to last a little longer.

Hi everyone,
I can't believe that it is already July 5th. Where is summer going? It is hot and humid here!
Tina, are ya'll getting the rain? My folks live in San Antonio.... they say it is horrible down there! Everyone is safe that's the main thing.
Tammy, way to go Tim!!! He did a great job on his run!!! He should be really proud of himself.
Nothing new today. Each day Pat gets a little stronger.
Have a great weekend!

Good evening,
Susan asked if I was getting rain. No, thank goodness we're not. We had enough last year with Allison. We know some people who are still not in their home yet because of the mold and water damage.
Susan, I was wondering if your family was okay. I'm glad they are.
We had planned on going tubing on the Comal River in another week. Not Now!!! :(
Good Going, Tim. Wow, was that a fast time!!!
How is everyone else doing?
I've had a sore throat all day. I've drunk 3 diet colas. Nothing else tastes good to me. I shall sleep in tomorrow.

Glad Pat is getting along OK. Also glad that your family is safe.
All that rain is scary. We could use some of it here. Our yard is looking pretty bad. So many brown spots.
Tina, take care of that throat! I used to get sore throats all the time when I was little, but don't get them as often now. Thank goodness!!
I had a headache last night with eye glimmers. I have not had one of those in years. I don't know what was going on. When the little flashes around the eyes started, I almost didn't know what was happening, then it dawned on me, "There's a headache headed your way!!!" It was not fun.
Everyone have a great weekend. Not sure if I'll be back on here today or tomorrow. My walking buddies and I are taking Tim to Scout Camp tomorrow. We're driving a little further to Amish Country to do some shopping. We'll be back sometime on Tuesday.
Take care!! Stay OP, drink that water, and get some moving in there. Now I need to follow my own advice while we're shopping!!!!

Hi ladies,
Tammy, have fun shopping in the Amish country. I have always wanted to do that! Tell us about it when you come back. How long will Tim be gone at Boy Scout Camp?
Tina, hope your throat gets to feeling better!! :( Now that must be bad if nothing sounds good to you.
My folks say it is horrible down there. The most important thing is they are safe.
Have a great Saturday! I need to do the same thing and drink more water!!!
Where is everyone? I hope enjoying summer!

Hi All,
It's a beautiful day in the (my) neighborhood. he..he..he.. (couldn't resist it)
Susan, I'm glad your family is okay. I wonder if the Barn Door is taking in water! Oooh, a big salad and steak from there would make me well.
Tammy, have a great time. I, too, would love to go to Amish country. I want to go to Boston some day also. Larry took a summer course at MIT once and would walk all over Boston every day.
This may sound crazy -- but--I'm afraid to fly up to Boston. I guess it's because that's near the area where the 9/11 stuff took place. I wasn't afraid to fly to CA last Oct. or to Grand Cayman this year. It must be the location of Boston.
Anyone have any thoughts on my thoughts? :)
Okay, I'm going to get back on the sofa. I still feel bad. Yesterday I finally had some appetite and ate 3 pieces of apple pie!!! Today I've had a little container of applesauce and some yogurt and it's afternoon. I think I'll stay out of the apple pie today. ;)

Tina, Are you feeling better? I'll have to ask about the Barn Door :) You know that is one of my favorite places. YUM!!!!

It's Wednesday!
We are a quiet bunch, aren't we!
I hope Tammy is having fun buying lots of things in Amish country.
What is everyone else doing????????
I'm taking it easy today. I did too much running around yesterday. After being sick over the weekend, I needed to take it easy a few more days.....so.....I'll get back to doing that. I won't be going to weigh in tomorrow but will step onto my scales and let everyone know what's going on.
Is everyone happy with how they fit into their bathing suits? No one has mentioned it.

