100 lb. Club - trying to get my head around this

I haven't posted much lately, been busy and a little distracted.
I got on the scale this morning and weighted in at 247. A couple of months ago it was 274. All the way down the stairs I had to readjust the numbers in my head. I kept on thinking 274 and then stop and think no it's 247. I have to start thinking differently. :dizzy:

That's awesome. I can so totally relate. I JUST NOW have stopped saying 3-hundred something instead of 2-hundred something ;) It's a mind flip for sure!

I weigh myself every morning. I need to see if I am on track. I guess this morning I was just having a hard time realizing that I have lost weight after being 279 for such a long time. I was having a hard time getting the numbers in the right order.
Maybe just my age catching up with me.

That is just wonderful. Wonderful.
This is an amazing journey. Enjoy it. It's wonderful discovering yourself and finding out what you are capable of and who you were meant to be.
Stick with it, just keep at it and there will be lots more moments like the one you had this morning.
Oh, and I agree with you totally about the weighing every day. Nothing like that reality check first thing in the morning to keep one on it's toes. It's just another way of monitoring our health. The information is available to us, we should surely take advantage of it.
