After months of doing little to no exercise I am getting ready to go for a walk on my treadmill. I am actually scared to get on it. What if I hurt myself, what if I work out and don't lose any weight, what if I can only walk for 2 minutes before I pass out, etc etc. I am so heavy right now and I hate it. I had lost down to 160 pounds they changed my meds and here I am at 200 + pounds. Sigh. Small steps I guess. Wish me luck please.

When I started on the treadmill I had to hang on or I felt like I was going to fall off and I couldn't "run" for even a whole minute. At that time, one mile would have killed me. Congrats!!!!!!

you're braver than me. I actually avoid escalators because I think my shoelaces are going to get caught and I'm going to get injured. I get the same wierd feeling on treadmill unless it's on an incline. I like it inclined.
good for you for doing a mile in 23 min! woohoo! keep it up!

Hey that's almost 3 miles an hour :) 2.6 is a fine walking pace! Good job, keep it up. I love walking on the treadmill for some reason, I like to listen to my music and just walk away my worries.