Hi everyone! We returned from Amish Country early yesterday evening. I was too pooed out to get on the computer and check messages. I was in bed by 9;00!
Shopping was so much fun. We always have such a good time when we are together. Lots of laughing!
I bought a doorstop, a small plant hanger for outside, and some sesame sticks. That is all! Can you believe it? I had other things picked up to purchase, but I decided to be "thrifty". lol
Was able to get in PLENTY of walking Sun., Mon, and Tues. Some of the walking was done at camp on Sun. and Tues. We had two cars because I had to have Tim to camp earlier than the other 2 could get away. We left my car there, and took Meissa's on our shopping venture. I couldn't just get my car yesterday and take off without seeing Tim. I had even pulled down the driveway and was ready to turn on the road!
I went back and he and 4 other counselors in training were sitting on a picnic table by the office. They were all glad to see me! Made me feel good. Talked for about 30 minutes, then I left. Tonight is parent's night at camp, but we're not going over. It's a 3 1/2 hour drive one way.
I drive back over on Sat. morning to pick him up. He wants me to check with his cousin to see if he'll ride over with me. Not sure Jonathan will want to get up that early. We'll need to leave here about 6:30. YUCK!
I haven't even tried my bathing suit on for the past couple of years. It irritates Bob that I won't. I used to swim all the time when Tim was younger, and I was about the same size that I am now. Not sure why I don't.
I know how you feel about flying. I've always been nervous anyway about flying. Now, I am not interested in it at all. No matter where the flight is going!!! Just call me chicken!
I just heard the dryer buzz, so I need to head for the basement.

Hi,
Welcome back Tammy! It sounds like you had a blast on your trip! I don't have to spend a lot to have a good time.
Tina, Are you feeling better?
As for my bathing suit, I want a new one but refuse to buy one until next summer. I have a nice one but it's a little big now. My friend Scott pointed out in Galveston.. He said "the butt is getting baggy" I don't swim very much so I figure I can hold out.
Today was a day! Calgon take me away!!!!!! I had my mammogram & gyn appointment which is an all day thing since I have to go into Dallas for it (about 40 minutes from here)... anyway then had to run errands. Yuck!!
I lost 2 1/2 pounds, part of what I gained last week. 2 more pounds and I'll be at my lowest!
Have a great evening!

Congrats on 2 1/2 pounds Susan!!!! Doesn't it feel great?
Our trip was alot of fun. This morning when we walked we kept talking about the silly things that we did. we're already talking about our shopping trip we'll be taking on Thanksgiving weekend! Saving our money for that one now.
I'm meeting my hubby for lunch today at a Chinese buffet. I'll try to make wise choices. Easier said than done sometimes.
Have a great weekend everyone! I pick Tim up from camp tomorrow. I figure that he will sleep most of the way home.

Ditto to what Tammy said. Susan, that was a great loss.
Tammy, it sounds like you have so much fun on your trips. It's great to have a group of friends that can travel like that. I envy you. All my friends are stuck at work all the time.
I wish all our newer members would post. Just because you don't see your name mentioned, doesn't mean that I'm not thinking about you and wondering how your weight loss is going!!!
Would y'all believe it---I'm finally over whatever I had. :) It's been almost a week & I would've been over it soon, I know, if I'd stayed in. My scales showed a pound drop this morning. I'm on my way.......
Tammy, take it easy going to get Tim. Is his cousin going, too?
Susan, how is Pat?
Sis, can you update us on your brother?
Dee, what is your daughter doing this summer? Did you ever find a good camp?

Newer members... Ditto on what Tina said! :) Please post.

Tina, glad you are finally feeling better!! :) I think when you are sick in the summer, you have it longer. Congrats on the loss!! :D
Well, I skipped weigh in this morning. I did go, but skipped it. Yesterday, I craved salt all day long. I had way too much of it ( I know it's bad for me) and I feel it today. However, I didn't start my day off well either... had a couple of kolaches from the donut place.... (basically pigs in a blanket) I'll make sure that I ride my bike today.
We had a great lightning show last night but no rain. Have a great weekend.

My nephew and I left here this morning at 6:30 to go to get Tim. We got home about 2;45. The boys slept on the way home. I waited until I got home to collapse! I slept for about 45 minutes and it felt great. Tim had a great time, and would like to be a counselor next summer. He'd be doing something he likes and be getting paid so that's a good thing, right?
It really is great going places with my friends. We all work in schools, so that helps matters so much! It has been fun getting together to walk with them this summer too. We meet 3 days a week to walk.
I too wish everyone would post to let us know how they are doing.

Sounds like everyone is having a good summer so far. Sorry to hear that you've been sick lately Tina...but glad you are better now.
Congrats Susan on your loss!! You must be excited to be so low on the scales!
Tammy, yea it's a good thing when you get paid to do something you like!! Sounds like Tim has next summer planned out, that's great that he had so much fun at camp.
My kid is off to camp (day camp) starting Mon. It will be M-F for 2 weeks. That should wind her down! I got her a new swim suit and new tenny's to wear... she's looking forward to it. She will be going with 2 of her cousins, but they are all in different age groups..so different camp classes.
Last week's weather was extra hot, and this past week it cooled down some... but it still plenty hot to go swimming! We have been waiting til like 6pm or so to go swim...and Im glad its still plenty hot as I work til 5.
I've been playing water volley ball ...that's tough to do when it's a 2 person team!!. Although I havent lost any weight. I think that's one reason I dont post much, as Im not haveing any results...just maintaining for ever. Bad food choices and lack of energy for exercising. Seems its so much easier to say... I'll do better tomorrow, then to actually do better :)
Well I know it's tomorrow now (its 1 am) so I should get to bed before I decide to eat :D Have a great week all!

