Default New frozen treat!

Well this may be old news but it's new to me - I took two of my containers of Activia yogurt and threw them in the freezer to see how they'd freeze, and upon removing them a day later I am pleasantly surprised. The consistency is harder than icecream but it can still be shaved with a spoon. The yogurt turns into this delicious, healthy treat that took me a few minutes to eat and felt really decadent. It tasted wonderful and felt a bit more like a splurge than a normal container of lowfat yogurt.

If you're struggling with feeling deprived but, like me, can't keep junk in the house this is a great experiment to try. Just thought I'd share

Thanks for the idea, I'll give that a try with my Fiber One yogurt and see how it taste tomorrow.

I've been eating yogurt frozen for almost 3 years now. I don't let it get rock hard solid though. I prefer it partially frozen. I leave it in the freezer about an hour and fifteen minutes. Or if it gets rock solid, I let it thaw for about an hour. I enjoy that consistency better then rock solid. I add a quarter of a cup of Fiber One Cereal to it. Tastes like a little sundae with granola.

The Yoplait Whips freeze up with the consistency of actual sherbet or frozen yogurt. Yum!