Dee!!! Great to hear from you. I haven't had any more weight come off either. I have been getting plenty of walking in, and I can tell the clothes are fitting better. I think the doctor would appreciate seeing a change in the scales though! I go on Friday, and I hope I'm down some since I was there last.
That's great that your daughter will be at camp with her cousins even if they are in different classes. At least she knows someone there.
I haven't done much today. Taught Sunday school this morning and did some laundry this afternoon. I'm getting ready for a garage sale, so I really should be getting the garage ready. So what am I doing on the computer??? My SIL is bringing things in for the sale, and she will be here sometime before noon tomorrow. I'll need to get up early if I don't go out yet this evening to get things together. Tim and my nephew carried tables from the basement out to the garage earlier. I'm hoping he comes back tonight and he and Tim can clean the garage. I will pay them to do it!!

Hi all,
Dee, it is good to hear from you. Don't wait so long to write next time. Boy, I'm not doing good, weight-wise. I go see my gyn next week and he won't be happy with my increase in weight. :( Tammy, having a garage sale is fun. I hope you make lots of money. We had to have an estate sale when we sold Mother's house. Now, that was no fun. It felt like she was dead.
You have lots of fun and I hope your weather is good.
It's been raining all day. It rained last night, too. Our backyard looks like a lake. :(
Everyone have a great Monday.

Tammy did Tim and your nephew return to clean your garage for the sale? Hope you have a good sale. I don't go garage saling myself, but I know lots of people love that kind of shopping. Way to go on your clothes fitting you looser!! Even if the scales dont show the lose you must be loosing..congrats on that!!
Good luck at your gyn appt next week Tina... None of my doctors have really said anything about my weight, just one doc, and that was years ago. Could be because neither of them are too thin either :)
Did everyone enjoy there day today? I get to sleep in on Sun. Took my kid to a movie and out shopping. We say MIB2....it was her idea not mine LOL... I could have done with out some of the alien stuff, but since it's an alien movie guess that wasn't gonna happen. It wasn't a bad movie over all.....and I didn't even eat any popcorn!! Then we went swimming this evening, and I swam laps while she splashed around and dived.
Have a good week all... and I'll post again soon. Dee

Hi Everyone,
Well, I'm up today. It's a funny thing how when there is a loss, you feel great and a gain you feel horrible. I did pretty good until the ice cream just a few minutes ago.
Saturday, I steam cleaned our bedroom and did the den today. That's hard work. It looks so much better.
Dee, can you came back. Don't worry, I'm in the same boat as you are. I seem to lose the same 5 pounds over and over again.
Tina, we've had just a little rain. Mom and Dad say it's rain in San Antonio again. Boo!!
Tammy, did Tim have fun at camp! It sounds like he did if he wants to be a counselor.

Evening all,
Susan, do you hire out? Larry was polishing his shoes today (he's off on vacation) and his shoe shining thingy slung polish everywhere on the carpet. Fortunately, I had Woolite rug cleaner and a few quirts got it all out. He thought it happned because it was the bottom of the polish can and was cakey. Whatever----it came out of the carpet.
Dee, we've been thinking about seeing MIB2. Would you believe, we went to see Crocodile Hunter; Collision Course! Yes!!! There was one other couple in the theater beside us that didn't have children. It was pretty good for a G-rated show.
Tammy, how far do you walk?
Kady, where are you????? Sis, how is your family?
Karen, Jennie, Kurly--where are y'all?

I know what your talking about Susan..if I could just add up all them SAME 5 pounds every time, I'd have hit goal years ago :) Hope you don't get too down about the gain, it's sure to disappear by the next weigh in..with even more losses!
Tina I hope you don't have white carpet!! Yikes... Good thing that Woolite did the trick though. Guess it's time to buy more shoe polish (and let Larry do his polishing in the garage :) )
Must have been a good week for movies! My kid and 1 of her cousins thought I should have taken them to a movie after they got home from camp! Like yea right! Crocidile Hunter will no doubt be the next movie we go see... Im looking forward to the Country Bears movie :) , its out July 25th I think.
I did more laps this evening and played volleyball in the pool..and did a bunch of horse play with 2 kids... where do they get all their energy??
How is everyone else doing? Seems like I'm not the only one that slowed down on posting during the summer months. Maybe everyone will start posting again........ I know Jeenie was off to Genoa for the weekend... hope it was a good trip for you!

Good morning,
I hire out but I'm not sure anyone would be able to afford me! :D I didn't know steam cleaning the carpet was such hard work. I am pleased with the results ( I better be :) )
Tina, Was the Crocodile Hunter good? I like the show... I think Steve Irwin is just a little crazy. Glad you got the shoe polish out of the carpet... what a mess!!!
Dee, It sounds like you have fun in the water. I love to swim or just be in the water. I agree with you and kids. I don't know where they get the energy and when we actually lose ours :)
I'm taking it easy today. Gonna run out to Petsmart but I think that's about it.
Pat started working from home yesterday. It sure made him feel better having something to do. He goes back to the dr. on Friday for his post-op appointment.
Ya'll have a great Tuesday.

Tina, I remember when you had the estate sale. It was a hard time for everyone involved. When we had the auction for my parents' estate in 1999, it was so hard seeing their things sell. There was no way that we could keep everything though. One of my aunts was upset because we didn't keep more. I stayed in the house most of that day so I didn't have to watch the stuff sell.
We usually walk at least 2 miles, sometimes more. Yesterday I only did a little over a mile before my knee started bothering me. I go to the doctor on Friday. I think I'll wait to walk again until after I've been to see him.
Dee, the boys did not get the garage cleaned out Sunday night. They enjoyed playing pool, computer games, and TV more than the garage. LOL Tim did get up and help get it ready on Monday morning though.
I think it's time for me to go to a movie. It must be the thing to do. I have no idea what the last movie I saw was.
Susan, Tim can't stop talking about camp! He had a great time. He always comes home with lots of stories and he always has fun, but this year was different. He is VERY EXCITED about everything he did.
Pat has to feel better about being able to do something. It's hard when you are used to staying busy to be on "hold".
Need to put some things in the dryer and head out to the garage. My SIL has been out there organizing her things for a while. Tim is mowing the weeds. Grass isn't tall enough to mow so he's mainly doing weeds. What a waste of gas!

Did anyone miss me??? :)
We went to the beach for two nights. We had a great time except for one little thing---There was a fire in one of the condos where we were staying! Yes, a fire!!!! It was 4 units down from us. It was an electrical fire and was put out quickly.
We were out in the water. We could see a police car and then an ambulance. We figured there had been a car wreck.
Then, Larry yelled at me that he saw smoke coming from the condos. We got out of the water, picked up our towels and umbrella and ran across the street.
There was no damage -smoke or anything to where we were staying. The bad thing was that we had to wait 3 hours to get back into it. There we were in our bathing suits and shirts. The management was very nice, taking water to everyone waiting. We finally left and walked over to a Popeye's for a greasy chicken lunch.
Oh, I didn't mention that our car was parked near the fire. The laddar truck was right behind it so we couldn't move out of the way. Fortunately, the car was fine.
Too much excitement for me. Other than that, we had fun!
For supper tonight, I cooked lots of veggies (and a chicken stir-fry for Larry and our son) and chocolate sugar free pudding.
We saw another movie this afternoon--- Mr. Deeds. It was silly.
Okay, I've written y'all a book.

Dee, fortunately, our carpet is brown. We once had a white rug in our dining room. I don't know what possesed (sp?) me to buy that because it was a mess all the time. Someday I'll steam clean the bedroom carpet and be surprised that it might be a tan instead of darker brown.

Tina! So much for a relaxing trip, right? Lots of excitement for you.
We had lots of customers at the garage sale on Friday. Today we weren't busy, so we shut the doors at 2:00. We'll open up on Sat. morning and close at noon. I cannot believe how much has gone out of there! We've taken in about $400 for everyone. I don't think that's too bad considering most of the things were marked $1.00 or less. Still more to sell though. My SIL knows of a man that will come and offer so much for what is left over, and he hauls it away! I think that is our plan. I don't want to take a bunch of stuff back into the house.
Getting ready to go to the doctor in a little bit. He's doing a follow-up check about my BP medicine, weight (ick). I need to talk to him about my left knee. It is not behaving lately. I'm not able to get in as much walking as I was because it starts to hurt really bad and starts going numb.
That's all for now!

Hi Everyone,
We made it back from the dr. Pat is now in a soft brace. He is glad. He can now be a passagener in the car. He start p. t. next week. After 4 weeks of it he can start driving. He still can't do anything yet but can get out. So all in all good news :)
Tammy, great job on the garage sale!!! I just give all our stuff to Salvation Army.
I mowed this morning and I now have a headache that won't quit. It's from the heat!! :( Off to take a nap to see if it will go away.
Have a great day!

Susan, I hope your headache is gone! Great news for Pat! When Bob started his PT, I went with them so they could show me the kinds of exercises that he needed to be doing. While they were doing it, I got light headed and almost fainted! They made me leave. Am I a wimp or what?
Doctor was thrilled with the BP and he didn't mention my weight!! My knee hurts worse now than when I went because he was checking it out. He gave me some exercises to do to strengthen the knees. My kneecap is doing strange things. I'm still allowed to walk, but on flat ground only. No hills or steps for a while. He also gave me some medicine to reduce the swelling and help the pain.
It's always something, isn't it??
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Tammy,
Being one that will soon be having partial knee replacement.... make sure that you wear soft sole shoes too. Take Glucosamine Sulfate... 1500mg a day. It's in the vitamin section of the store. It helps rebuild torn or damaged cartilidge.. It takes about 4-6weeks to build up in your system. I've been taking it for about 6 yrs now. It helps too!

Hi,
Susan, that's great news about Pat. I'm glad things are going smoothly. I hope you got rid of that headache. Do you get allergies? Yes, this weather is something else. We stayed in the a/c most of today.
Tammy, your garage sale sounds great! It's good someone will take the left-overs off your hands.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. Be careful and stay cool.
Tammy, what is your weather doing? And, how far are you from Amish country? I really want to go there some day.

How is everyone doing this hot Saturday? Is it hot everywhere?
I've been drinking my water.
Has anyone heard of taking vitamin B6 for water retention? I'm wondering if it works.
Have a great weekend.

We had some rain yesterday, but not enough to do any good. I feel bad for the farmers. The crops need some rain bad! It's been in the 90's this week. More of the same coming next week.
We are about 3-4 hours away from one of the Amish areas in Ohio. There are others in Indiana and Pennsylvania. It would probably be the same distance to the ones in Indiana, but they are close to Tim's Boy Scout camp. lol
We opened the sale this morning and had no customers. I told Tim that if no one came by 10, we would shut it down. Wellllllllllllll, we started getting customers and it lasted steadily until 2;00. We closed about 2:30. We were hot and tired. We still have things left but not much. In fact, the man we thought that would come and take things doesn't really want to come because there is so little left.
I'm going to take my books in to school and share with the other teachers. The kids' books, I'm going to give to the librarian at school if she wants them. Clothes, I'm taking to the County Home. Knick knacks, to Goodwill. (or the FREE box in my classroom) Kids always love getting freebies!
I'm about ready to hit the pillow and it's only 8:30.

It's mega hot here! It was like 100 this afternoon when I was getting ready to head to work. Good thing I work inside. Well my weekend has gone down hill since Thur. Was gonna get some new furniture, that feel thru for the moment. Then I found a leak around my hot water heater...ended up having to buy a new heater, and a water softner on Fri. (missed work Fri dealing with all that). Now my AC isnt running! I'm hoping its just cause my BIL is working on the bathroom stuff and he disconnected something, or he'll have to fix that. I only have a fan running in the house (gonna be hot for sleeping)! Maybe i'll go out to my new truck and turn the AC on and sleep :D
Tammy way to go on your garage sale. Sounds like you did really great with it. Glad to hear you BP is doing ok for now.
Susan that's great about Pat being able to get out now, and it wont be long he will be able to drive again...good luck with his PT.
Wow, you had an exciting trip Tina! Glad to hear that every thing was OK for you, and that you were able to enjoy your trip.
Hope everyone else had a good weekend. Mine has to improve right?!? LOL. I get to sleep in some...it's Sun morning! Yea!

Happy Sunday to everyone!
Dee, what a weekend! I'm sorry about that water heater. And, let us know about that a/c. I sure hope it was your BIL and not the condenser or whatever makes it run.
I just saw on the Weather Channel that our heat index right now is 100. I'm going to stay in the rest of the afternoon.
We'd thought about going back to the beach, but, the heat is just too much.
Tammy, I'm glad the garage sale was so good.
Susan, let me know if that B6 works on your PMS. I took 100mg for the first time yesterday. Maybe it takes a couple of days to get it working on water retention.
Everyone stay cool.
